Your hairs look amazing. For someone like me who has sever heat damage to the point my hair no longer curls when it dries would this product help bring back my curls or will i be better off just shaving my head and starting over?

I’m excited to try it in Western NC humidity which can get really high. It can oppressively muggy here. On top of that you have the frequent mist and fog that makes the smoky mountains smoky. I love a styler that doesn’t have glycerin (we don’t get along in certain weather conditions) but I’m still working on the frizz aspect. My hair will always have some frizz. I’m okay with that. It doesn’t bother me at all but I can get an excess and I still haven’t figured out everything that causes it between the way I style - ingredients - weather. I am working on it. I know aloe gets me at times. It just depends. My hair is higher porosity so I welcome the added water retention with sunflower oil because I think water retention plays a large role. I’m never mad at fragrance free. It isn’t an absolute requirement, depending on the product, but I do have sensitive skin and my scalp appreciates if if the product is applied closer to it. I’m 46 yrs old and started my journey 2 yrs ago. My hair is wavy, fine, limp and thin. It loses curl by next morning. I’m super excited to try it beings it gets weighed down so easily. My hair is unruly and coarse, grew out my virgin hair for 3 years and am wowed by my curls. This foam outperformed my usual hard hold gel by curlsmith and ouidad. I am blown away how well it volumized and defined my curls. Since its summer I use the ouidad balm as my finisher for humidity help... and they pair wonderfully together! Love this stuff!! I have been using the EvaNYC 10-in-1 prep spray, LUS leave in for wavy hair, Verb foaming gel, and then Verb ghost oil at the end. It's truly the best my hair has looked in forever. I got my split ends trimmed off the other day and then went home and did my routine and I got a random compliment from a lady that works at my pharmacy for the first time ever lol. I know the trim helped my curls spring back up but it's the products and routine that make all of the difference. Edit to add: My profile pic is from 2 years ago when I shaved off all of my damaged hair to start fresh. So when I found these videos and started wearing my hair curly again it was already pretty healthy from having no bleach, color, or heat damage in the past 2 years. As of right now it is shoulder length with layers after getting it trimmed.
No coconut… Almost in tears… i formed an adult allergy to coconut which has made my hair care journey so hard since so many curly products are coconut in one way or another. I can finally have a product with no coconut. I also love that you have fine but normal density hair because so do I and its hard to find products that aren’t to heavy. I’m so excited!!
Holy CURLS!!! The Verb Foam is EVERYTHING I’ve ever wanted in a product and what I have spent $100’s trying to find!! I absolutely LOVE this foam. It’s crazy how soft and manageable by curls are while also being sturdy. I used the Ghost shampoo and conditioner. Then put in the Verb mousse/cream on soaking wet hair. I usually put in a leave in conditioner, curl cream and then gel but wanted to give this product a chance to work entirely on its own. My hair takes a very long time to air dry usually but not today! I can’t believe it’s dry already and it looks great with no frizz! So glad I tried these products!

MELL. I just used this for the first time today and my hair looks, feels, and smells amazing. My elasticity is hands down the best it's been since I started transitioning almost a year ago. Just, wow. I used it with no curl cream or gel and got great results! Holy Moly! I've been wondering why Amanda's hair suddenly went from pretty to POPPIN a couple years ago... now I think I know why. Really wonder if this will work for my 2b-3a fine but dense hair!! This curl foaming gel is THE BEEEESSSTTT!!! OMG! It was so hard to find because it was sold out everywhere. But I was persistent and was able to get one at Ulta. It’s exactly what I was looking for. The other foaming gel that I was using before was leaving my hair so crunch and dry, it was not good to the touch, but it was the only one that was holding my bleach damaged ends together. The other ones would not work and my hair would get frizzy. Then I tried yours and omg!! My hair is silky and bouncy again!! And my ends look beautiful, they don’t even look damaged anymore 😍😍😍 I love it!! Create more products for us please, I’ll buy them all 😆😆💃🏽💞

I just bought this and I didn’t have the highest expectations because it sounded too good to be true. Buddy I was WRONG! I have high porosity, transitioning (still have 2” of damage) 2c - 3b. Getting definition without weighing my hair down or having it feel crunchy has been my biggest problem the past year since I started transitioning. This product does neither! My hair is also super shiny. The only downfall is that it seems it takes a bit longer for my hair to dry… but if that’s the only downfall I’ll take it! Besides the reason it probably takes longer to dry is because some ingredients (that moisturize and protect) seem to do this! Thanks Mel and Amanda for producing such a fabulous product ♥️ (edit: I should mention I also use a leave in and curl cream in conjunction with this product).

I would love if you could do a tutorial for people that have thicker, coarse hair but are more in the 2b 2c category, I have very wavy hair with curls that come out at the bottom and I find I am always stuck in between wavy and curly and get very confused to which routines I should be following. Hey guys! I have tried out the new product for one wash day, and my waves/curls were soft and awesome, but I really worried about the longevity of my wash day. I added another product on top to give it a little more hold. Are there any products you would recommend pairing with the foam to increase the hold? My hair gets weighed down easily and droops in the humidity if I am not careful.
I’m SO EXCITED! Not just for the product but for you two. So many details, trial & error, plus just the way you care about every detail. Also, white & orange? The color coordination is amazing. Was that a grapefruit? Even more coordinated with the ingredients if it was. LOVE it. I just got my shipping confirmation. Seesters. I cried when you said no fragrance. Sometimes, that’s the difference between doing my hair or needing an epipen I have mast cell disease. Basically allergic to life. Thank you for remembering people like me. I saw the others in the line & they all list fragrance, but I ordered anyhow. I’m just so excited for you & my hair is excited. Would the root clips or alligator clip work with fringe bangs? I like them kind of messy ish. It just feels more fun & more like me, but it’s hard to get volume & longevity. I’d love to see more on hair like similar to mine: low density. It’s fine, & easily looses it’s curl. I do sleep with a bonnet. I’m refreshing daily with steam. I’m just so excited for you two! Congratulations!
I definitely recommend doing a patch test on your inner arm if you don't already. I have no issues w/the verb curl cream, but I do have fairly sensitive scalp as well as several skin allergies, & I had the WORST contact dermatitis from their reset shampoo & conditioner. Verb was great about it though & gave me a full refund. I did a patch test later (I now do them BEFORE using new products lol) & surprisingly it was the conditioner that gave my skin the worst reaction (a red burn with welts). I would have thought the shampoo. The shampoo left a mark but not as bad, & even the leave in left a mark. I went over the ingredients & there's nothing in there that I haven't used before, other than the fact that I don't react well to a variety of synthetic fragrances. So I assume it was the fragrance. 🤷🏽♀️ The curl line is a difference scent though. & the curl cream gives me no issue. Not that I put that on my scalp, but I don't put conditioner on my scalp either, some will just find its way there.
@@VengefulAngeI I spot test everything. I have Mast Cell Disease & its basically allergic to life. Rare, incurable, & life threatening. I frequently go into anaphylaxis. My doc does not want overnight patch testing ever because I’m allergic to adhesive. I’ve had anaphylaxis with previously safe products, not just hair care. With hair care & skin care you’re dealing with a lot more. Just because a patch test there comes up normal, doesn’t mean it’s safe. It can also mean the molecules are too large to pass through the skin blood barrier there. I know not to play around with allergies.

Update! I’ve been using and following this exact routine and I am nothing but happy! The products just work so well together my favorite part is when the foam dries and I can use the ghost oil to break the caste and my hair is SOOOO SOFT smells and feels amazing and so lightweight! 10/10 recommend

I bought the foam last week and very pleased. It has a great balance and not too heavy but enough for getting structure and volume with your hair. Don’t overdo it when applying. I was very pleased with this product and the other verb products I use. Can you tell me where to buy the comb? Thanks so much for these excellent tutorials

MELL. I just used this for the first time today and my hair looks, feels, and smells amazing. My elasticity is hands down the best it's been since I started transitioning almost a year ago. Just, wow. I used it with no curl cream or gel and got great results! I could tell it was going to be fantastic as soon as I applied it and immediately got some of the juiciest curls ever before even brush styling! Five stars👏👏👏

This curl foaming gel is THE BEEEESSSTTT!!! OMG! It was so hard to find because it was sold out everywhere. But I was persistent and was able to get one at Ulta.
It’s exactly what I was looking for. The other foaming gel that I was using before was leaving my hair so crunch and dry, it was not good to the touch, but it was the only one that was holding my bleach damaged ends together. The other ones would not work and my hair would get frizzy.
Then I tried yours and omg!! My hair is silky and bouncy again!! And my ends look beautiful, they don’t even look damaged anymore 😍😍😍

I just bought this and I didn’t have the highest expectations because it sounded too good to be true. Buddy I was WRONG! I have high porosity, transitioning (still have 2” of damage) 2c - 3b. Getting definition without weighing my hair down or having it feel crunchy has been my biggest problem the past year since I started transitioning. This product does neither! My hair is also super shiny. The only downfall is that it seems it takes a bit longer for my hair to dry… but if that’s the only downfall I’ll take it! Besides the reason it probably takes longer to dry is because some ingredients (that moisturize and protect) seem to do this! Thanks Mel and Amanda for producing such a fabulous product ♥️ (edit: I should mention I also use a leave in and curl cream in conjunction with this product).

I would love if you could do a tutorial for people that have thicker, coarse hair but are more in the 2b 2c category, I have very wavy hair with curls that come out at the bottom and I find I am always stuck in between wavy and curly and get very confused to which routines I should be following. Hey guys! I have tried out the new product for one wash day, and my waves/curls were soft and awesome, but I really worried about the longevity of my wash day. I added another product on top to give it a little more hold. Are there any products you would recommend pairing with the foam to increase the hold? My hair gets weighed down easily and droops in the humidity if I am not careful.
I’m SO EXCITED! Not just for the product but for you two. So many details, trial & error, plus just the way you care about every detail. Also, white & orange? The color coordination is amazing. Was that a grapefruit? Even more coordinated with the ingredients if it was. LOVE it.
I just got my shipping confirmation. Seesters. I cried when you said no fragrance. Sometimes, that’s the difference between doing my hair or needing an epipen I have mast cell disease. Basically allergic to life. Thank you for remembering people like me.
I saw the others in the line & they all list fragrance, but I ordered anyhow. I’m just so excited for you & my hair is excited. Would the root clips or alligator clip work with fringe bangs? I like them kind of messy ish. It just feels more fun & more like me, but it’s hard to get volume & longevity.
I’d love to see more on hair like similar to mine: low density. It’s fine, & easily looses it’s curl. I do sleep with a bonnet. I’m refreshing daily with steam.

I definitely recommend doing a patch test on your inner arm if you don't already. I have no issues w/the verb curl cream, but I do have fairly sensitive scalp as well as several skin allergies, & I had the WORST contact dermatitis from their reset shampoo & conditioner. Verb was great about it though & gave me a full refund. I did a patch test later (I now do them BEFORE using new products lol) & surprisingly it was the conditioner that gave my skin the worst reaction (a red burn with welts). I would have thought the shampoo. The shampoo left a mark but not as bad, & even the leave in left a mark. I went over the ingredients & there's nothing in there that I haven't used before, other than the fact that I don't react well to a variety of synthetic fragrances. So I assume it was the fragrance. 🤷🏽♀️ The curl line is a difference scent though. & the curl cream gives me no issue. Not that I put that on my scalp, but I don't put conditioner on my scalp either, some will just find its way there.
@@VengefulAngeI I spot test everything. I have Mast Cell Disease & its basically allergic to life. Rare, incurable, & life threatening. I frequently go into anaphylaxis. My doc does not want overnight patch testing ever because I’m allergic to adhesive. I’ve had anaphylaxis with previously safe products, not just hair care. With hair care & skin care you’re dealing with a lot more. Just because a patch test there comes up normal, doesn’t mean it’s safe. It can also mean the molecules are too large to pass through the skin blood barrier there.
I know not to play around with allergies.

Update! I’ve been using and following this exact routine and I am nothing but happy! The products just work so well together my favorite part is when the foam dries and I can use the ghost oil to break the caste and my hair is SOOOO SOFT smells and feels amazing and so lightweight! 10/10 recommend

I bought the foam last week and very pleased. It has a great balance and not too heavy but enough for getting structure and volume with your hair. Don’t overdo it when applying. I was very pleased with this product and the other verb products I use.
