Single blade nippers (DSPIAE, Madworks or other brand) + Gunprimer Raser means no sanding neither hobby blade anymore. The single blade nippers will provoke so much less stress on the parts that the discoloration due to plastic distortion will be far less noticeable. Note that the single blade really, really makes a difference when you cut the part off from the sprue. But Raser or other glass sanding tools and nubs removers can be a bit tricky and feel strange when you start with them. But excellent tools, better results mainly on non white parts) , and much time earned while building your kits. A bit on the expensive side, but IMO they are worth the price.

The balancer is what I like and I have used hobby knife to shave off the nub, sand and then use the balancer.

If it can get me from having to use coarse, fine, buffing, and polishing sandpaper down to two steps, totally worth it! Also not a fan of marks left from my blade. Hard to undo sometimes. Great review. More gunpla content and reviews please!!!

I absolutely want one of these. I have abstained from the cheap glass files because they are inconsistent in their grit, and you had mentioned the hand feel. I’m big on that, lol.

Totally worth it. I know it’s expensive, but I’ve tried cheaper ones since then and been unimpressed. And this one is still kicking, hasn’t worn out on me yet!

Wow! Thanks! If it’s any added endorsement, I am STILL using the file from this video how many years later. (The back part has peeled off but it still works great!) Take care of your tools and your tools will take care of you.

Using the razer will make your work a lot faster than the sand paper. If you want to “restore” the same finish of the plastic you need to do 3/4 step of grinding with sand paper, this product is more for people who don’t want paint their kit. Also if you buy any generic “Glass Nano File” you will achieve a very close result

LOL at the people who overpaid for those items. You can get those at Wal-Mart or Target or even Amazon. They're just a glass file and a buffer stick with a Logo sticker put onto it.

Wow great spelling. If you build a lot the raser would last longer and the gunprimer balancers are $5 for three, basically not a necessity but a good tool to have
