Man , I just got back from a few days out in Quartzsite. Detecting, dry washing, and just plain getting dusty and parched . Hung out with the AMRA crew , Had a great time , made some new friends , etc . Watching the video makes me realize how truly blessed we really are that we still get to dredge these beautiful waters..

Awesome video Bryan, I love Alex, great gold prospector! I remember the video of the pit viper. I think I have some video footage of when we were fighting legislation in Maine of Alex saying his piece to the legislators. What a beautiful location! Awesome newspaper story. How the hell did they find You? I like the Angus MacKirk, I have a smaller one but they all work great.
I'm glad you fought so hard in the state house for all us prospectors. If not this video and memories of this day would have not been made. Chad ran into the newspaper pepole somehow. I was out re-supplying when they showed up, so I didn't get any footage of them doing the story.

Thanks for another great video. I think it's very important to show the actual cleanup of the stream beds. I wonder how ecologists feel about this process of cleaning up the lead and iron parts. Dredgers especially can be credited with providing a community service that has real value to the aquatic species.
When they were trying to ban dredging here, we all got together and brought a pan full of lead fishing weights and bullets to show the senators in the state house how much lead we took out of the river that year. I think it help a lot for us to win!
@@AmericanGoldProspectors Wow! How smart to collect the junk and be able to show it to someone. My favorite find is a 4" long rusty iron bolt with a nut on one end. Is this in NH? I'm only a little familiar with the legislation that happened here in Maine.
