The devs routinely features Max Orido's Ridox, Nob Taniguchi's Kei Office S15 and alot more IRL private owned cars throughout the titles.

The TXRD series became my favorite racing game series more than a decade after it originally released (I never had a PS2) I just remember coming across the opening cinematics on TH-cam and falling absolutely in love! Sad to see no remasters or further games, but glad to see it finally get some recognition!
TXR Drift 2 is burned into my PCSX2. Its a weird and suprisingly challenging game. The car selection is huge and unique but some drift races are unbeatable since you only get one try and some time trials need multiple attempts and a fully dialed car to beat. Drift trials are hard since the cars slide is hard to control and the touges are narrow. The game also suprisees with dirt patches or bad weather. Also the game gives you millions of Yen but stuff also costs alot, worth thinking about before sinking all the money in a new car. I still have a fully dialed CRX in my garage since its light and nimble :) Sadly many bigger japanese cars feel caged on the tiny touge streets, a blend between touge- and highway races would be the best :)
A good trick to farm money is the gymkhana events, especially in the later stages. Doing the second event in stage 3 with all sponsors available at that point nets you like 800 000 per run and it takes less than 15 secs to do one

After watching your stream on this I just love the world building in this in regards to the BBS and the story overall, really makes the world feel alive in a way. Props to you and your editor Sharicite for pushing this video out, this was amazing to watch!

Im actually mad at myself for skipping out on this game long ago, I admit the score scared me off long ago when I saw it out but now I need to find a copy and play this THIS is the reasons why I pay little attention to scores unless it's actually a bad game
TXR Drift 2 has the absolute best video game intro ever. The animation quality still impresses me today and it was a freaking intro for some niche PS2 game. Song is a 11/10 match too
The one thing I’ve found for people who don’t know is to do a quick practice run on the selected corse during night time because you can tell what surface’s are dirt or not
first time i saw someone say something about the hitbox in this game, can't put into numbers the amount of times i lost points in CA races because of the hitbox, sometime you can clearly see that the car is not even touching the wall but the hitbox is
My main gripe with the game is the vague progression requirements and some opponents having conditions that I have no clue what they even are. I checked a walkthrough for one and it still ended up being wrong. Never properly beaten the game because of that. Seem to be Rival 320. I met all of the conditions, had the doll for the stormy weather on a 4th week's Sunday night aaaand nothing. Left and re-entered the PA and nothing. I have never seen this guy appear. The game's still great, but wish it didn't have such specific demands for progression rivals, especially when those requirements don't even seem to work always. Anyway, Drift 2 is still probably the best racing game in the TXR franchise. TXR Zero has a ridiculous level of speed but it can get a little repetitive, and one of the wanderer requirements can become impossible if you don't know about it early enough. TXR 3 has probably the best customization in the series, you can genuinely plan up ahead what car you will prioritize on your playthrough so you can unlock engine swaps as early as possible, though the handling model is a bit poor and the international release of the game cannot be completed without a gameshark. TXR 2 has rather great visuals and a very interesting progression system due to how the money is balanced, but it has some absolute Dreamcast jank and design decisions they overlooked that can make it feel like a very amateurish product at times.
You have to try Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix next, another hidden gem doomed by the lack of localization. If TXR:D2 is a Touge simulator then C1 would be a weekly trackday/ Time attack simulator by Genki.
C1GP could've been a more enjoyable game had it not been for the garage limit of 3 cars and that bizarre "sub-garage" which soured the whole experience.
@@cordyzank3625 well that's subjective based on where you're from. The devs intended it to be a "carlife" sim, just like how car enthusiast would partake in the car culture with limited resource well after the japanese economic bubble burst. Parking is charged according to three classes as the dimensions of your car increase the rates will follow too. To curb the emmision outputs, if you own a car within the 23 Tokyo metropolitan wards, you will get charged double the parking, "Shaken"and insurance if you own more than one car, Your average japanese usually could not survive owning more then one car let alone being forced to revert their car back to street-legal spec every two years for the inspection. So what many enthusiast would do was to front a storage/warehouse rental somewhere near the circuit itself with their fellow car guy friends and store their parts and track cars( without registration/or registered under the R/"tuned" category if you have the license to run a tuning workshop) there, while themselves dailying some kei/compact car or Creative Movers within the city limits. I think Understanding the implication of this aspect behind the culture will greatly increase the immersion for your playthrough. Because unlike the 90's where the youth didn't realize the grim reality of the state of Japanese economy was in, They kept spending without consideration throughout the 90's, they view car culture as a social activity back then where as in the 2000's the signs of recession has finally set in, the participation of car culture is a luxury itself. marking the decline of JDM car culture.
The best game and story i've erver played, well i'm still playing it, the fact that we have to do certain things to race other rivals, it made me search a guide, to go through the this game and finish it xD
I discovered this game about 2 years ago when I bought a refurbished ps2 and rummaged through my dad's old ps2 games. Eventually I managed to legally emulate the game and my ps2 and have done a full playthrough. Since then I've bought txr3 and txr0, I beat 3 and realized that about 3 years ago I bought import tuner challenge for the xbox 360 (which is pretty much the same concept as other txr games). The handling is difficult to get used to and kinda bad in literally every genki game, but man do I love em. They filled the wangan midnight sized hole in my heart since the only arcade with it nearby is pretty far away. If you're a jdm fan then you'll pretty much love these games. Would also like to mention how I completely cheated the cat events by abusing save states, pretty much after every drift zone I would pause the game and make a save state just so that I didn't have to do the event over and over again. If I had to recommend another genki game it would either be txr0 or txr3, txr3 has better visuals and more maps to choose from, txr3 also has really good visual customization with full carbon bodies, over fenders, bumpers, hoods, side skirts, the whole shabang. txr3 will even let you change headlight and taillight colors along with eyelids too. txr0 is essentially the original txr dreamcast game, but with more cars and different menus.
The constant switchbacks on Nikko were my fav, especially with the autumn mountainside look with all the orange trees. There was one racer that stopped my progress, a high gambler on one of the two snowy mountains that drove a blue impreza and hosted a CAT challenge that I couldn't beat. That was years ago and I haven't tried to beat it since, especially since I lost my physical copy... :(
You should make a video on Touge 3/Touge-R (an OG Xbox exclusive half-port) if you haven't already, it's the closest you can get to a dedicated touge racing game as Initial D Arcade Stage but with more realistic physics.
Aw yeah, my favorite game outside of Need for Speed and ACE COMBAT on the PS2, i love this game so much and i actually havent beat it completely yet, im so happy you gave it a try
In Assetto Corsa, there is a multiplayer community called Touge Life which features famous touge in Japan, I race there almost everyday and there are plenty of people race there too! With steering wheel, pedals, and shifter, it feels so wholesome to be able to experience touge racing as realistic as possible!
You may or may not know that spoilers and canards add downforce because it's only written in the games manual, you have to have physical copy to know this And you forgot to tell us about the initial d references and Easter eggs takumi, bunta and rotary brothers are literally in the game. fun fact if you named yourself in the game as one of initial d characters like takumi you will get bonus money You also forgot that the opponents have different behaviors like some times when you go pass them they will turn their lights off and try to blind attack you (the 2 takumi's in the game do that, yes their are 2 takumi's one with the carbon fiber hood at Hakone mountain and one with the normal hood at Haruna), others will flash their headlights, some of them try to slam you into the walls, others will be scared if you are close to them and will give you the space to let you pass them and others (like the final R34 GTR boss at Hakone) when you are in front and you block them they slam on the brakes because they don't want to hit you (but they hit walls 😂)
the initial d references and easter eggs I thought most would pick up on their own since the game is focused on touge and as for the opponent behaviors I didn't notice since I didn't look back too much during the battles, thanks for pointing these extra things out 👍
During the rivals profile compilation on the first cut, there was the fake Hakone Takumi added but it made the section too long and wasn't really fitting with the rest of the selection being the maidenless peeps
@@Sharicite The real Takumi, well some people said wannabe Takumi was "Lightning Shift" And her name is Takuya, plus he appeared in previous game (Appear in Street Supremacy, aka TXR for PSP)
I played TXRD2 on a wheel when I was younger and it is still my favorite driving game ever. Being able to drive the D1GP cars on real touge courses was simply sublime
TXRD2 is literally my whole childhood. I still play it emulated on my pc to this day. They have a bunch of beautiful sponsor cars with those iconic liveries. Game was ahead of it’s time for sure.
Best game I’ve ever played, I wish car games were this passionate about vehicles and the car scene in general. In this games tuning, bbs posts and driver descriptions, more racing games need 2 implement world building
I happily watch each and every review that pops up on this game, because I have such a little spot in my heart for it. Found it at a game and movie rental store wayyyy back in the day, and I remember the first time I played, the handling model and gameplay made me upset since it was a lot more demanding. But I ended up renting it again... and then subsequently buying it. Everything about this game is just comfy yet still challenging to this very day. The intro still makes my hair stand up on end.
Oh you need to play TXR3 its got 3 different levels a TON of cars and customization, probably my favorite one beware you'll be spending a LONG time completing it and it is bugged on one rival but still so much fun!
Oh I love this game! Spent so many hours playing it, switching cars, tuning them, checking the PA, and so many other things to do. The drift parts were tough as heck though
Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 is a game with literally THE worst title ever. It is a third game in the series, Drifting isn't the focus, the racing is quite grounded and realistic and you only get near Tokyo on one track (Yokohama short course)
My issue with the TXR series is having to keep track of all the wanderers and rivals that require you to do certain tasks before being able to challenge them. It's hard to keep track of all the BBS clues in the Kaido spin-offs. And there's no clues at all in the main series.
A few misses in this video, some others may have pointed it out. Nr 1: Category races and medals, these are absolutely KEY to progressing, you need the medals to get some medalists to race you. If you do not have enough, that medalist will not appear and your progression is halted, and to get some of these medals, skipping the ones in category races is not optional! Nr 2: The rival car borrowing system, this semi ties into nr 1, as you there are medal awarding category races that REQUIRES you to use and drive a rival car to complete it. You cannot enter the race with anything else, some of these are battles, and some of these are drift races, so ideally you should have some rival cars that are usable for both.
On the first Racedriver GRID there was a really cool touge races category. Combined with the mindblowing physics of the game of the time of the release it was truly spot on
Ah yes, my favorite racing game of all time. Especially since I’m an Initial D diehard. It’s not perfect, but the things they do good, they do really well. I agree with your few gripes with the game, like the wonky hitboxes, sponsors not being transferable between cars, the AI not being so great, etc. I’m glad this game is getting some love and attention. Fun Fact: On the JP version you can get the vinyls from the rivals you race (Including Slashers, 13D, K12) and put them on your cars. There’s also real-life part sponsors you can apply along with manufacturers tuning houses like Nismo or Mazdaspeed depending on the car. Furthermore, there’s two extra sets of wheels and an extra car being a Gemballa.
It was also called Kaido Racer in my country. I used to play this game at age 10 and damn i don't understand a thing, but somehow i manage beat all the slayers after all the grind. Once there was once a really good modified used NA car i got in the game, bought it, race with it, but there was a momentary blackout in my neighboorhood, and behold i forgot to save it after buying. I was crying silently in my room because i know i would never get to use that car again 😥
The “friend” mechanic is honestly kinda thin considering it only allows you to drive AI cars, but because humans will pack bond with anything, I still remember my first friend - Melon Grabber, in the teal EG6 Si hatch.
@@tokiomiller9896 2 and 3, yes. And then 3 Tuned. I was also able to play 4 and 4 Tuned as well... 4 had the H-gated gear shift and a clutch pedal. Heel and toe downshifts were fun!
I actually enjoyed the predecessor (Side by Side) rather than Battle Gear. But BG2 obviously the best one( in terms of physics) and the Initial D reference are strong(BG2 Bonus Cars are based on Initial D characters spec like 11K RPM Takumi's Trueno AE86, Mazdaspeed A-Spec Keisuke's RX-7 FD3S and Turbocharged Sakai's DC2 Integra)
For a nerd of racing anime/manga/games and racing in general, this game series is a GOLDMINE. There's not only Initial D and Wangan Midnight references of almost every character from the early seasons: There are also references to real life drivers, racing series, famous events, other manga/anime (shakotan boogie, over rev!, etc), movies, series... A bunch of driver profiles I can tell are also references that I don't get due to being very local Japanese things. Anyway, the game series is amazing, we need more games like this. There's some indie games floating around, but even the most promising don't seem they'll have this kind of charm. Closest one seems Night Runners which has a demo hopefully coming soon.
Woooooooooooo Honda City Turbo , I unironically love this little car lol So unfortunate that this game and series died and took the genre along with it
Genki really pour their thoughts on these games as love letter for those who like the scene especially Wangan and Touge racing are niche genre (on west) compared to something like Underground 1/street race genre that took the shock back in 2003 yet these games (TXR and TXRD) achieve cult status to those into the genre. What I like from TXR Drift spin off is the possibility to win the game with almost anything as Touge racing is more focusing on balance of the car instead of power tendency of highway racing especially on Wangan route. On these spin off you can beat Supra with Midget kei pickup car as long as you know how to tune them. Abandoned probably exaggerated since SEGA taking care of IDAS game and these genres never even big (on west?). The hard to swallow pill is there wont be any game like Genki quality for these genre, WMMT and IDAS arent same experience as these console games (not to mention Genki also made WMMT game before Namco took the right).
I owned all these games the last one I played was import tuner challenge I really wish someone would remake something like this I spent hours on hours playing these games absolutely loved them
I loved this game back in the day it was different, I just back into txr3 yesterday, that’s my favorite one idk if you have made videos on it but you should do a walkthrough or something on it
I remember playing it as Kaido Racer II or something like that at least a decade ago, only later to realize it's Tokyo Extreme Racer spin off. But nevertheless, it's such a good game to play, for all of the reasons you mentioned in review. I was heavily invested in Initial D so playing this game was "natural" so to speak. That was an interesting era in PS2 racing genres. You would have this, Racing Battle C1 Gran Prix, Battle Gear series, even Auto Modellista.. it's something I don't see these days. This review brought me back so thank you for that!
I have completed this game 100% (courses and rivals included) and no suprise here for all of you, I'm having such a wonderful time playing it! This game is highly recommended imo 👍👍
I love the intricacy of their game's system such as your nickname changes over time due to your playstyle, rival personality affecting how they drive or if they want to race you and so on... Unlike how straight forward Need for Speed and most other racing games are, Genki wants you to "prepare yourself" before meeting a certain opponent. Which in turn makes it feels more like playing a RPG with cars more than a mere racing game.
Another fantastic video, Dove. I'm hoping you make a video on Import Tuner Challenge at some point (another game made by Genki but this time it's on Xbox 360).
i like how diverse the car choice is in TXRD2 and the vibe and feel of the game are irreplaceable. Only if this game have a sequel with addition of modern cars and improved graphic i would definitely buy it.

I'm doing a 2nd playtrough rn on Kaido racer 2 (EU VERSION), the integra with a turbo for starter, then s13 as it's a good handling, then an evo 3 because of the construction and rain and right now also an nsx as it's a grip monster with racing tires Running the game on 120%speed as it's a 50fps (pal) game to run it at 60fps gives it more speed feeling and actually made me drive better
TXRD2 is just.. it’s one of my favorite racing games I’ve played. I have played the hell out of it on PCSX2 and still have yet to beat the game despite my 20 hours in on this game. And this isn’t because I’m bad at racing, it’s that I love reading about the characters, or challenging racers that I’ve already beat from the night races. I cannot highly recommend this game enough and if you have the chance to play TXRD2 do it
Touge is pretty much alive and kicking in Assetto Corsa. And that's the best touge experience we'll probably ever get, which is more than good enough for me!👌
as a kid i regret not having too much knowledge about them all, but i spent ton of time playing tokyo xtreme racer 2 not knowing it's a sequel to something lol... but i did play import tuner challenge on 360 later edit : my only hope is that someday they find that LOST song from the cool intro video of this game !
I boughtthe initial D game, and wangan midnight, in tokyo, to play on my Australian PS2 back in the day, and they were awesome! Wangan is definitely one you should do a vid on bro. Very similar to arcade, but more accessible in ways. Good fun. Never heard of this game before though, Thanks for this hidden gem!

@@purwantiallan5089Does Honoka Kousaka, Umi Sonoda and Eli Ayase love this series?
TXR Drift 2 has the absolute best video game intro ever. The animation quality still impresses me today and it was a freaking intro for some niche PS2 game. Song is a 11/10 match too
The one thing I’ve found for people who don’t know is to do a quick practice run on the selected corse during night time because you can tell what surface’s are dirt or not
Unless it’s hokido fuck hokido!!!
first time i saw someone say something about the hitbox in this game, can't put into numbers the amount of times i lost points in CA races because of the hitbox, sometime you can clearly see that the car is not even touching the wall but the hitbox is
TXRD2 is severely underrated. I played the hell out of it on my PS2 and still occasionally play it on PC emulation.
This is one of the most fun racing games I have ever played. I still play it to this day.
You have to try Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix next, another hidden gem doomed by the lack of localization. If TXR:D2 is a Touge simulator then C1 would be a weekly trackday/ Time attack simulator by Genki.
Yea I've gotten quite a few comments mentioning Racing Battle C1 so I might try it out at some point
There's one simple obstacle for you
The game is Full in Japanese
I was going to recommend this too.
Great work using Final Leg's LAN-EVO for the video cover 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Even it's underrated but Kaido Battle Series is still my jam and also the fan favourite game
Not enough people talk about this game! I spent so many hours on it as kid. Now returning to it as I know my favorite cars and everything is amazing
Txr0 and 3 are on my list aswell of games to try out👍
The constant switchbacks on Nikko were my fav, especially with the autumn mountainside look with all the orange trees. There was one racer that stopped my progress, a high gambler on one of the two snowy mountains that drove a blue impreza and hosted a CAT challenge that I couldn't beat. That was years ago and I haven't tried to beat it since, especially since I lost my physical copy... :(
TXRD2 is actually the 3rd game in the Kaido Battle series, KB1 was only localized in the US, while KB2 only received a European english release.
You should make a video on Touge 3/Touge-R (an OG Xbox exclusive half-port) if you haven't already, it's the closest you can get to a dedicated touge racing game as Initial D Arcade Stage but with more realistic physics.
wtf TH-cam is telling me that the game is called "USATO PS2 PLAYSTATION 2 Kaido Pass Of Legend 00196 Dal Giappone" WTF TH-cam? what is this?
the original name of this game is "Kaido Battle : Touge no Densetsu" . name "tokyo xtreme racer " is just classical american creativity iq
Aw yeah, my favorite game outside of Need for Speed and ACE COMBAT on the PS2, i love this game so much and i actually havent beat it completely yet, im so happy you gave it a try
I still to this day do Touge runs in GRID (2008) blasting down the hill in a V10 Viper, slithering around the corners like a true snake, shit is fun
I'd like to thank you, DustinEden, Kuru, Pantha, and countless others for all your effort on making racing games better.
In Assetto Corsa, there is a multiplayer community called Touge Life which features famous touge in Japan, I race there almost everyday and there are plenty of people race there too! With steering wheel, pedals, and shifter, it feels so wholesome to be able to experience touge racing as realistic as possible!
This game sounds awesome. I'll start looking for a copy now.
I can't help but think how much of it would have been dlc if it released 10 years later.
You may or may not know that spoilers and canards add downforce because it's only written in the games manual, you have to have physical copy to know this
And you forgot to tell us about the initial d references and Easter eggs takumi, bunta and rotary brothers are literally in the game. fun fact if you named yourself in the game as one of initial d characters like takumi you will get bonus money
You also forgot that the opponents have different behaviors like some times when you go pass them they will turn their lights off and try to blind attack you (the 2 takumi's in the game do that, yes their are 2 takumi's one with the carbon fiber hood at Hakone mountain and one with the normal hood at Haruna), others will flash their headlights, some of them try to slam you into the walls, others will be scared if you are close to them and will give you the space to let you pass them and others (like the final R34 GTR boss at Hakone) when you are in front and you block them they slam on the brakes because they don't want to hit you (but they hit walls 😂)
the initial d references and easter eggs I thought most would pick up on their own since the game is focused on touge and as for the opponent behaviors I didn't notice since I didn't look back too much during the battles, thanks for pointing these extra things out 👍
During the rivals profile compilation on the first cut, there was the fake Hakone Takumi added but it made the section too long and wasn't really fitting with the rest of the selection being the maidenless peeps
@@Sharicite The real Takumi, well some people said wannabe Takumi was "Lightning Shift" And her name is Takuya, plus he appeared in previous game
(Appear in Street Supremacy, aka TXR for PSP)
@@Sharicite the Hakone takumi (second takumi) is named as lightning shift (don't remember what his real in game was but it spells like the anime one)
Yea I plan on visiting TXR3 in the future 100%
ive been looking for this game for so long i remember playing it as a kid but couldn't find it for the longest
It's a shame we will probably never see another one of these games.
This game always feels like such a fever dream each time I think about it but brings such a good memory every time I see it pop up
YELL IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE AT THE BACK
Oh I love this game! Spent so many hours playing it, switching cars, tuning them, checking the PA, and so many other things to do. The drift parts were tough as heck though
Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 is a game with literally THE worst title ever.
It is a third game in the series, Drifting isn't the focus, the racing is quite grounded and realistic and you only get near Tokyo on one track (Yokohama short course)
fr
I wish they would remaster these games for modern consoles
Taito's Battle Gear... Damn, I miss that one alot in the arcades.
You ever try 2 & 3? They’re amazing.
This game brings me so many memories, I had it BEFORE GT4 and i played until the disk no longer worked
7:30 I didnt know that selelcting specific brand parts makes more power, Thanks for that tip :)
the game tells you this
For a nerd of racing anime/manga/games and racing in general, this game series is a GOLDMINE.
Closest one seems Night Runners which has a demo hopefully coming soon.
i love it whenever you do documentaries about this type of games
Woooooooooooo Honda City Turbo , I unironically love this little car lol
So unfortunate that this game and series died and took the genre along with it
"Emotional Damage King" - dustineden
I owned all these games the last one I played was import tuner challenge I really wish someone would remake something like this I spent hours on hours playing these games absolutely loved them
Man I loved this game I wish they’d come out with a updated one
Japan location set is abandoned genre in racing games
I loved this game back in the day it was different, I just back into txr3 yesterday, that’s my favorite one idk if you have made videos on it but you should do a walkthrough or something on it
I'm yet to play TXR3, have that and TXR0 to play
@@DoVe_7 please do I love your content btw keep it and thanks for replying your one of my favorite TH-camrs
OHHHH MY GOOOOD. I remember playing this game as a kid and having no idea how the hell to play it, I was always playing Gran Turismo 3 or this
Need more reviews of niche racing games.
Great video!
Man I love seeing videos even with the slight mention of TXRD2. Such a slept on game.
The name changes based on your driving skills, your style of driving, etc... It's really interesing
damn it, there is no ps3 version of this game series
Kaido Battle 3(TXRD2) was such a banger, man.
I loved it sooo much.
I remember playing so much of this as a kid BUT I DIDN'T Realize there's a Rally Epilogue!
I never gave up! Hashiriya FiveM is still being updated and has loads of touge content!
Another fantastic video, Dove. I'm hoping you make a video on Import Tuner Challenge at some point (another game made by Genki but this time it's on Xbox 360).
yea me and my editor are working on that aswell
Currently playing through this on my channel!
Its genuinely one of the all time racing game greats!
Started playing in 2007 and never quit. I've played every one of them except the Dreamcast version (this includes the PS1 version)
Someone gotta put all those drift 2 maps on Assetto Corsa.
i like how diverse the car choice is in TXRD2 and the vibe and feel of the game are irreplaceable.
Only if this game have a sequel with addition of modern cars and improved graphic i would definitely buy it.
Bought a Japanese PS2 Slim just to play this back in the day, then 2 yrs later it comes out to USA -_- Menu music just brought me back to those times almost 20 yrs ago.....good times
I had this game on this PS2. One of the most difficult racing games I've played.
Man, remember when racing games had variety? Ahhh those were good times. Now another racing franchise disappears every year I feel.
i miss when games ad creative ui's like this , when a game has a diff ui even if the controls are different from everything else it doesnt feel bad
Oh my god.
I think I remember playing Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift 2 as a kid.
I most certainly recognize that UI.
Ive been searching for this shit for years.
The Starter Cars can carry you as far as your skills can.
The Honda City Turbo definitely carried me at the start for hours

The title system is based on your driving style, if you crash alot it will reflect. Same if you you drive safely .
I'm doing a 2nd playtrough rn on Kaido racer 2 (EU VERSION), the integra with a turbo for starter, then s13 as it's a good handling, then an evo 3 because of the construction and rain and right now also an nsx as it's a grip monster with racing tires
Running the game on 120%speed as it's a 50fps (pal) game to run it at 60fps gives it more speed feeling and actually made me drive better
@12:46 Because a Toyota Alphard Royal Lounge is pretty luxurious and darn expensive.
And that's the best touge experience we'll probably ever get, which is more than good enough for me!👌
as a kid i regret not having too much knowledge about them all, but i spent ton of time playing tokyo xtreme racer 2 not knowing it's a sequel to something lol... but i did play import tuner challenge on 360 later
edit : my only hope is that someday they find that LOST song from the cool intro video of this game !
The cars i beat the game with - Starlet Turbo, Mazda 6, GTO( 3000Gt ), and finaly the Evo8 MR.
