However I really don’t appreciate FT’s business practices like this, it is no secret that FT likes to do the same thing to Xtransbot, and now FT also did DS dirty while having a heap of unfinished products…not cool. I still got my DS blaster though, love it, and I hope DS can do Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet next.
It looks good. The face seems a little off to me, idk what it is though. Lol 😂 think I'm gonna wait the 5 years for the FT blaster. That way he can go with Accoustic Wave. Great job as always TMReviews!
Thanks for this review. I love how DS' very clean and toon-accurate approach to DS-01was also applied to this DS-02. However, the FT version's face is just so darn immaculate that I am having difficulty commiting to DS-02 at the moment.

I have DS-01 and it is highly possible to get some chipping during transformation but I really enjoy this figure and I guess I will enjoy Blaster as well -still thinking of buying it.
Nice review. I put the tape upside down from the way you had it and I could get it out with the spring gimmick . But yes a perfect fit. Copies may vary.
I think, too, that this is the best Blaster figure ever released - and it might also be the best that ever will be released. I am really surprised how relatively simple the transformation is, and yet it took _this_ _long_ for some company to actually create a cartoon accurate Blaster figure. I wonder why.

What is the plastic quality like on this Guy? You mentioned it's fully painted and good build quality, but for some reason it still looks kinda cheap looking... like an up-scaled legends figure.
@@TMReviews I didn't see that in your review or skull faces. What broke? Can you show this so I don't break mine? I've done it several times without issue but I did have to open the back and push it out. One of the legs did fall off of ramhorn however it was easily pushed back in.

The legs are a bit too Skinny and that makes the boom box look a bit off, smallish Speakers. The torso needs to be a bit broader, and the buttons are to close to the tape Door. I don't like it as much as the Seekers. KFC looks better to me, but ofcourse we know the Faults with that Blaster.
Congrats to DS for making a solid figure with impressive engineering. But he just seems so... plain. It's not just the flat colors. You can tell the face is Blaster, but otherwise the face seems so lifeless. Maybe part of it is I feel like it''s somewhat lacking in detail? I have the KFC Blaster... He's been in storage for years. From what I can remember, he looks the part, but he just never felt like like a masterpiece figure to me.
Mine literally came in today. It’s alright a bit disappointed but I feel like I get disappointed with anything that’s not Fanstoys. Call me a fanboy but FT got their figures down to a science
What bothers me about DS Blaster, is the lack of paint on Ramhorn. He looks so plain & boring to me. I’m not impressed with DS attempt here. Blaster looks ok. I want to see what FT can do with the tapes & Blaster.

FYI, the KFC tapes do fit in the chest, actually better than the DS tape🤣
8:14 u have the ds set upside down. Fyi, use some silicone oil inside around the tape chest and wipe it after, it helps the ds tape fit better.

Yes, he is 1lb, heavier than MP-44, diecast mostly in the feet

The tapes having a tight fit is definitely a deal breaker for me.

Ramhorn getting stuck is not an issue since you can just open up the back and push it out.
It is an issue when a piece breaks off due to the clearance, which happened for me and for Bobby Skullface

The horn for ramhorn came off, I put it back on, and mentioned it during final thoughts, Bobby also mentioned it
