When it comes to the Every Animal Zoo, I could definitely see the Coquerel's sifaka being housed with the lemurs, the markhor being housed in the takin temple and the Hamadryas baboon being housed in the elephant roundabout. When it comes to the African spur-thighed tortoise, I could see them either being housed in the Saharan hoofstock paddock, being housed on its own or you could move the Dama gazelle into the enclosure that you make for the tortoise.
Loved it as always! Will you do the new African leopard as well? Maybe even a total ranking of all animals considering this ""might"" be the last pack, if it's not too much 😅
The thought to go back and do them all is looming 😂 It will be a heap of work though, to analyse as deep as I've done for the DLC packs. It's also going to need a video format change as it'd be 5 hours long to cover them all!
😂 Indeed! At least they're only having 1 offspring and their lifespan is quite long, so not running through a cycle quite as quickly but yes, if you fill the habitat with a lot to start off with, you're ending up with LOADS
In the wild, sure they share their watering holes with plenty other animals. However, in a zoo I feel like elephants would find it fun to bother another animal in their enclosure
food cost is unrelated to the appeal of an animal, wolves being a prime example of this with an absolutely atrocious feed cost to appeal ratio. I suspect the difference in the cost between the goats and the tortoises doesn't come from the hay, or quantity, but that the tortoises includes fresh fruits and veggies, which are more expensive as they need to be bought in small quantities very often, while instead the goats have root veggies and salt licks. Root veggies tend to not spoil as quickly as fresh vegetables or fruit, and therefore can be bought in bulk less often for a discounted price. Think yourself at the grocery store how much a 4.5kg sack of potatoes costs, then look at the price of a head of romaine lettuce and imagine what 4.5kg of that would cost. Also of note, the cats costing $50 per feed, your cats don't cost $50 to feed because you feed them every day. The animals in this zoo, food gets put in the enclosure every few months or so, so, that's actually pretty conservative for 2 months worth of wet cat food!
Very true! I did question in my head that the animals in PZ get fed every few months compared to IRL. How the chickens cost so little in that case is a mystery to me!
@@PlasticSwans *TL;DR:* A chicken's calorie intake is much lower compared to both other animals of their "size" and other birds in nature that can fly. Hence the cheap feed. TFB, chickens and by extension, most other "flighted" birds (chickens have only partially lost the ability to fly) are very, very small inside. Most of their bulk is taken up by their featheres layered over a lightweight, mostly hollow skeleton. It's only the chickens we force feed unconscionable amounts of processed, high-glucose feeds to fatten them up beyond anything they could ever achieve in nature within just the first year of their lives who've got that much "meat" on them. Beyond that, BECAUSE chickens do not need to maintain the muscle scructure necessary to fly , or escape predators in the case of a zoo (I would hope!!!) their energy needs are even lower than a bird that CAN fly, and that actually _uses_ and _needs_ those flight muscles. *TL;DR:* A chicken's calorie intake is much lower compared to both other animals of their "size" and other birds in nature that can fly. Elephant roundabout! Love it 😂 I'm thinking move the tortoise and dama gazelle into their own new space.
@@PlasticSwansbut the dik dik near the bongo or okapi
You forgot the zoboomafoo ranking where the sifaka gets 15 extra points because zoboomafoo was a sifaka.
😂
VERY important!!
Nice video as always. I’m excited to see these guys added to your every animal zoo!
Yep...last push to get it finished off!!
I’ve downloaded your New starter habitats for the zookeepper pack and african leopard. They all look amazing as always😊
Glad you like them!
Excellent breakdown! Thanks! 🦦
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@PlasticSwans Right that does sound pretty unrealistic lol. I'd definitely still watch the full thing though 🙉
My local zoo has Dik Dik's, they are really cute. I probably will include these in my zoos.
Not sure I've seen one IRL! Wasn't aware they were 'that' small
@@PlasticSwansif you're from the states some zoos with dik diks include Kansas City, Topeka, Maryland, and San Diego
I love the rating videos there so fun
Thanks!
I heard the baboon stats and went "oh no, it's another capybara"

Love the video ❤😊

Request: 100 Baby challenge for every pack after Wetlands. I am sure there are more animals that can hit 100
I'm sure there's loads more now! I would need to do one from scratch though to make it fair
@@PlasticSwans Maybe you can do one for every pack after Wetlands as separate videos
I like it, but it begs the question, what is your opinion when the African Elephant has an inter species with another species?

wow they nailed the little cute face on those dik diks
They did! The mannerisms they've modelled are really charming
Tort Team ain't winning today... I'm not too hopeful.
But hey, maybe they'll make it in the end.
Huge win for Goat Gang this time around
Yes, before heading in I thought they'd win breeding hands down!
Is it on console?
It will be! Console releases are coming every few months and are bundled, so I'm sure this isn't too long to wait
