I love how Lila makes Edward “behave reasonably” while talking to Alan. Edward is such the Head of the Quartermaine family with that authoritative voice! David Lewis was all that!! Alan is wounded here, but will expose Monica later! There were so many good storylines back then. No dull boring days on GH.
I enjoyed the Bobbie/Scotty/Laura/Luke quadrangle when it first aired, and initially rooted for Scotty and Laura to get married. Looking back now, it was evident that they were too young for marriage when they were still growing. Laura's main goal was "escaping" from her parents' house rules. Douglas Marland created storylines where the immature ingénue typically fell for an older boyfriend and wanted to avoid parents' rules (such as Morgan with Kelly on Guiding Light and Lily Walsh with Holden on As THe World Turns).
Bottom line: Laura was too young to get married in the first place. I feel bad for Scott. He genuinely loved Laura...although I still think even he was too old for her. She didn't need to be attached on a permanent basis to ANY man. She was a kid. I wont' even go on about the whole Luke mess. I am not a fan of that pairing. I will NEVER be a fan of that pairing. I don't care how much someone tries to explain it. It was WRONG. PERIOD.

L&L went 2 have fun adventures, after she return from the island. She had time 2 grow up with Luke.
