Hi, great content. I have been surfing in your videos and they are very helpful!
What shitake strain do you use?

Hello. Just a quick question- I have a lot of popcorn in the bag (innoculated 2 months ago) but the block itself is still mostly white. Should I make a slit in the bag to help it with browning? Do they need some air at this point? The other method to make it brown I read is to introduce the block to strong light. Is any of this helpful or should I just wait more? Best regards

Have recently taken interest in growing mushrooms. Ordered an all in one grow block of Blue Oyster says easy to grow. Want to grow some Shitake, read they are more difficult to grow. is this true ?

Yes and no. Ready to grow oyster kits are perfect to start. Growing shiitake takes A LOT more time, but when using a ready to grow kit I never had any issues. The kit needs a "slapping" to initiate pinning. But thats not needed as the package get normally a lot of smacking during delivery;)
