Your videos are wonderful. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. What kind of material do you use to cover the wool head/body. Do you have a video on that? Thank you again.❤
Thank you! I made this doll in 2020 and she has been in her mom's arms for quite some time but I am constantly making dolls and loving the process. Thank you for your kind words and I am so thankful to be of inspiration to you.

It takes time to hone down your skills and learn how to achieve symmetry. Don't get discouraged as practice does help a lot. I have two online classed where I show you how to felt firmly, with high quality in mind, and how to achieve the face proportions that correspond to young children. If you are interested in checking them out, please visit this link: dollmakingacademy.thinkific.com/
Its a rather lengthy process to drape the fabric and make it conform to all the nooks and crannies (with lots of pins) and then cleverly placed sculpting stitches to sink the fabric into certain areas. It's not magic, just patience, needle, thread and pins.
I just didn't have enough time to do captions myself, but I think if you watch this on your desktop computer and enable the captions...that TH-cam can offer you an automatic translation to your chosen language.
thank you so much for the awesome video! It would be helpful to see the covered- finished head! Love watching you work! Lorie

Superschön danke ❤❤❤❤😂

Amei o vídeo!! ❤
Nunca tinha visto essa técnica. Pode lavar o boneco depois de pronto? Ele não desmancha? Obrigada!!
You can only handwash them, not throw them in the washing machine. These dolls take a lot of hours and are meant to be treated gently 😍
@@Figandme Thank you for the answer!!
Trabalho maravilhoso ❤❤❤❤
Thank you, you are kind with your comment.
Maybe I'm dumb but how do you end up putting the fabric on at the end and making it cling to the sculpted face so snugly?
Its a rather lengthy process to drape the fabric and make it conform to all the nooks and crannies (with lots of pins) and then cleverly placed sculpting stitches to sink the fabric into certain areas. It's not magic, just patience, needle, thread and pins.
