- NO ONE CAN EAT THAT! GIANT BBQ CHALLENGE! Famous Austin Texas BBQ all served up in the biggest bbq challenge in Texas! Today we take on a giant bbq platter challenge featuring about 10lb of smoked meats (brisket, ribs, sausage, chicken turkey, pulled pork) plus sides like coleslaw, corn bread and served with pickles and other must have Texas bbq items. Today we are at Pok-E-Jo's in Austin Texas having some true Texas barbecue! Central Texas is the BBQ capital o texas and some argue the world! Serving up simple cook meat with heavy smoke and unmatched flavor, Texas's best BBQ and possibly the worlds best BBQ is found here. Texas is known for smoked beef brisket, smoked sausage, and smoked ribs. These staples along with other oak, hickory an mesquite smoked flavors are true Texas BBQ, mixed with your favorite southern favorites like mac and cheese and corn bread, this is true american food!

Im always amazed how Joel can enjoy and praise the taste of the food even after having eaten 10 pounds of it. I bet he often struggles a lot more than what it looks like, but hearing him talk about the food really makes you wanna go there and try yourself. Its very respectful of the restaurant and good advertisement too.
Joel ate roughly 10 pounds of meat and was still excited about the taste... I'd pass out from eating a quarter of that food let alone be excited about taste. What a master! Love it

That was a crazy challenge! Sooo much meat but it all looked delicious. I love bread and butter pickles and pickled onions. Pretty cool options and sides. You can tell you enjoyed this challenge, the staff seemed very friendly and it was nice they gave you the rib rub. Well done 🎉

Brisket all day long! Good Brisket takes a while to smoke and you really have to know what you’re doing. Compliments to the Pit Boss who looks after the fire, the smoke, the wet and dry rubs, mops and juices, the whole nine yards. It all looked OUTSTANDING!
