I’ve been following Taj since he was 9. I’m old enough to be his great grandmother, but I follow because I’m a huge blues fan. I continue to be in awe of his amazing talent. Got tickets to see him at The City Winery, NYC on June 2. Front row seats! Can’t wait!!
He's likely to be the talk of the town now. Struttin' in with an entourage, looking like a million bucks and delivering the goods big time! Multiple performances. And a lot of us watched this all unfold several years ago. It's wonderful to see. Keep going Maestro.

I would be glancing over at Timmons mastery too, but you can see him listening to your every move,& note your playing too,we can only imagine how good you will be, when you get his age,but it was great to see, the mutual respect you both have for each other.

Hello Taj, I'm old enough to be Taj great grandma too, he plays songs that make me remines hen I was a kittle girl back in the 50's visiting my Grandpa's farm on summer vacations, listening to the blues the car enroute there with my parents. My mother's baby sister was a prodigy there where they had a grand piano with teenage cousins in a big white plantation house in Alabama we'd have talent shows after family dinner. When Taj plays, I can smell the pine trees, the wind, the red winding dirt roads that lead to the farm house just before day. I commented once that Taj should move to America, to come home to where the blues was born, he plays like he's been here before. Love You Taj ! 😊🥰❤💋
He is moving to America, he said that when we saw him in concert in Linden, Texas! He is awesome!

Who is Andy Timmons? He's one of the most melodic, lyrical guitar players ever to play. He's fully capable of shredding with the best, and does so often, but he never loses the melody and lyricism while doing so. When Andy let's it rip, it's never just some cheap trick. It's always in service of the music. He's incredibly humble and positive as well. If you're not careful, his playing might just make you cry. So glad to see Taj get a chance to hang with him.
