Thank you for your kind words. Glad you liked it. It’s only taken me 5 years to get round to editing it! Hehe. Yeah, I miss the HSTs too. For me they are the best train ever designed, developed and built in this country.
Agreed. I think travelled on the replacement IETs is now an endurance test! But the HST wouldn’t last for ever of course, but you would think they would be replaced by an equivalent or more comfortable train.
@alanlmsca yes the HST is a great train but it's over 50 years old they won't allow slam door MK3 coaches anymore I don't get why they can't modify them take some MK4 coaches adjust the ETH system and it's compatibile.

If LNER kept the HSTs operating on the Highland Chieftain that would be so much better
