I think ya did great. A 20 gauge is the only shotgun I have. Like most others i wanted a big bad 12 gauge but just couldn't afford even the cheapest one. Then out of the blue my brother gives me a maverick 88 20 gauge youth model. It's cool that is takes different screw in chokes. Only thing I had to do was get a slip on recoil pad to lengthen it a bit as being a youth model the butt stock was too short. As far as ammo for it I march to a dfferent drum. While others scarf up all the slugs and buck shot in sighti scarf up all the small birdshot i can, alot of ot being 7 1/2 - 9 shot. People underestimate the damage the small birdshot can do at 21 feet or less even out of an open bore barrel. Even more damage when fired from a modified or full choke. But the coolest part of this vid was you were able to find some rem cyclone 22 lr. I haven;t seen any of that in my part of ne ohio for over 20 years. If I remember right the bullets are flat tipped, and the yellow jacket is the hp version of it. Then again, with few exceptions there is little difference between the best and worst 22 lr round which is why I'm not picky when to comes too 22 lr.
now with a new shot gun time to start stocking up on birdshot id sat 7,5s for doves and #5 shot going for anything bigger in birds and rabbits pheasants
Great haul brother, I picked up a couple hundred of the 5.7x28 from PSA myself a week ago. Those blue tips are never less than 35 per box when on sale in store. Super fun to shoot btw!
Unless you can get free shipping, it takes a lot of ammo to make it worth buying it online... I always have to compare the price difference between the two
It is always good to pick up another firearm, and ammo...we have added another caliber, and I am in the process of buying both the stash and range supply for it...don't sweat the election, go out and vote, it is our chance to make change...
I am also thinking of buying a reasonably priced 20 G. The recoil is better than a 12 G. Cannot wait to see what 20 G you bought Good video. Thank you.
I buy online in person. No cards ,just cash. Im telling you folks there going to be tracking all the purchases. And this guy has tons and toms of ammo idk what these goofys are yapping about.
@@bensherman8976 they can track whatever they want... I'm not hurting anyone by collecting and owning guns and ammo... I have no sort of record, I have never hurt anyone nor do I plan on it, so are they just gunna tell me I can't own guns or ammo for litterally no reason? I'm not for sure if I'm the goofy one or if it's somone else....
What’s the pros to this compared to buying bulk amount of ammo online at one purchase/time. Keep up the work!
I miss my 20 gauge I sold to a friend. I would like to buy it back or buy a more modern one.

Federal ammo is good stuff.
Actually all ammo is good. But there are some that are great stuff.

All that ammo adds up little by little. Good job, ammo going up now. Oct 20th, 24. 45-47!

@@michaelfranks341 in store around me isn't even comparable. Instore around me is WAYYYYY more, but yes what you're saying is correct
Ammo is consistently cheaper online by me. You may come across a random deal here or there every once in a while. But often way more deals online.
A squirt of blue dawn with a spoon full of sugar, works better than gojo for getting the gunk stains off your hands.
It's not on my hands, it's in my hands🤣
Yeah keyboard warriors don’t know about having working hands.
@@paulschmidt1247 who’s a keyboard warrior? You referring to me? I’ve been in the trades for 20 years lol I wash the gunk off my calluses
I needed this vid as motivation. I'm going out to add to my inventory.
Great video, get what you can, when you can, I'm a working man I have to plan everything around my budget 😊

Thank you!!!!
