Two things I need to remember: Brushes that are wet down low it on a foot, and then Velcro strips are great for holding some pads! Gr8 ideas thank you for the unique Build!
I’ve been detailing for 10 years and just got my own tandem axel 6x12 enclosed trailer setting up the tank and pressure washer is my biggest issue so far
i plan on getting there soon man going to need help

Phil great video ... only thing I”d do different is get yourself a plateform for trucks and vans ... Gorilla makes them ...their about 4 feet long ..so unlike the ladder you can move around a bit more !

Love the setup, looks absolutely amazing. I am curious on how many vehicles on average you can wash with that 65gal tank. I dont detail, so 65gal doesn't seem much to me.
Thanks. We don’t do any basic washing anymore. But when we did we could wash about 5 vehicles. We made sure to use the water sparingly. Roughly 10 gal per vehicle depending on how bad it was. But now we do full details and sometimes that can use up about 15-20 gal per vehicle. But we only fit 2 full details within a day. So it plenty of water.

I just put together the exact same vacuum hose and reel before I watched this now I’m confident in my decision lol. I’m using a different 6hp vacuum. Haven’t used it yet but I’m excited. It’s the little things that make so much a difference when you’re mobile

Hey there. were hose begins fix you up with some PVC pipe and get away from the bottom of the machine and then continue with your regular hose. Good luck

Thanks, Actually that was a concern of ours at first, but now it doesnt even make a difference. We always tell customers that we need lots of level space to work, and it turns out fine. sometimes we run into problems, but we work around them.

It looses very little suction. Not bad at all. Not sure if you watched the entire video but I explained that the vacuum is a Ridgid and I swapped the motor out with a 6.5hp one.
I have a 50 ft cen-tec vacuum hose. Rockler says that they're reel is designed for a 40 ft hose. Will this reel accommodate a 50 ft hose?
Yeah so I took a gamble becasue it says 40ft. But the 50 foot hose fits perfectly! In fact I think I can fit a 60+ foot hose on here and it would fit.

Hey! So I have the 6.5 hp ridgid and am looking to get the smaller one and switch motors, but I cant tell which one is compatible. The 4 gal 5 hp one I see on home depots website looks like the motor attaches in a different way. The motor I have attaches the same way yours does. Am I looking at the right one or do they not sell it anymore?

hello friend Phil thanks for all your advice. I want you to help me solve a dilemma. I am starting detailed mobile, I have the optimal steamer I use it for exterior and interiors, carpets and seats and the vacumed instead of extractor but it takes up a lot of space. do you think i should sell it and buy something smaller steamer. and buy an extractor. someone with a better idea .
Hi. You're welcome, well I guess thats up to you...I smaller steamer is great, but yours takes the place of a steamer and pressure washer. The smaller steamers are not great to wash or detailing the exterior of a nasty vehicles. Are you planning on getting a pressure washer for exteriors?

And I asked about a good gas generator, I want to run multiple things on it, like a vacuum and a dual action polisher. Will a 4000 watt generator work, and not overload? Love your work, and your videos are very helpful.

Good question on the ozone generator actually. I have a household version that we use sometimes. But I do want to get a commercial grade one for vehicles.
