Machine puzzles just have that perfection that 3d printed ones lack structurely. Off topic, can i email you my augmented reality game that I've been planning?
@@gobananas_az of course it is! This was just to mess with him a bit haha. I’ve been watching Chris’s puzzle videos for years and I’ve always noticed whenever he says “I’m not sure if you can see this” I’ve never been able to see it so I thought it would be funny lol
I don't think Ive understood a single one of the puzzle solves since pre-pandemic......see what?....pull where?..........shake huh?..... Heeeeey, its solved :) !................. Somehow............ 😝
I love seeing the machined puzzles. The 3D printed puzzles allow for a lot of creativity and many times cost friendly complicated puzzles. But the beauty in the craftmanship of a machined puzzle is only second (in my mind) to the hand carved/constructed wooden puzzles (not the laser cut ones). And Lego puzzles are a class all their own. But, with that being said, I love the Wednesday puzzle drop.
Being a machinist myself, I wish I could double like this video. That's some amazing work. Great work on all the differnt steps. Awesome puzzle to see solved.
Wow the amount of time and intelligence that had to go into this crazy puzzle must have been insane because I’ve never seen anything like this. So cool! 🙏🏽
Until your channel popped up in my feed, I may never would have known about the mind blowing puzzles you showcase and solve. Your puzzle solving skills are impressive, too. So fun to watch.
Oh man that sure looked like a frustrating puzzle solve, to say the least, and darn it man again with the no clock .... I can't be the only one that misses it... Keep it the awesome job CR!
I started watching these videos at 11pm.. I just looked at the time and it's now 3:23am.. I'm mesmerized. Hooked on your magic! Thanks for sharing your talent and time 👍💜👏
Wow, that puzzle is amazing. Looks awesome and I don't think I could solve it even if I had days to attempt it. It is also amazing how your minds works and thinks outside the box like that. You keep coming up with ideas on how to solve I would never had thought of. What a joy it was watching you solve it.
I love how each of your intro's tops the last - it shows a constant grind from you and your crew that is really inspiring 🤟. Such a stunning puzzle - both in aesthetics and difficulty. Great solve man 👊✌
I discovered this channel a couple of weeks ago and now I'm plowing through the massive backlog of videos. Love your puzzle solves chris It's really getting me inspired to try making a puzzle myself.

Very cool puzzle Chris. Keep them coming. I enjoy watching and yelling at the screen. I’m disabled and love the puzzles. They’re just outside of my budget since my injury.
Awesome solve. Can't wait for the future you puzzle to come out. Hopefully this year. I'm 62 years old now and would love to see it before I'm gone LoL!
Anybody else's heart skip a beat when pieces sort of just fall out? In the back of my mind its like 'uh-oh, putting it back together just got longer' sort of thing. Thank you Chris for your great content and the many hours you saved me from mental starvation :) Cheers from BC!
I am always incredibly impressed with your thought process, methodically thinking these puzzles through. This puzzle, as genius as it is, the machining and construction is just as, if not more mind blowing. My hats off to both you and the creator. Keep up the good work!
That was so awesome! If I ever wanted to make a fun channel for laughs I would want to do some sort of copycat site of this & see how long it would take me to solve. I’m scared to do so as Chris is so good at puzzles & I would be so sorely embarrassed & disappointed. Not sure I would ever do it, but for now I love watching this one! So fun to watch him solve the puzzles!
He put the top back on upside down… the hole the monkeys hand pushes into shouldn’t be visible. It’s also a shame the spinning mechanism revealed at the end wasn’t explained, it’s super cool and show that the first step most definitely wasn’t “just a magnet”.
As much as I love this channel and love seeing the ridiculously complex puzzles, it is wild to think you could buy 3 PS5's or this puzzle lol. Entertainment ain't cheap bby.
I cannot tell you have much I freaked out when he took the hand from the monkey to get the three rods, I just kept repeating “How is he actually this big 🧠” lol You actually insanely smart and I love your vids!
Genius how? He brute forces everything, fails to explain intricate mechanisms (first step most definitely isn’t just a magnet), then fails to put it back together properly by putting the top on upside down. =\
I’m definitely a bigger fan of machined puzzles. There’s just something more beautiful about the finishes. I dislike the price but that’s just the cost of something unique. I’ll just have to earn more money to one day get one but that’s the dream ☺️ I’d personally love to get that chalice puzzle you did I love things like that and would love to have those kind of things in my home or space
I really want to see you solve one of the Hunt A Killer puzzles 😍 I've only done one myself and I loved it. I didnt even have to subscribe to them because they sell the puzzles at Target! I just want to see how you solve it and figure out all the clues because it was definitely a hard one for me and I got the medium difficulty. Anyways as always love your videos and content 🥰🥰🥰
Question: Chris were you one of those kids that took your Mom’s toaster apart and couldn’t put it back together again? Obviously as a adult you’ve learned to put things back together 🙃
3D printed allow for 100% creativity as long as The Maker is able to control the machine to the extent of their imagination. With machined stuff, you're even more walled in by ability aaand resources. A 5k mill won't spit out what a 50k one does and patience is a wise councilor for a machinist. IMO, a 3D printed (in metal) puzzle is the ultimate form of puzzle, because then you're able to literally print your mind out. As processes come down in price of production and more and more people are able to use 3D printing machinery, i expect some truly ludicrous puzzles to come out. We've yet to enter the golden age of puzzles, is basically what i'm saying.
It’s always kind of a bummer when you spend a bunch of money on a puzzle and you decipher it quickly. But I really enjoyed this one and the craftsmanship and thought behind it was amazing! Seemed like a challenging little puzzle no doubt. This one I think was worth the money!
I don't know if this has been done before but I think it would be cool to see like a week or maybe like a Christmas 25 days of puzzles but they are all random puzzles that are unboxed that day so it's your first time seeing the puzzle completely? Also loving the videos keep up the amazing work!
man, even when the instruction states that no force is required to solve this puzzle , your first go to solution is to shake it about 😁. We must be at least grateful to the fact you dont start using your own tools.. 😂 Btw when I'm not knit picking, i really enjoy your videos . Thanks.
awesome puzzle for sure, idk if you noticed but you put the circle piece on the top backwards so the little hole you put the hand in is on the top and not underneath. :)
You did a well puzzle a while back and got stuck at the end, and you promised us a part 2 with the solution. I never saw it. Did you do a follow up and I just missed it?
Loved the video! One day, I'm kinda hoping to hear one of your videos begin with "This is the Lock Picking Lawyer. Today I'm here with Chris Ramsay..."
The machining was very impressive on this one but I really don't like puzzles with tiny parts that can fall off the table and be lost in a vent or something. But it's still inspiring.
Is there a maze inside the upper compartment, or are they just milling marks which weren’t polished out? BTW: this puzzle was so cool I watched the video 3x.
Chris says, "out" Hubby and I, "Owwt" lol We're literally only 6 hours away from the Canadian border and it always makes us laugh to hear that accent. Truthfully people think ours is funny too because we say "Wicked" all the time.
I think the ball bearings were just a distraction. They didn’t really play any kind of role. It was just a matter of lining up to notches where were the ball bearings going nowhere. Awesome video really enjoyed it thanks
They do, both bars are spring loaded and you only have one magnet to pull them with, the bearings make it possible to pull one out to the correct amount and keep it there (by blocking its return) so you can pull the other at same time. Both need to be correctly aligned for the top pin to pull out. I have the puzzle 😉 Also, the last part was solved by shaking (accident) there is a more deliberate method which involves aligning the bearings so they can be seen through the little holes before flipping the whole thing over (I did it this way)
God I love metal puzzles like this. And wooden ones… And high-tech puzzles (like the “future me” series). Side note… perhaps puzzle makers could introduce a testing mode, to ensure all the bits and pieces are all where they should be. Someone like St. Antoine (or some other saintly friend) could run the test program/procedure as part of the uncrating/setup of the puzzle. Thoughts, Chris? Or anyone?
3D Printed or Machine Puzzles?
Machine Puzzles 💥
Machine puzzles just have that perfection that 3d printed ones lack structurely. Off topic, can i email you my augmented reality game that I've been planning?
Machined. Definitely. No argument if something gets removed. Printed can be a bit "was this supposed to come out?"
Machine, no doubt about it.
I think there is valve in both it’s whatever I just enjoy the process of tryin to solve along with you
"This thing here, if you pull it and turn it, it can turn and it can pull". So elegant and so precise as always Chris.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chris every time you say "I don't know if you can see in there" we can, in fact, not see in there
Lol..so true😆

Words of wisdom to live by.
My question is, what kind of brain creates the mechanics behind these puzzles........? amazing, thanks Chris
Right?? So cool!
When you were pushing ‘bananas’ into the holes, I thought “never send this guy shopping for fruit!”.

I haven't the slightest idea why, but tattooed hands are more entertaining to watch fudangle contraptions than plain hands.
