This performance like all other Vince Gill performances is yet another master class in musicianship and letting the soul of the song breathe. Vince Gills phrasing on guitar 🎸 second to none.
Oh my goodness, so amazing. I have loved this song from the first time I heard it, many years ago. Vince's voice and guitar playing are once in a lifetime.
When I think of the performers that keep country music true to it's roots in our modern times I think of George Strait, Alan Jackson and last but not least Vince Gill.
I’m glad you mentioned Alan Jackson one of my all time favorites. I miss him so sad to see him sick god bless him and his beautiful wife and daughters 🙏
Vinny has always carried an absolute Stellar band on the road with him & just incredible steel players !!! Then when you throw Buko & Jed Hughes along with Vince’s playing it doesn’t get any better than that !!!
He tells a funny story about that. He was sitting in on a recording and had a guitar solo. After the first take, the producer said “that’s really good, let’s do it again but don’t show us everything you know.” Something to that effect anyway. He learned a great lesson that day. He is awesome, both as a musician and as a person.
This is the perfect situation for those instruments. The best hands in Nashville are on that stage. Of course, they would sound great with less, but why? @Roundawg
The worst part about seeing Vince Gill LIVE? All the drunk, obnoxious women singing along at the top of their lungs right behind your head throughout the entire show.
@@michaelyolch79 we had one at the Saturday night show and he pretty much personally put her in her place. Everyone drunk idiot calmed down after that.
He used to dress so sharp (Every woman loves a sharp dressed man). Everyone on stage dresses better than Vince. He looks like he got up on a Saturday morning and put on clothes to take out the garbage. Nice playing as usual at least.
@@revelationsoundstudio this was the next to the last song. He started the evening in a dress coat. He played for 4 hrs. Give him a break. He’s awesome.

you don’t have to be a fan of country music to appreciate how talented theses musicians are. Vince is an amazing musician.
Vince Gill is a true living legend.
Vince Gill is one of the most tasteful guitar players ever. Very underrated. 🔥🎶
Vince is rated number 12 of the best country guitar players of ALL TIME, by Ultimate-Guitar. Hardly underrated!

So good to see Vince looking like Vince again. Glad he ditched the silly beard and long hair. The guy is legend. My favorite artist ever.
beautiful song, Vince is an ICON, and I just noticed Uncle Larry, I love these guys.
Seriously how is he still this good.
Vince’s chubby baby face and shoulder-length hair as he sang “Amie” with PPL now make me cry.😢
Vince Gill is one of these guys, thats one in a million or more.
I happened to watch the ACL PPL performance of Aimee yesterday.
Gotta say Vince's voice has aged like fine whiskey.
One of the greatest we will ever see.
