7:02 I was taught that the dunker's spot was directly beside where the lane and baseline meet at a perpendicular angle and the shot corner was about 3-4 feet away from that area.
I would tend to agree with that. The short corner, as you described it, has become obsolete in recent years as the midrange jump shot is becoming less popular.
Very similar. A flip always involves a ball screen. A Ricky action/concept happens away from the ball when a guy receives a backscreen and then gets a rescreen (typically to get him open for a 3)
Hope it wasn't too overwhelming. There's so many concepts, but it will help simplify the game when everything "has a name". Thanks for watching, we'll have more terms coming later.
That means a lot! Thank you. I do the content by myself. My name is Austin McBeth. I played at Iowa State and then started coaching at the college level for about 10 years, and just moved to the high school level this year. Appreciate the gift and the support!
@@TheFilmRoom1 "Preciate the love. These videos I've heard take over 20+ hours to make. I have no idea how guys like you do what you do. TH-camrs like you are giving me the basketball education I never had.
