S&S 475 Cam First impression!

- In this video I had just picked my 2021 Low Rider S up with the new S&S 475 cam in it along with a lot of other parts! We go for a ride and I tell you how I feel about it!

I did the Wood WM8 22XE cam on my Road Glide 107. The Fuel Moto tune has the bike running and pulling hard. The S&S 475 starts pulling little higher in the RPM range than what I wanted. The Wood cam is a beast from about 2700 RPM all the way to redline. Can't wait to get a true dyno tune
Trust me, you're not even close to tapping your bikes potential. I went with a Wood 22 XE, Fuel Moto Quickie pushrods, SE air cleaner, SE 55mm aluminum intake, S&S oil pump and cam plate, Wood lifters, S&S tappet cuffs, and S&S Sidewinder 2/1 exhaust. Did the installation myself, then took the bike to a speed shop for dyno tuning. My bike arrived with 99 hp and 104 lb ft of torque from a canned tune from Fuel Moto. After the dyno tuning, my bike came out of the speed shop with 113 hp and 118 lb ft of torque. I see sooo many owners stopping with a canned tune off of a Power Vision. As you can see, my bike had a lot more power waiting to be unleashed after a proper dyno tuning...don't settle for almost right, go ahead and get everything you deserve!!!

Put the 475 kit on my 107 street bob. Really woke the bike up. Pulls like a mule now!
Just got home he 475 kit on my 107. 105hp/120tq, bike feels soooo much better, it hold the power all the way through to 5500rpm, it’s nice 😎
Getting stage 2 done to my '23 low rider s next week. So excited! Doing same cam possibly or wm8 22xe not sure yet. New throttle body also.
Honestly kept waiting for you to rip it😂. Sounded and looked to me like you rode normal the whole time. Glad you happy with what the cam gave you under normal riding conditions. Maybe next video and dyno tune you'll actually do some pulls?

Love this Sound. The 475 is amazing
I agree. Zippers 468 and Thundermax ended up working out the best for me. Nice idle chop and tons of pull right away up to Rev limiter.
What’s the lift & duration of the cam?

So now you need to put a thunder, max tuner very expensive but very worth it then you have it dino . and then from that point, the bike will self tune itself, regardless of outside conditions elevation add-ons. I put one on my bike and I love it.
What was cost of all that and labor

I has the 475 in my 22 fat bob.Sounded great but for me at least I didn't like how the bike wanted to be revving higher than stock.These bikes like low rpms with the high torque but after the 475 swap you had to carry a gear lower in general.I wouldn't put a 475 in my new bike.
I just had it installed In my road king 2020 and exactly as u said it is very bad under 2000 rpm, am seriously thinking of removing it and back to stock cam

Why are you going through Fuel meto when you have a power vision which has there own maps?
Hopefully you found your answer by looking at both websites. FM has tested more actual combinations, not to mention the service after the sale… for all the parts needed.
Using that SE tuner with that cam will melt your pistons!!! Over time
