A friend completed this years ago during coop. I think we died about 9 times total. However we save scummed back then and every few missions would copy our save to a usb and just reload from there if we died 😂
Dead space 3 gets really fun when you’ve created 2 of the most op guns that could probably kill the boss from the first game in 3 seconds flat, it’s a massive power trip honestly, however it’s not even close to dead space anymore, it’s barely a survival horror because it’s impossible to run out of ammo I swear.
Snam i dont know how you dare. Balancing TH-cam, streaming, a full time job, a relationship and trying to maintain a social life, and you have the gall to release a 30 min video every 3 weeks? Despicable😊

But the fact that you just take a game and then beat a challenge that people been struggling with forever is crazy. Great editing, keep the content entertaining through all 40 minutes, quality ass gameplay. All around, you deserve a round of applause. Very underrated, keep it up sir. GREAT. WORK! After playing the game for over a year and completely imprinting everything in my memory about it I gave this achievement a shot because I simply had nothing more to do on it. Died once to the fan and about 5 times toward the end when you're flying through the debris but then I finally managed it. It took me about a week on my old 360 but it wasn't that big of a deal honestly, mainly because enemies aren't strong enough to match up against DS3 broken weapons so I literally had to watch out for obstacles only 😂 It's been a decade since this happened, so thanks for the nostalgia shot.
That sounds about right, it’s really the insta kill stuff that’s the worst. Especially since it can just wipe out 6 hours of progress with no warning haha
@@Snamwiches yeah I struggled with the final chapter's flying debris part, for some reason my mind could easily keep track of every single rocket launcher wielding enemy but not some rock pattern. Hey Snam, I don't know if you take requests, but there's a horror game that I saw back in 2020 that didn't get much coverage after it was fully released and I definitely haven't seen anyone 100% it. It's called VISAGE. A psychological horror game, created by a small studio of a dozen or so friends that just wanted to create a dope new horror game. It definitely gives off silent hill/P.T. vibes. It has amazing visuals, phenomenal sound, and one of the best atmosphere's in a horror game I've ever experienced. It would be dope to see someone 100% it. I'll tell you now though, It's more of a collecti-thon than anything. Still an experience to be enjoyed non-the-less. and I know that that would pop off. "100% the world's scariest game" That is a CLICKER. Anyways, even if you don't. I still appreciate the consideration. If you're wandering what the game looks like you can look up Markipliers stream of the Early Access Version, Which was still phenomenal and mark and his fans made the stream Absolutely Hilarious. We will never forget "BEER" 2020. Much Love, Peace Out! B.T.W. There's No Difficulty Setting
Just started playing dead space 3 in coop with my friend, it's amazing... No, seriously it's so much fun having a buddy around, BUT i tried it alone and it's clearly built for coop in mind, too much enemies, too fast and i can't stand the crafting system and weapon system... Give it a shot if you are a diehard dead space fan like me (just bought an Isaac Clarke statue yesterday) and you have another diehard ds fan friend too (bro just watched hours of ds lore videos lmao)
I watch maybe 5-10 channels on here pretty regularly. Saw your video and chose to watch this over them all lol. Your content is so basic in concept but executed so well in practice. You also have an amazing sense of humor and seem like you would be great to play with. Cheers buddy. Keep it up.
i like how he doesn't rage when dying, and just has a good laugh about it, there's just something about this that just makes the experience fun even for the viewer who isn't even playing the game
I know a lot of people shit on this game (which is valid) but I personally had a ton of fun playing this back on the 360 days, definitely better in co-op though
I was able to do this in one playthrough but I have had many hours into it. Plus studying this before. There's the obvious insta deaths to worry about but it is possible to cheese your way through the combat. By the time you get out into Space in the middle of Chapter 4, you have all the tools necessary to break the combat. So, after getting access to the Sk1P, go to the Brosluv. We are going to go to a floating broken part of a ship with a 6 or 9 on it. You can see it when you get out of the SK1P. There's a nest on the way there, so evade it or kill it. There's windows around it, shoot it out and there's a Precision Tip. This will be the Tip necessary to break the games difficulty. Then, going to the side mission Rossilov, you can find a +1 Damage circuit and materials to make another. Find yourself a bench and first dismantle the SMG. You want the Military Engine. Slap that onto a Heavy Frame with the Precision Tip. This creates the Seeker Rifle. With +2 Damage in upgrades, it will one shot EVERY NON BOSS/ENHANCED Necromorph in the game. Dismantle the Plasma Cutter and place the Plasma Core on the bottom tool with no Tip and you get a Force Gun. Slap an Ammo Box that let's you skip every other reload, and you've got a gun that will last you til like, chapter 13. Then, when you find +2 damage and ROF, replace the Military Engine with a Plasma Core and you have a Contact Beam. Then your second tool can focus on a Machine like tool, for when bullets matter more than damage, with an explosive, with the attachment that protects yourself from self harm, and you're set for combat. All in all, it's easy to break the combat. Then it just relies on map knowledge and what kind of combat encounters you are gonna have to deal with. I'd not recommend this unless you're studied up and think you can achieve this easily. Failure leads to losing upwards of 10 hours, unlike DS2s Hardcore which can lose you only about 2 hours.
This game felt like reverse survival horror with how over-powered those guns can get -- 😨Until you hear Exploders do that "NYAAH" like the start of the Lion King, and you know Mr. One Shot is running at you
Most hilarious thing is in the beginning when you encounter that highway: WHY IS THERE A STASIS RECHARGER? lore-wise any kid with a stasis module could create a fatal mass-crash in seconds
Also, I'm pretty sure I did it w/ the plasma cutter. My buddy used one weapon that came w/ the Witness pack. On pc I've been using the same weapon to make my life easier.
This is a really fun game, I am going to try this on single player with all the side missions (including disposal services, a really bad run ender if you're not careful).
Depends, does co-op immediately kill you if one dies, or does it let you resurrect someone? Because if it's the ladder, that'd probably make this easier. Cause double the op guns
I’ve done all the achievements on every Dead Space game. One of my favorite series! I think I’m like one of 2 total people I’ve ever seen who liked DS3 lol.

I give you props my man. I love the entire franchise of dead space. Co-op for DS3 is actually really enjoyable and I believe the DLC is actually the canon ending to the game. Both are better played in co-op of course. Plus all the side quests that are opened up for co-op are fun too.
An Idea for a challenge: Playing nightmare on Alan Wake Xbox 360 version. Without focusing the flash light. (Don’t worry I have already tested it is indeed possible find the hidden boxes, follow the yellow arrows until you come upon a torch symbol).
Congrats, dude. One thing I would've suggested to make hardcore easier would've been to get the Intimid8r first, and then focus on getting the Pitch Black. The former is just as powerful, but also is much more accurate, making it great for mid to long-range combat. Its shotgun is also good in case an enemy gets too close. It's just easier than trying to rely on a plasma cutter for range.
Snamwiches always talking about which sections are infamous for certain runs while also doing a majority of them blind with no research is a really good bit
So basically your "best weapon in the game" is a sevirely nerfed down Evangelizer carbine, which is the best weapon in the game until you unlock the Horns. Cool.
all i can remember about this achievement is the fact that all i ever used was the plasma cutter and the force gun, mainly to deal with small enemies and i managed to do it first time, it was tame compared to impossible but it was still stressful, also, circuits are your best friend in 3.
I have made this achievement back when I was 15, one month after game-release and I can remember that my first permadeath-run ended on the absolute last flight before the final boss of the entire game. I started questioning my whole existence afther that. But at least back in the days I didn't had to care about "wasting" a saturday like that

I remember that I tried to complete hardcore mode on Dead space 3 when I was in high school. I got to the snow section and got in an elevator to the underground section, where Isaac proceeded to suddenly enter a falling animation, then, ten seconds later, dropped dead. I never attempted hardcore mode again.
This guy is one of those people you know you'd like as a friend! Smart and funny I always look forward to his videos! He's the only channel I have notifications for 🖖
The weapons I always used is pulse rifle top and force gun bottom with fire mod. Just a great weapon overall for necromorphs but you will use quite a lot of ammo. The second gun I run is seeker rifle top with shotgun bottom with stasis mod, this is for humans mostly as a point and shoot and for big aliens. Stasis mod doesn't really do anything on single shot weapons but nothing's more satisfying than watching enemies split apart in slow motion, in that sense it's also a quick indicator that the enemy died. The shotgun bottom is for humans that gets up close real quick, one shot to the legs and they're done.
I hated this achievement so hard. I first attempted it when I was 18 and I literally got to the last 5 chapters and died to a glitch/collision bug when scaling the ice wall section and it made me gib, I rage quit instantly and never touched it again. Until a few years ago, (20 years old) I attempted it again and beat it. I am now a proud owner of every dead space hardest achievements in the franchise. Something I will always wear proudly.
I remember getting this trophy on PS3 back when it came out, it was definitely miserable. Died in some of the same parts you did as well. So I salute you for getting this absolute choir of an achievement.
I will say, that Dead Space 3 Solo is definitely... a game. The Coop tho, now that's a banger, the stupid combos and shit me and my friend were doing and figuring out were absolute gold.
Handcannon revolver with underslung flamethrower with an electric round attachment and some damage, magazine and rate of fire mods. Is the best weapon in the game. All necros are weak to fire as a tribute to the thing. The electric attachment electrifies rounds and the flamethrower which causes any enemy it touches to stop. The smaller flamethrower is more efficient than the big one for some reason. For hectic battles assault rifle with underslung shot gun with electric attachment and some damage, magazine and relode parks will do well.
I am currently replaying the Dead Space series. Currently on dead space 3. Love seeing Snamwiches play through because it helps me with the anxiety of it all. Haha Side note. Don't know why I've found myself watching a guy I have never seen before, playing games I'll likely not get around to. Doing the hard runs, but without the ego attached. I'm on my sixth or so video, I like the vibe, not all rage inducing, controller smashing. More, aww crap...again!
I gotta say this because I'm still kinda mad about it. So that boss that eats you at the end of the fight took me at least 5 full attempts because I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GET EATEN! I thought it was an instant kill and I had to avoid it so I reloaded checkpoint at least like 6 times just because I thought I had died!
Just wanted to say the Rockwell death helped heal me out a spiritual level. I gave up this challenge after dying to the invisible part of the swinging gondola.
A little tip. In these games every time you reload certain guns, you throw away the rest of the clip. It doesn’t go back into your reserves like most shooters.

A friend completed this years ago during coop. I think we died about 9 times total. However we save scummed back then and every few missions would copy our save to a usb and just reload from there if we died 😂
What id like to see you try is Dead Space Remake on Impossible while also doing plasma cutter only. Now that. That was a fun challenge
Dead Space 3, where the hardest challenge is not the hardest mode, but not dying from boredom
You say that but I've honestly had the most fun playing Dead Space 3 out of the first one or the second one.
@@chancedavis6216 Are you more of shooter or Survival horror fan? Cause if you're a shooter fan then maybe, but it's not the same as the other two
Dead space 3 gets really fun when you’ve created 2 of the most op guns that could probably kill the boss from the first game in 3 seconds flat, it’s a massive power trip honestly, however it’s not even close to dead space anymore, it’s barely a survival horror because it’s impossible to run out of ammo I swear.
It's really fun with a friend
Youre just making shit up now, the story of this game is the worst I've ever seen but the gunplay is absolutely not boring
Snam i dont know how you dare. Balancing TH-cam, streaming, a full time job, a relationship and trying to maintain a social life, and you have the gall to release a 30 min video every 3 weeks? Despicable😊
Snammy, you did it! Congratulations for surviving DS3!
He should try to do the same thing but with DS3 (dark souls 3)
He should try to do the same thing but with DS3 (dark souls 3)
you survived a mediocre game, the horror.
How do you beat every game you play? Having a chat chugging you along has got to help by tons lmfao. This guy is a LEGEND! But the fact that you just take a game and then beat a challenge that people been struggling with forever is crazy.
Great editing, keep the content entertaining through all 40 minutes, quality ass gameplay. All around, you deserve a round of applause. Very underrated, keep it up sir. GREAT. WORK! (on all your work!)
I witnessed Snam’s attempts with the ice wall. I’m surprised he still kept sane after trying this achievement
I remember the ice wall well lol
You described it very well. I love permadeath runs because while it's upsetting to have to restart, knowing that you get better and learn more with every single playthrough you go through really gives you a sense of satisfaction.
Coop is very recommended for this game because it adds a lot about the characters and the overall enjoyment
I wish we saw more of they attempted - different viewing experiences based on the players and player centric hallucinations
I just recently was able to play Dead Space 1, 2, and 3 again and after beating 1's hardest difficulty and Hard to the Core for the first time, I felt ready for 3. I was so wrong. Couldn't even get past the Rosetta section without dying. Congrats Snam
Just watching this recap gave me anxiety. I can’t imagine doing it myself. You are a monster, Snam.
i like to say that Environmental hazards come in three types: Deadly, Dangerous, and Dreary.
Deadly are the instakill types.
and "Dreary" are the types that are impossible without the right hard-to-find "key" items.
You‘re built different fr, I would launch myself into the sun if I tried to get this achievement again :‘)
yeaa I don't know how he does it. I don't have such mental resilance to possibly losing 10 hours of time on every single try. that is truly impressive!!!
@@matrixfull right??? I died at the last boss during a Hollow Knight achievement run and didn‘t touch the game for a week 💀 I do not have Snam‘s mental fortitude at ALL
@@Milenaiguess awww mannn that really feels badddd !!! wait you came back for achivement after a week? holly okay! big respecttt!! but fr I wish I had Snam's fortitude! holy no wonder why he's engineer!!! He just won't take no as an answer. If he wanna do something he'll just do it, no matter how long it takes! He's actually doing really good not even needing thaaaaaaat many tries!
@@matrixfull I had to do an entire new run for that achievement 🥲 it took me so many tries but I can imagine it‘s a lot more fun when you have an entire chat full of cool people to talk to as well
Tbh now that I have it I’m probably never touching this game again 💀
After playing the game for over a year and completely imprinting everything in my memory about it I gave this achievement a shot because I simply had nothing more to do on it.
Died once to the fan and about 5 times toward the end when you're flying through the debris but then I finally managed it. It took me about a week on my old 360 but it wasn't that big of a deal honestly, mainly because enemies aren't strong enough to match up against DS3 broken weapons so I literally had to watch out for obstacles only 😂
It's been a decade since this happened, so thanks for the nostalgia shot.
Dying to a debris field 20 minutes away from being done 5 times was PAINFUL. 2 weeks of sweaty nerding thrown in the bin but I go it in the end and it was joyful. I don't think I launched DS3 ever since 👀
0:22 me when the McDonalds Icecream machine isnt working
I love every video dude.the fact that you can laugh at dying after 8 hours is awesome
Sometimes I feel like the only person who actually loves Dead Space 3.
Don’t worry
You’re not alone
Definitely not alone.
I liked it
I love dead space 3 too I just miss the shop
I watch maybe 5-10 channels on here pretty regularly. Saw your video and chose to watch this over them all lol. Your content is so basic in concept but executed so well in practice. You also have an amazing sense of humor and seem like you would be great to play with. Cheers buddy. Keep it up.
Love seeing the steady rise of snam. Hope he gets the recognition he deserves!
hey, fun tidbit about the mines thing, Shockpoint jumps are canonically near-random, with only minimal guidance because it's barely controllable.
Whats with Dead Space and having insta kill environments haha. SO STRESSFUL. Great Vid dude!
Ayyy Tanner love your vids man ❤ can't wait for a new upload
@@suzuyajuuzou4389 ♥️
THATS WHAT I’M SAYING
i like how he doesn't rage when dying, and just has a good laugh about it, there's just something about this that just makes the experience fun even for the viewer who isn't even playing the game
I'm going to make a prediction. The rock climbing... I got a bad feeling about that.
Got my Dead Space 3 platinum last year. After the second playthrough, the game became fun. The one shot sniper was my favorite weapon.
There are ways to make it easier with save backups and it's not such a miserable time with a friend in coop which is how I got it back in the day.
I guess he didn't want to save scum, and no gamer has friends (less ones that would play this game specifically)
@@ABlueThing Then those aren't really friends then, for true friends should always share in ones misery.
@@Sevent77 You do make a good point
This game felt like reverse survival horror with how over-powered those guns can get -- 😨Until you hear Exploders do that "NYAAH" like the start of the Lion King, and you know Mr. One Shot is running at you
You should try doing fear and hunger! I think you’ll enjoy it.
OMG i finally got this achievement today! Watching this video inspired me to keep going & it paid off! Thank you so much Snam! 🏆
This is a man of sheer commitment. Or crazy, depending on how you see it 😂
Most hilarious thing is in the beginning when you encounter that highway: WHY IS THERE A STASIS RECHARGER? lore-wise any kid with a stasis module could create a fatal mass-crash in seconds
My friend and I are on our second run-through on getting all the trophies. We both pltainumed on PS3, currently working on PC
Imagine trying to do this coop
Depends, does co-op immediately kill you if one dies, or does it let you resurrect someone?
Because if it's the ladder, that'd probably make this easier.
Cause double the op guns
@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguar 37:45 double the enemies too
I’ve done all the achievements on every Dead Space game. One of my favorite series! I think I’m like one of 2 total people I’ve ever seen who liked DS3 lol.
I'll be honest the fact Dead Space remake wasn't even being mentioned for GOTY is an insult to gamers everywhere, that's probably the best horror game that's ever came out, period.
remakes/remasters should be barred from most awards
@@superubergoober you're a clown
@@superubergooberwith the amount of remasters, there should be a best remake award and that’s what they would deserve. They really shouldn’t be mentioned on the same page as games built from the ground
bro, i had so much fun in this achievment, i see we labeled similar sections as high chance run killers. I thought my big run killers would be chasing the cube, inside the nexus, and the ice walls. Love the vid man
WHY NO DEATH COUNTER????????😢😢😢😡😡😡😡
I give you props my man. I love the entire franchise of dead space. Co-op for DS3 is actually really enjoyable and I believe the DLC is actually the canon ending to the game. Both are better played in co-op of course. Plus all the side quests that are opened up for co-op are fun too.
Glad to see you back!
God, I laughed my arse off at that rock part. Sorry that you lost there, though. Still, love the playthrough!
An Idea for a challenge: Playing nightmare on Alan Wake Xbox 360 version. Without focusing the flash light. (Don’t worry I have already tested it is indeed possible find the hidden boxes, follow the yellow arrows until you come upon a torch symbol).
god I hated that wall, some of the most RANDOM ways to die from things you had no control over
Love the dragon xemnas music from kh2 for the ice wall sequence.
Been watching this guy for a while and I still dont understand how his jaw isn't constantly sore from how much this man smiles
This was absolutely insane.! Great job Snam.! It was great to be a part of the journey..
Snamwiches always talking about which sections are infamous for certain runs while also doing a majority of them blind with no research is a really good bit
The achievement is called "Aren't You thankful?" Because you're glad you don't have to play that again
But at least back in the days I didn't had to care about "wasting" a saturday like that
You popped up on my recommended with your Outlast Energiser achievement video - I was looking for something to watch while I clean the kitchen quickly before bed. Anyway… 5 videos later, the kitchen is not clean, it’s 3:30AM and I’ve had to subscribe and go to bed 😂
I love the structure of your content, and your editing style, it’s kept me engaged for literal hours 😅
Thank you! Hopefully you get the cleaning done in the morning though lol
Yay a snam upload!! You quickly became one of my favorite TH-camrs last year found you around April can’t wait to see what this year holds
I discovered your channel a few days ago and have binged just about every video that you've uploaded. I shit you not, your uploads excite me more than summoningsalt's, who prior to me discovering your channel, was my favourite creator. That being said, congratulations on this run dude!
He's the only channel I have notifications for 🖖
Finally, an achievement hunter who doesn’t just quit the game forever when it gets difficult. Nice job
Yessir! Glad to have joined the club
I remember getting this trophy on PS3 back when it came out, it was definitely miserable. Died in some of the same parts you did as well. So I salute you for getting this absolute choir of an achievement.
You too dude 🫡
I don't always leave comments, but when I do, its for amazing content creators. Keep up the fantastic work you marvel!
Thank you for doing the challenge. I laughed my ass off because it took me two runs, and I died in the same place as you with the Rocket Man.
Haha
Side note. You call fhe scorpion dudes "dog creatures" in dead space 1&2 but they are 100% scorpion like. Even the curled tail stinger. Leave the puppers alone. 😊
Another masterpiece, no surprises there! I'm glad I got to see most of this live, keep on keeping on Snamantha!
Lol the end walkthrough peek is absolutely what I would have done if I had gotten to that point! Great job Snam!
tommy tallarico spent 5 years hand in hand with Michael Jackson to craft the soundtrack for this game. His mother is very proud
Damn you that joke referencing Wemby at 23:10 was brilliant! Well done!
Don't know why I've found myself watching a guy I have never seen before, playing games I'll likely not get around to. Doing the hard runs, but without the ego attached. I'm on my sixth or so video, I like the vibe, not all rage inducing, controller smashing. More, aww crap...again!
I honestly have the biggest respect for this youtuber for trying his hardest on hours without end and not getting mad when they die.😮
I prefer more difficult game modes but with checkpints so much more than permadeath modes but hey, good job for the achievement! It was fun to watch.
I discovered you like, yesterday, and I love your videos ! You’re funny and skilled (and have a lot of patience lol), congrats for all your achievements, I look forward the next videos ! :)
You should Black Border every map in btd6 (beat all of them on all difficulties). I did this a while back I had so much fun doing it.
