Love your accent, and you explain and show things so clearly. Thank you 😊

hahahahaa I've only just got round to watching this - lots of laughs watching you teetering on the edge of the pond precariously. The shaded lighting in all of your pond videos always looks absolutely amazing. Such a cool use of the drone to show the cedar tree as well. A brilliant showcase of hozelock products and a lovely makeover of the pond.

Cheers dude! At least I didn’t end up in the pond - I’m waiting for the day when that happens! 😂

Very enjoyable even for those of us who don't have a pond. You do know your ratings would have skyrocketed if you had fallen into the pond, 😁

Great tips Niall, I’ve also been using a child’s net to clean my pond, I had no idea there was such a thing as a ‘skimming net!’ I’m definitely getting one ☺️

Braver than me with the thistles. I tend to cut them down low and then dig out with a fork, but I'd also definitely have fallen into the pond.😁

There he is… He’s back. 👍🏽 Thanks for inspiring us to get out into our gardens and doing some much needed tidying up Niall. Your pond looks amazing. I had a small pond a few years ago. It was 6 feet by 4 feet. We moved and I miss it. Last but not least… The intro and the music inserted into it at the end of it… 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 You guys can now enjoy your beautiful pond once again. Take care.

Niall, you have totally sold me on Hozelock; epecially that fountain. Your calm, cool delivery and your excellent eye for detail really make these videos special. Thank you! Now, that "video" you told us to click-on at the end did not actually do anything. (to change gears) I hope someone is treating you really well. You are too adorable to be alone. Take care and thank you again for such a wonderful video.

I don't have a pond but thoroughly enjoyed this. Such fun! Thanks for sharing your beautiful, tranquil pond. Hope you and the frogs enjoy. Best wishes

You see now I want a pond in my garden!! That was a most satisfying video Niall. The difference in your pond after all your work is amazing!! Those Hozelock gadgets are some job and I've already been looking them up to see what else they do. Fab! That fountain though! And obviously wee froggy is happy with his/her new clean home! Brilliant Niall from beginning to end...thank you xx

I'm sure you are going to have an abundance of foxgloves next year as I guess loads have already set/dropped seeds

I wish the pond I inherited had so little silt mine is as high as the water level in places. Will be a week or more long job to clear. Yours is looking great and love the new pond pump.

That is a nice pond. I have had several Hozelock easyclear filters over the years. I like the fact that they are easy to use and clean, but they have consistently been unreliable long term. Before there weren't many other options for all in one filters but now there are. To be fair, I did run them through the winter which it states not to do but doing so is useful to help clear autumn leaves that end up on the bottom of the pond. For anyone considering getting one I would consider looking elsewhere. One other point is, if you have fish the size ratings are a bit optimistic in my opinion.
As a related note I also had a Hozelock Autoreel which broke with little use, though to be fair the replaced it outside of the warranty (it broke within the period but I took time to get round to claiming the guarantee).

In one of your video you mentioned a perennial plant that can be used instead of yellow rattle but... I can't rememver its name 😬 . Could you help me? 😃

Great job Niall, the pond looks amazing! Do you know if the filter/fountain is available in a solar powered version? I have a similar project to be getting on with at my allotment where the only power is solar power, the power of nature.

    Hi Neil,
Where do I buy native plants for my wildlife pond? I live in NI.

Hi Jennifer! Apologies for the late reply - I have to confess that I'm not sure where would be best in NI. Sorry!
