I think it would be really cool if you did fallout 4 without leaving good neighbour. There's quite a few quests you can do without leaving, including breaking into old warehouses and killing trigger men.
Yeah man Maryland is pretty much fallout without the nuclear radiation, you got your shit water because the shit plant that treats your shit water is literally flowing into the Chesapeake, did i mention the crabs? It seems you missed the same one thing I did in my first playthrough: Ruzka the wonder bear. You can see posters of it in the loading screens and the bear actually exists. Its lair is kind of hidden north of the sacred bog, it's the biggest Yao Guai in the game and it has a giant red ball.
I actually saw a video TKsMantis did on this bear after the 2nd out of 3 days of recording. We ran around the island for 4 hours decimating everything but never ran into the bear sadly. I didn't want anyone to reveal the location either so I could happen upon it randomly
That and there's the lighthouse. Both the Lightbulb and Ruzka sadly glitched just out of reach for me in my playthrough, so I ended up moving on slightly bummed out about it. Still Point Lookout remains a fun DLC, one that will be remembered.
I really did enjoy it. I don't think I'm as high on it as many other fans, but it's certainly one of my favorite DLCs. Was so fun to go in with very little knowledge!
I have to comment: Calvert does not blow up the mansion, Desmond does, which is why he's in a little bunker basement. The mansion exploding is his "failsafe" he mentions the first time you help him fight off the tribals.

Great video. Fun fact. The swamp folk enemies have enchantments on their weapons that mean each attack does a guaranteed 35 damage per hit, ignoring all Damage Resistance. The shotgun swampfolk are incredibly lethal in particular. Surprised you didn’t go get Ghoul Ecology! Unpatched that perk give 5% damage bonus to everything! Not just Ghouls!

There was soooooo much exploration and I absolutely loved helping defend the mansion and remember later being shocked that it got blown up. I was very sad when the missionary got killed later on. Fallout 3 is amazing.
So, apparently Bethesda gave the swampfolk and tribals a +35 damage to any weapon they use, it is also damage that ignores your resistance. But there is more, when they use the shotgun it gives that +35 damage to every pellet. Meaning if you get hit by all 9 pellets, it does the total damage is 315 plus the weapon's base damage. (Note: I am not 100% on this, as it has been some time since I saw the video that talked about this)

I'm almost certain someone asked this, but have you ever considered doing one of these challenges for Enderal? Like never leaving Arc? It's kind of an elder scrolls game in a way
Yeah, this DLC... no matter your stats, no matter what guns you get there. You put a full magazine of AK rounds into a dude's head, but he'll still attack you like it's just a scratch... I (accidentally) did the same challenge with Old World Blues. I was a level 2 character, with no guns, just the very beginning of playing. Then I clicked on something and I found myself at Big Mountain. I died like a billion times there and took me sooo long to get out of that DLC. It was pure horror...
Just because I don’t see another comment about this so far (sorry if there is & I missed it), I looked it up and Desmond absolutely has the same voice actor as Jiub! I love that you noticed that too because (as someone who’s never had the chance to play Morrowind but loves a good Joov or young scrolls vid) I immediately had the same thought. Anyway, as always your videos are a treat to watch! It’s been a long week and I’m pretty sure I caught a cold so this is a great pick-me-up!
I wanna watch this video so bad but I haven’t played point look out before and don’t want to spoil it since it’s some of the only fresh fallout content I have left
I went to Point Lookout at max level, with 10 in all stats and 100 in all skills. And it still was a pain in the ass unless i was cheezing all the enemies from stealth.
Just recently discovered you Joov but your content is top tier. Definitely the best fallout streamer/TH-camr. It's good to have someone cover my favourite ever game series in a new and exciting way that makes me wanna replay every single one of them all over again. Been binging all of the VOD's hoping I can catch a steam one day to say hi but our timezones are not friends 🤣 keep up the good work and best of luck to you 😼
Your character had enough nose for both you and Desmond. The shot at 20:48 looked like you could fit nicely into his face like a plug and a power outlet.
Fallout 4 without leaving far harbor is great, when the dlc first came out that's pretty much what I did for a while. Some of the settlements are great to build in, and with mods you can make the settlement attacks pretty spooky and fun. Can't wait to see it, and can't wait to watch this one
29:30 Not sure if you know and just didn't do it because of the challenge, but the Dunwich building in base Fallout 3 actually provides a way to destroy the evil book. If you take it to an obilisk in the depths of the Dunwich Building, the book will burst into flames, and you'll get some good karma and exp as a reward. Also the Ghoul Ecology perk you get from the ghoul hunt sidequest is bugged. It gives you a +5 damage bonus against everything, not just ghouls.
Fuuuuuuk literally 6:30am in Scotland and av been up drinking all night playing fifa...ready for bed and this pops up and now... am tuned in slabber on my pillow as a save point. Superb man... 😍
I just found your channel after searching a bunch of stuff about fallout and so far, you're the only youtube I can keep watching and enjoying. I love your humor, how you edit, and how you overall play each game. Oh, and how you made sh*t harder on yourself because who wouldn't?
Jeff Baker heard "gravel voice" and went "oh yeah, i can do that" so yes, he is Jiub and other dark elves. This and Far Harbor are odd but fun DLC. Same with Old World Blues.
Thank you, I spent so much time on FO3 when it was new. You are taking me back to my hayday of gaming in HS. Soooo many mods. So many PC upgrades. Good times. Broken steel was my favorite. But it was like the Sims I was just looking forward to each new expansion to add new gear and stuff for my different playthroughs.
I've been calling Madam Panada Mad Empanada (in Spanish has a lil more sense because what an empanada is) since day one, i'm so glad you made that joke. Also the "counterpoint" had me rolling. I loved this video.
technically speaking, fallout 1 features two dungeon exits in the intro. the first is when you exit the vault in the opening cutscene, and the second is when you leave the caves in front of the vault door
As someone who lives in Maryland and was extremely excited to play Point Lookout, this is definitely an accurate representation of the Maryland panhandle.
Point Lookout is probably the best location in Fallout, even more than The Pitt. Not my favorite location, Big MT has that award, but it's still amazing. I can't wait for Far Harbor.
@@Joov completely understandable, new versions of TTW change a lot. Look forward to seeing what comes next from "Fallout 3 without leaving _", Mothership Zeta could be a tough one.

Then I clicked on something and I found myself at Big Mountain. I died like a billion times there and took me sooo long to get out of that DLC. It was pure horror...
I played and finished this dlc for the first time yesterday. Im happy I can finally understand stuff without spoilers
Been binging all of the VOD's hoping I can catch a steam one day to say hi but our timezones are not friends 🤣 keep up the good work and best of luck to you 😼
I loved point lookout it was one of the best DLC’s and the PIT was god tier too. Fallout 3 had the best DLCs out of all the fallouts
Point lookout, far harbor, and Big Mt, are the 3 best dlc’s
Your character had enough nose for both you and Desmond.
The shot at 20:48 looked like you could fit nicely into his face like a plug and a power outlet.
Fallout 4 without leaving far harbor is great, when the dlc first came out that's pretty much what I did for a while. Some of the settlements are great to build in, and with mods you can make the settlement attacks pretty spooky and fun. Can't wait to see it, and can't wait to watch this one
bro took a whole ahh year to make the far harbor video 💀🙏
22:56 Slig Action from Abe's Odyssey starts playing and I immediately get flashbacks xD
"Here boy, Get em" xD
Ah shit , didn't knew they made a DLC about Conway , South Carolina
“Two dungeon exits” alright, that got me
Jeff Baker heard "gravel voice" and went "oh yeah, i can do that" so yes, he is Jiub and other dark elves. This and Far Harbor are odd but fun DLC. Same with Old World Blues.
20:47 I like how Jedediah cover main weakness of Desmond at least twice as needed for good measure
Dude, the world at war zombies lobby screen music fucking killed it for me 5:28
So fun fact the guy who voiced Desmond Jeff Baker also voiced the male Dunmer (and Haskill and Dagoth Ur)
"Tobar, you make a fine case. As a Counterpoint" (BANG)
had had me in tears lmao
technically speaking, fallout 1 features two dungeon exits in the intro. the first is when you exit the vault in the opening cutscene, and the second is when you leave the caves in front of the vault door
One thing you missed is at the bottom of the map if you have a shovel you can dig up dirt mounds and get a neat reward
There’s a few things I cut toward the end, we did find that little treasure though on stream!
I just finished point lookout for th3 second time in fallout 4(some mad lad recreated the entire dlc as a mod) so this video is dope
At 29:56 when she says "you'll never guess who it was" an ad about GLS appeared to me, i guess i'll get an answer via a parcel in a working week.
As someone who lives in Maryland and was extremely excited to play Point Lookout, this is definitely an accurate representation of the Maryland panhandle.
Looking forward to the Far harbour, just take down that enraged fog crawler and your set.
Seeing these videos come out always brightens my day as I know it will always be hilarious. Love your content and can't wait to see Markarth finally
1:22 That was hilarious. I never noticed how big that kid's forehead was.😂
Hailey boosting too 100 Repair is actually a little known bug that can be easily exploited for mega cheap repairs
Point Lookout is probably the best location in Fallout, even more than The Pitt. Not my favorite location, Big MT has that award, but it's still amazing. I can't wait for Far Harbor.
the red dead background music really adds to the atmosphere, thanks joov
That Battlefield music was very unexpected and very epic.
Every time I forget how bad bethesda writing is you come along with one of these amazing videos and remind me
Desmonds VA actually did the morrowind dark elf voices. Never made the connection before lol
Most amazing thing in this video is that you did this in Fallout 3 on a modern machine instead of just using Tale of Two Wastelands 👀
I’ve still yet to try TTW! I like doing these videos as vanilla as I can, jank iron sights zoom and all
@@Joov completely understandable, new versions of TTW change a lot.
Look forward to seeing what comes next from "Fallout 3 without leaving _", Mothership Zeta could be a tough one.
I don't know if anybody has told him but Desmond is voiced by Jeff Baker who voiced Jiub and Dagoth Ur as well as Sheogorath Merhunes Dagon and male dunmer and imperials in Morrowind and returned as Saint Jiub in Skyrim: Dawnguard.
The use of the Battlefield Theme is great
Btw you were right on the money, Desmond is voiced by Jeff Baker, who also voiced Jiub.
Fun fact, desmond actually is Jiub. Same voice actor
I meant to shout out Jeff Baker and forgot to add it in post :/ - great voice actor!
@@Joov 100%, an industry legend
I wanna know what they put in the water in Point Lookout to make the locals more durable than titanium
Flintstones Vitamin Gummies
these videos are always so interesting because you're really good at being creative to find solutions. love your videos Joov!
I love the choice of music at the end. The bf5 theme is awesome
As soon as I saw part of the video was called “Circular family tree” I knew we were in for a show
There is a lot of good stuff on sunken ships and under buoys. Some shipwrecks are unmarked too, I remember there is one unmarked in south-west corner
Giving the Krivbeknih to some random merchant with a heart of gold is the perfect Coen brother approved ending
I pulled an all nighter to beat Point Lookout literally last night, this has to be the strangest timing on a video I've ever seen lmao
14:48 LMAO
Even with all the previous jokes about it, that "fetcher" still caught me off guard.
Fun fact all the tribals and swamp folk do extra unblockable damage in this dlc. No armor or skills negate it at all.
4:56 thats the same music that plays in rdr2 when you get drunk with lenny
