Shows lots of confidence to add the face after all that work on her hair, I would do face frist and if it turned out cute, than I'd add the hair. Outstanding!
1) I use 100% cotton for the dolls body. 2) I'ts the most common color pencil. Graphit pencil is fine too. 3) I use water-based Deco Textile fabric paint.
such a great tutorial, and so inspiring. you explain everything really well and mixed with the relaxing music. it's so nice to see the little doll come to life. thank you very much for sharing this with us and your dolls are true works of art, well done!
Could you please tell me where you purchase your paint so I can make sure to get the right paints.I would greatly appreciate it. I am working on a 3D baby blanket for my new granddaughter who will be born in February 2016. The 3D part is the princess doll I am attaching onto the front of the blanket, and I was wondering how to do the face and this is so perfect. I always use 100% cotton for all of my projects. Thank you very much for putting in so much of your time for us. Thanks again, Star
Hello and thanks for such a great tutorial. Your doll is so cute. I would like to know if I should paint the dolls face before I stuff it or would that distort it. Thank you so much I appreciate you. 👍😄
lovely dolls thank you so much I hope to make some for my classroom a student broke the one that we had and their so hard to find. Thanks again for sharing your talent
This was an amazing video. all ten parts of it. Thank You for sharing. I only have one question: I hate to hand sew, can I stuff the legs and arms and then sew then in?
Why not, Seems to me though, you would do that before you put it together. That way you get a chance to redo if you don't like it; my favorite alternative. Good luck.
Anneli, with cotton fabric and the paint you're using will I be able to wash it. I want to make it for my daughter. Or what would you advise? Thank you. Outstanding job.
Great video. I wish I had your confidence. I am so terrified of making a mistake and ruining the doll. Do you use any primer on the face before painting? I got bleeding when I tried. Ugh
this is an excellent tutorial, love the detailed work. Like quite a few tutorials, the music is very loud and distracting, had to turn the volume off, otherwise, beautiful work, thanks!
This is the best tutorial on you tube for cloth dolls. So easy to follow instructions and such quality dolls.
