When Laura was on the phone with Scotty, and he told her that the guy that was following her has been killed, I laughed a little and smiled! :) Cus she just got done telling Luke oh this won't happen. ROFL!
I like how long and drawn out this storyline is. It reminds of how Young and the Restless use to be. I started watching Y&R when I was four and I remember it would take forever for storylines to finish but it was good. So I really enjoy this long version of storytelling.
No cell phones but in watching the way things are drawn out makes me excited...will they catch up with each other? Will they get the phone message? Everyone did know where each other might be though. Guess I don't mind looking back🌞
Frank Smith didn't own Kelly's, but he owned the building. Frank owned a lot of real estate on the waterfront, including this building. But, the rest is spot-on. Ruby bought it, and then Bobbie and Luke inherited it. I loved that they kept the name, and really only changed the interior here and there, but kept the ambiance. We don't see it as much anymore, which is really too bad. Metro Court is just too modern. There is no more "small town" feel to GH.
Betsy Keller they've shown Kelly's a lot the past 6 months or so, but I don't like the way they remodeled it. I know times change, but it's just too "dark" for me. Kelly's was always so bright and cheery.

So now the rape storyline is effectively over. It won't be talked about much longer except as an epilogue to the whole thing. Now clearing the decks to push the seduction angle, and heating up the Luke and Laura dynamic.

I'm not sure of the writing here. Laura keeps blaming Luke; it's all we hear over and over and over, and she's so angry at him for getting her involved. How did LUKE get her involved? She wanted the job at the disco, knowing there were shady characters there. She got locked in the closet, where she could have called for help right away. This is where the writing confuses me........it is not Luke's doing. It is really her own. I understand it makes for a good storyline. Maybe I am thinking too much into it.....but it is obvious. Her blaming Luke SO much could have been cut some, JMO. All in all....it begins a fun adventure!!

I get her lashing out at Luke for the rape. But this a completely separate thing. I feel weird saying that cause I'm by no means defending the rape or ignoring it.
