I want to get into the dollmaking and have a couple of patterns already to start. Have you got any tips on how to add ball joints.I have the little wooden balls with the whole through and it’s been suggested that you use them as the joints any tips, or if you could show us how would be amazing. This was SO fascinating and informative. I especially liked the lighter to darker shades in the iris. Once you have the body all put together, do you draw ideas for clothing or do you just wing it?
She looks amazing. I love the process to get the face done. I'm a sculptor and am considering making some of my pieces, in doll form. I was debating whether I should sew the eyes or draw. Just wondering tho, will the "face" come off if you wash the doll or over time?

Pinterest and wing it! I do try to make and keep a proper pattern tho! 😊😊
