Heya, thanks so much for the shoutout man, I really appreciate you showing Musketeers to more people, great video!
About the 4 vg swings (3 rerides), yes it is possible, with the same highroll setup you showed in the video, but the 2nd column's front can be anything (2 tokens, 2 dragons in drop, 5cb). It goes roughly -> Vg swing (stride), rg Cecilia swing, reride locking 1 of the tokens and front, call dragons, swing dragon, swing now vg Cecilia using 1st skill retiring both dragons (needed to reduce requirements on call), then this Cecilia NEEDS to call another Cecilia "Reverse" from top of the deck and anything else. Then you can extend as you showed, swinging Cecilia reverse on RG, locking the other token and unit to reride again, calling both dragons again, swinging dragon, then again Cecilia on Vg, 1st skill retiring 2, then this Cecilia can find any other Cecilia on top and any one other card, which leaves you with just enough standing units and the last cb you need to reride for the 3rd time. Not likely to happen at all but amusing nontheless :D
Also, I like the Favila tech, it's a card I haven't had much space for myself and I like that you have pointed her out. The only thing that I wonder is, without the G3 searchers and on 6 ride targets, how is the consistency of actually riding a Cecilia, and then having a stride fodder and Ladislava G3 target if you have not found a dragon? I can see some ways around this restriction, with the 2 G-Era Sweet Berries, but I am unsure.
Oh, and with set 6 (and later down the line, set 7), I think its worth a mention, I could see the new revivers, so Diantha at g1 (and maybe Aracelis at g3 from set 7) replace her, as their Grades are much better with the Ladislava toolbox. Elementaria Sanctitude replacing the Musketeer pg is probably also a thing, it's hard to pass up a free pg.

Usually I'm using the Crits to stride. Sometimes OG Cecilia, Usurp, and G3 Heals. I have before used 2 cards to stride. I try to recycle my Cecilia R's frequently if possible with the G Guards.
Yeah that G1 is basically a version of Ellenia. I've considered her but haven't tried her in practice.

Gah this video made me fall in love with this deck again, and I was already madly in love with it. Cecilia/Cecilia R were the cards that got me both into Neo Nectar but also into Cardfight Vanguard, and this was the first premium deck I built once I got a hang of the game. Loved this video and the others you recommended a ton. Good work!
P.S. There may or may not be a hidden secret interaction with Cecilia R and an old Forerunner. I've asked multiple people, including a few judges, and it seems to work. The only issue is it's weirdly not good due to Neo nectar not having enough good options to abuse it, but hopefully in time it'll come to fruition :3

@@CommanderJaime The forerunner is Augury Maiden Ida. It's the only card I could find that allows 2 units other than itself to give each other their card names.
Cecilia R's text does not say original card name... so it allows for some very interesting shenanigans. ;)
I guess to be clearer, you can use Ida to have Cecilia R and any other unit be regarded as having each other's card name. Which means that if the other unit was placed from deck, you can reride it. Sounds great, but unfortunately almost nothing exists that is actually good to reride in NN. Stoichea has Flagburg which is both funny and kind of interesting as removal options and a guard restrict the clan doesn't otherwise have, and before Ruination got restricted to 1 in all clans I did briefly consider trying to make OrderMuskets a thing where you could reride Ruination mid-battle as well. Everything else is not worth it vs just riding cecilar R unfortunately.

As someone who brought this to top 8 last BSF 2022 Manila... I'm glad someone acknowledges the potential of this deck... Just a recommendation on someone who wanna play the deck... You can also play Toure since that card is +2 on board if you manage to hit your musketeer units... So you can multiply the Rearguard count and and call your counter chargers to continue your reride chain much further. You can also play Verano in the G deck whenever you find yourself in a situation you have to return alot of cards and an Overtrigger, you don't have the Augusto, Kiarra G1 PG or heals in order to G guard... To give you more flexible options in any matchups.
Also from my testing this deck can reach 13 attacks max if you properly setup your board. When I tested it with the new stride.

and just a question as a player from 2011 who’s slowly getting back to cfvanguard, is no one using the bloom mechanics anymore in tourneys or just casual games? i still kept my old ahsha deck, was wondering if i could still use it…

Bloom for the most part has been power crept because of V Series introducing bigger power/shield thresholds. Plus the Force markers are really good. Especially in this deck. The Ahsha deck uses Force 2 for high Crit pressure.
You can still build a Bloom deck but it may not be as strong. And a challenge to use new units with it. But I'm not the expert in Bloom 🙃

All this time I thought you had to keep locking front row units for the re-ride. Reading is hard lol.
It's a very wordy skill lol. Yeah as long as you technically have one locked in the front row, you can lock other cards like Tokens in the back row and still be good.
Did you ever have problems finding grade 3s in your deck? I’m more partial to Padmini in the deck to secure the initial grade 3 cecelia reverse ride as well as get the usurp dragon in the drop. I’ve also seen some other builds running it as well.
I haven't, 6 rideable G3s have been good to me since G Era. I do mulligan to get at least a Cecilia to ride with. You can also assess to stay at G2 for early game since it can hold out for a turn.
So, ultimately, do you recommend playing 1 or 2 usurp dragon? What kind of combos can you do with just one? Is the ceiling higher with 1 or 2 or are they the same. I have a build and thought that I needed only 1 for the drop ability for simple attacks, but with the rear retire fodder 2 seems to be the limit to go with.
You can work with 1 just fine. But the 2nd one does help further extend. I'm considering bumping to 3 copies lol
