The g2 is good but i prefer the wade right combo. Mostly because it keeps your rods up much higher so your chances of dunking a reel are much lower. Plus they have some cool options.

If you live in Florida you probably surf as well as fish. I use my booties when i wade fish. I have a belt i bought years ago from a company out of Texas called the wade and hunt. Came with pliers, stringer, rod holder and a decent little tackle box with a mesh pocket in front.

I noticed that your ride gets in the water that's the only problem I see with the belt I would say that the Wade right would be a better rod holder as far as the belt though it's nice

Simms Vaportread Saltwater are the best lace up boots period. You get some protection and the rubber doesn't come apart. I have 2 pairs 5 seasons of hell and still going. Barts Bay Amour for the zip ups and sting ray protection.

Killed 2 pairs of the Simms already.. I no longer recommend them.

I bought that belt and found in the surf it is of no use and the right wave could knock it down to your knees

You can knock rust off with a vinegar/water solution. Just don't keep the vinegar on the metal for too long.
