Nice detective work. I do have to say it would seem relatively straightforward to apply some fallback state for a guest that means they despawn or something if they've been repeating the same action for X amount of time
I'm sure they'll be on it soon enough! The glitch getting out of the pools feels new to me. Spawning back at the entrance seems to happen a lot for other bugs so would be an ok fix for everything if needed IMO.
Your previous videos was the reason I didn't buy the game at that point, even though I really reallly want it. But I tend to get really angry when games I pay a lot of money for are unplayable, so I've completely stopped pre-ordering games - because they are NEVER finished on release and ALWAYS filled with bugs, and I'm just so over it. I makes me so angry when a fully released game act like it's an early access or demo game. At least if it's an early access game, you know and are prepared for game bugs, and are helping the game devs making the game better. A fully released and "finished" game, should not have that many bugs. I'm sorry, but they shouldn't. So I am so happy for videos like this, where I can keep up with games I'd really like to get, but are still buggy. I will get this, eventually, if they fix most of the annoying bugs. No game is completely bug free, but again, released games, should not be like beta testing or early access games. They should be on a completely different level.
I feel like many releases are like this these days, it's no longer a priority to QA everything. Maybe we should expect better quality, but if everything is like this, it's starting to feel like the norm
Please remember its not the developers, its the publishers. I dont know a single developer who sleeps well at night knowing he had to rush his code and release a buggy product. Publishers are non technical and just want to release ASAP. Developers want to create and fix. If they've fixed a lot of bugs already, then NOW I have trust in them. It would've been a different story if they didn't fix any issues in all this time, but this restored my faith in them.
Im still having guests suddenly not recognizing my paths and waving at me to save them as though they are stuck, despite being in the middle of a pathway. Had it happen at the base of a flume, causing a mass of guests there, and also they all kept getting hit by more guests coming off the flume. It was a shallow water exit, think splash pad
Oh yeah, I still get that a lot. There's still some quirks with the new pathing. If you look at paths with the multiselect tool, it shows you a crazy-paving kind of jigsaw, and I think sometimes guests are getting stuck on this between sections. Still getting random notifications of guests being stuck and not able to leave too, but doesn't let you click on the notification to show you where they're stuck.
The concrete swim team is giving me Sims pool vibes! I'm still having problems with my coaster queues getting stuck and I had thought it might be related to priority queues, but now I'm going to check my water park areas for stuck guests and see if that's the cause.
Interesting! I had so many issues with guests stuck in queues before the update. Now I've re-built this 'challenge park' about 10 times, everything is pretty much the same (just re-built after the update) and I let it run for 6 whole days to make sure there was enough time for any bugs to show up, but it's all worked without problems
Seems there is definitely an issue with guests path finding. Even after all the updates, I still have error notifications saying guests can’t find park entrance/exit.
Yep I still get that notification every so often. I think it's triggered sometimes when a guest is waiting to regroup after visiting the water park, just frustrates me that 90% of the time it doesn't let you click on the 'find them' icon on the notification, so you can't even check what's up
In this test park, I had 3 mechanics per Staff Zone, with around 8 serviceable items in each (rides, coasters, generators) and they had no problem covering everything. Could probably drop down to 2 (so covering breaks)
Very helpful. I really appreciate these troubleshooting videos. Do you know how the game mechanism for ride servicing vs refurbishment works? I'm pretty sure with refurbishment, the ride closes for the repair. For a routine servicing, like when the service badge expires, I don't think the ride has to close, but does the mechanic service it while guests are on it or does the queue get paused between ride sessions? With the multiple capacity tube slides, I do wish they would have a setting like the other rides to allow it to be sent on its way at less than full capacity. That would help keep things moving and running much smoother. Unless it's a really tiny park, staff zones are a must. I've tried doing detailed assignments, but it's not nearly as effective unless combined with zones. Very tedious to do, but keeps things running much smoother. It seems I'm still getting some notifications of dirty toilettes that need cleaning. I've not tested anything, but seems they are too slow to respond/stay on top of this. It also seems the toilettes cleanliness degrades too fast after it's cleaned. I had instances of calling for emergency janitor, toilette gets cleaned, pops up to 100% cleanliness, and the QUICKLY degrades back down to dirty levels over several seconds as you sit there and watch, with only a few guests having entered since it was cleaned.
For a routine service the mechanic meddles with the panel on the ride operator's hut when guests are on the ride after it's run before they exit. Interestingly, I did note on occasion guests would sometimes freeze in place on the ride platform whilst mechanic did their thing, then they'd disappear and be teleported to the entrance. That may be the band-aid fix for the problem of the rides running whilst guests are stuck on the platform. If so, I much prefer that than having to constantly close/open the ride to set them free. I've never noticed toilets getting dirty, but it's exactly the same with the luxury meter. It degrades super quickly after guests have visited a shop. Jumps to 100% and is back to 0% by the time the guests have queued and got through their next ride.
That's really bad! I've heard of others crashing out for random reasons. I think it must be linked to certain rides or actions. I've not had a game crash in months!
What still annoys me extremely hard is that I can't set the key bindings for rotating freely and rotating 90 degrees because it keeps asking to swap them. I have to use different keys to rotate, it sucks. Anyone else having this problem? Also the multiselect tool, wtf, why do you have toconfirm your selction, it's idiotic. Keep it together frontier, if they don't make ik playable I will ask for refumd and not play this game again
Think I've just got used to how the controls work now. I did rebind so that space bar switches between rotations, but it's never asked me to swap them back.
the patches are focus on the flumes instead of the coasters.. after the last patch update I made a coaster that is all green.. Yet no one rides it and the pathing is abysmal.. and bugged..
That's not good! Is it a new save or is this happening on builds pre-update? I will check out one of my old saves and see if it's happening on that for me
Thank you for the update Swans. You always do a superb job detailing and I hope they rectify some of these soon
The guest grouping thing is really interesting and opens up an idea for a future feature. Meeting zones, and walkie talkies in the shops.

Really nice update vid Swan! Thank you buddy!
You're welcome :)
Thank you!!

If you like coaster games it’s worth it. I got 200 hours in PC2 already and play it daily.

There’s still quite a few glitches. Game crashed when using elements.
I still love the game. I play everyday and just work around the headaches

FINALLY!!! so happy its working maybe i'll pop into a franchise park now! good overview 🔥🔥
So, here is a Q: how many attractions per mechanic?
In this test park, I had 3 mechanics per Staff Zone, with around 8 serviceable items in each (rides, coasters, generators) and they had no problem covering everything. Could probably drop down to 2 (so covering breaks)
If greed was a glitch, then the glitches are still here :)

The gift shops are annoying. My prices are cut in half and no one buys anything.
Honestly I don't think prices are a problem, I think the game is just bugged in terms of how/when guests visit them!
Unfortunately my game keeps crashing randomly. Its crashing so much I cant even play it for more than 10 minutes today.
That's really bad! I've heard of others crashing out for random reasons. I think it must be linked to certain rides or actions. I've not had a game crash in months!
things you love to see!
ever since hotfix 3 my sandbox park is unplayable :( the auto save crashes my game
Ooh that's not good! How big is the park? I wonder if size is a problem for it.
@@PlasticSwans all I have is main street , parking , 2 hotels , and a backstage area I have 0 rides and only a few slides
Still getting bugs

@@PlasticSwans its a brand new save. just seems to happen with the rollercoasters
Im finding most guest glitches still present. 😢
That sucks! Not sure what's going on since mine is still working really well!
how much is frontier paying you lol everyone is complaining and for you everything works fine ... i find it hard to believe
Nowt! I like to be entirely neutral. When something doesn't work I'm talking about it. When it does work I want to point that out too!
