Like she said, I have learnt that friendships dissolve. And I have made peace with it. I used to fight for relationships, and then realised I am always fighting alone. Even if this person has been so good to me, I must realise that the relationship has come to the end of the road. I'm always sad but I keep the good memories and move on.
The Spiritual aspect is everything to me because everything begins in Spiritual realm before it's manifested in the physical. The way I quote Zechariah 2:5 regularly upon me and my descendants and family so that anything or anyone with a negative agenda will sense it and won't try😅. Thank you Ladies. Talking besties, I have had the same besties since my S2 in 2007. We may not talk very often, could even take a month, but when we do,it's the 5hour phone call Bev skke about. The other is my sister, shez also my friend, and it's beautiful, our talk is always detailed, we could be at it till day break. I have had seasonal close friends, but like you said it evolves, and devolves.
I think categorizing friends should be the solution to hiked expectations and levels of vulnerability. We can also embrace functional relationships where we connect with people for different things at a time or seasons in our lives.

Ladies, I love the topic, I can relate with each of you. I really value friendship 100%. From childhood to now, that is a part of my life I am so intentional about. My friends have to organically like me and I them. I believe in reciprocity, I am not a groupie, tried it and it did not work later on. Just like consent should be continuous happiness, the same should be true for friendship. By the grace of God, my friendships have been mostly enriching and when they were not, I had to change that and end some. The funny thing is some Christians are not practicing Christianity, their belief system and value system are like night and day, and they do not apply the Godly and Bible principles. Yet some people are not of the Christian faith but they have good values and practice their principles of integrity, love, morals, etc. This is why people talk of toxic situations, etc. Let us pick better people. Friendship should be maturity. Go where you are loved and appreciated. Manuela that part, that part, divine friendships that God has assigned.
