      Katie Kay we think so. The problem now is that we can't stop making them. That and eyeing up everyone's clothing and furnishings for doll making!

    My heart was in my mouth watching that because it looks such a delicate operation. You have done that a lot of times, I'm sure and you have it down to a fine art. I am yet to try it, lol!

    I think I might use the paintbrushes that are made for nail art for this.

    Wow great questions below. Thank you for sharing this beautiful tutorial I can't wait try these techniques. Oh I have a question; What kind of brushes you used? Can you give list please.😉

      I use whatever good quality brushes I can find. Forvstippling you need something totally wrecked, short, splayed bristles. A couple of good fine brushes for the outlining and detail but don't spend lots. You only need a few. X

    Thank you for the lovely tutorials, I was wondering if you use any sealant (eg mod podge) to apply on top of the painted features. I want to use pastels and paints on my doll face when I make a fabric one and I wondered what your advice would be

      Hi Neen. I use acrylics which don't need sealing at all. I would imagine that any flexible sealant would do but would advise painting and sealing once the doll is sewn and stuffed. You could still trace the face on in pencil to make it easier to place the features. I've never tried it so would be interested to see the result.

    Hi- this is a very helpful tutorial. Is the doll washable with a painted face?

      It depends what paint you use! I use sheva/markel sticks they will be waterproof. Honestly though. Don’t get your doll wet. 😉

    How long does Acrylic paint take to dry? And do you machine sew the seams, or handsew them?

    • @alicesbearshop5272
      @alicesbearshop5272  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lulu2224 I used Daler Rowney acrylics for the doll face painting but any good quality acrylic will work.
