    Aside from being the best lesson videos for beginners bar none on getting into boogie woogie, I just wanna say. Your sense of humour can't be 'beat'. Please never change, Jay
    Also, your teaching finally made it click for me and I can now play with BOTH hands. Amazing 🌝 Keep em coming! And thanks for everything o7

    I recently found out about this channel. Really amazing, motivating, and inspiring. It would be great if besides short videos, you share some videos with full songs with or without the guidance part. Thank you for all the lessons provided.

    Hey Jay - outstanding video and excellent visual for easy understanding. I can play but pretty much new to boogie woogie. Would appreciate in future video - how to play 2 - 8th notes against triplet in R/H think called duplet - noticed it in one of your other videos but not able yet to do it. Thank you - keep up great work - bob

    Hi Jay. I know it's probably too much work but I've been trying to learn your individual notes within the chords by slowing the videos down and it's tough. If there is any way you can add the notes above the keys and reupload it would really help. I know it is asking a lot so if you can't, no big deal. I'm getting this but it's slow going. Wish I had this on editing system at work, I could do it right there!

    Hey Jay, some help needed. I am really working on the hand dependence deal thanks to your videos. Can you suggest some additional right hand chords I can play as I work on this? I'd love to have a group to practice so I can not only get the independence down but learn more chords as well.
    Thanks for coming back to your loyal fans!

      Thanks for your comment... you could maybe try the dominant 7th chords e.g. C7 F7 and G7 ...

    Jay,
    I like the individual notes you add in at 4:50 but they are too fast and without graphics it's very hard to get the timing down. Do you have a video that references this technique in detail and if not could you perhaps make one up?

      Thanks for your comment.. unfortunately I've no video yet to show this.. maybe you could try slowing the video down using the TH-cam settings..👍🎹😎

      Jay can you tell me the notes you play within the chord in sequence. If I know that I can figure it out. I just can't tell which fingers and keys you are using. You are too good!

    • @TheMathias95
      @TheMathias95 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can just try and play only the melody to get the notes right, then play around with both hands till you get the timing down.
      He's just playing notes from the chord, so there you have the fingers.

    Is it alright to use my thumb instead of my index finger?

    • @jayacoustics9150
      @jayacoustics9150  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment.. whatever finger feels best.. however.. to play fast it's best to use one finger (or thumb) for different keys on the keyboard..👍🎹😎

    You're right. It's not rocket science. It's repeating the same thing over and over. C, 4th, 5th back to C, ... it gets fairly noisy a lot.

    • @bobesposito7235
      @bobesposito7235 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Good but no harm to you ..instead of using up so much time showing how fast you can play ..it would be better to slow down the right hand more and explain the right hand notes I got the first lick if you call it that but after that I was lost ..but thanks anyway ..
