Sting is the epitome of rock; and seeing Vince Gill do rock gives me goosebumps! His wife, Ms. Amy Grant was right. He can sing with any other artist. His voice just mesh really well with any singer. He has the trio, the song writing, the singing, and the instrument (in his case the guitar). He is great at all three and that truly puts him among the GOATs. So many don't realize the talent he truly has.
I will also say this, he tends to hold back on the guitar. Performances like this when he gets down on the guitar, yeah he shows his true ability, and he makes it look so easy.
This is great. I remember going through my country phase in the 90’s and going to see Vince Gill in concert. It was one of my favorites. He had this special kind of warmth in his voice. I’m glad to see he’s still active.
I flew with Mustang for 2 years in the F-4 Phantom in VMFA-235 and love every minute of our flight time. Stang was a guitarist making his living as a fighter pilot.
