The transformation part is from what they use for their videos. Especially with the song, Lost, recently. It has a uniqueness to it.

@@shawnrodriguez4489 haha no worries. You're correct. The ACT skill of Rapt does need a summation of G3 total. Later on then you can use the Stride Crits for normal striding. I'll try to be clear more in the future with decks like these kind of superior stride skills.

In terms of what the erratas and what comes in the deckset, I also agree that Revenger got the biggest impact. Musketeers can still play the old build with a few changes, like using Sea Strike Engarluv, etc. So the Virginal Cecilia play isn't as crucial. Katrina does a lot of the work lol

@@CommanderJaime I have played against all three. Will piloting the revengers. And I had the toughest time with revengers. If they go first and you have even a sub par hand a lot of times you just die. It’s brutal! Anyways. Keep up the good work man! Always enjoy watching your videos

@@zhenjia96 yep that is a counter tactic for sure. You can only do so much. You can use the G3 Heal to give you a damage. You can use a card like Demon World Castle VanGebeeze to help retire enough. Otherwise you can only have 2 VG attacks. Which isn't ideal but still better than nothing. @@CommanderJaime Thanks for the answer! I've cut out the v raging form to run 4 OG raging form dragon, because i don't have CB to use Slay Hex + Darkbless. Because of that, I don't stride into Chainrancor much. I usually stride into raging rapt and morfessa, and use crow to nuke opponent's field. I don't think my deck build is optimal, but since everyone knows how to counterplay this deck, it's the best we have.

@@zhenjia96So I would not cut the V raging form out completely and here’s why. 1. You are heavily limiting your decks potential to win in the late game. Stacking up force markers is what this deck does to win those later turns especially since if they are consciously damage denying you, you can easily guard or disregard guarding depending on the match up. Secondly, the pressure the opponent will feel in regards to just having the V raging form face up in damage or knowledge it is in your hand can prevent them from hitting with weenies in my experience. They better be able to keep you at 3, or finish the game from there. Otherwise they’re making the next turn far more leathal for you. And in the mean time if they are damage denying, you can pressure with chain rancor, the legion, or crow crouch to control the board once again depending on the matchup

@@Lancelotzero1 short answer yes Raging Rapt's errata skill let's you stride by effect regardless of your opponent's VG grade. More explained. Technically there's 2 ways to stride with Raging Rapt. The first is the normal Stride keyword that ALL normal Strides have: [Stride]-Stride Step-COST [Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them], Stride this card on your (VC) from face down. The Stride keyword actually checks if both players are G3 or greater VGs. If that's not met, then you cannot Stride normally. The newly added skill to Rapt: [ACT](G zone):If your vanguard is a grade 3 "Revenger, Raging Form Dragon" with the Limit Break 4 ability, and you did not get an imaginary gift this fight, COST [choose one or more cards from hand with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater, and discard them], and Stride this card on your (VC) from face down. Then, COST [turn a card with "Revenger" in its card name from G zone face up], you get two Imaginary Gift:Force, and you get a "Revenger, Raging Form Dragon" crest. Notice there's no Stride keyword in the beginning. It's just a normal ACT skill that can be used from the G Zone. The only conditions it checks are a Raging Form G3 VG with LB4 and no Gifts yet obtained. That's it. So ideally the deck wants to go first and smack an opponent's G2 VG with 3-4 Raging Rapt swings lol. Hope that helps!

In my own experience I would say no. Having an extra card for discard / putting down as a locked unit so it fizzles feels way too good. If you feel you need more shield the deck can already dig and cycle into numbers way larger than 10k if you break stride. Only scenario I can imagine it is good for in todays meta is if you find yourself stuck on Beatrice as your first grade 3 ride but even then it’s debatable. Just my two sense though.

@@frogthejamygo6379 yep very well said. I tried protect 2 when History Collection was revealed to give it a chance. But double Protect 1 markers still were better in my experience too.

I’m one of the rare people that goes protect 2 unless I’m playing against a board wiping strategy or something that swings with huge numbers like DP for example. Using Negrolily to have a 25k guard followed with a 25k intercepter feels SOOOO nice. Not to mention that the protect 2’s provide power boost on your turn. It’s just worked to me, but you know, people have preferences which is fine also.

​@CommanderJaime it my testing, it depends on matchup. Decks like OTT with guard restricts, you can consider protect 2 for more aggro plays and to have a big intercept but don't be like me, do that and then call skull dragon on the protect two markers ☠️☠️☠️

@@zeff3016 yeah definitely understand the sentiment. It started with a few people trying it out for fun. Not sure if you have another person or two that plays it at least. That can spark interest.

Your most expensive card from the top of my head is bad bounty at like 20 bucks at 3 of. Depending on your own card choices, I’d say 250 is a solid range for the deck at the moment. Good luck!

I heard that happened a while back in another TCG. Although I don't know the whole story what happened. Crazy though....

I was happy though that this scenario was given to me in this way since it cemented my mindset of talking to the opponent if it's possible to speed things up.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes sometimes we need to learn this way. You're right, it's cemented in our minds of what to do for next time. It's how we grow as players. I also had to learn the hard way with slow play and losing due to double loss. I've been more intentional on always chatting with my opponent if they're truly thinking about a complex play.

@@CommanderJaime I would say, on the topic of mental and physical. EAT BREAKFEST and bring snacks. I've seen soooo many people drop after round 4+ because they are really hungry, even when their record is good. Also if you're hungry, it leads to crankiness and bad decision making, hydrating too.

If there's suspicion of an opponent cheating due to weird shuffling: 1. Confront the player, reshuffle, then they should cut correctly. 2. You can always call a judge to stay and/or do a "judge cut". The judge can shuffle the deck last to ensure no weird stacking happens.

At the end of the day, it’s a game. Just have fun

Try not to let bad trigger luck or draws get to you too much. Always try and get something from the game instead of "I got OT'ed" think. Could I have saved a PG or taken less damage, so the OT wasn't as big of a influence?

@@rexflame9 yep that's super vital! I see players neglect something they can actually learn or reaffirm from the game even if a trigger happened. I remember in G Era, I no guarded against a Royal Paladin player while being at 3 damage. I had a PG but decided to "save it for later". I got double Crit'ed. That made it cement in my head to PG if possible in those situations against decks that often deck thin. Double Crit'ing can even be expected as a viable strategy there. So we have to acknowledge it.

@@CommanderJaime Similar thing happened to me at world's, OTT round 1, they swung with a VG with a crit on top guaranteed. I thought I'm at 2dmg and need cb I'll no guard. And he hit me for 3 crits, 4dmg and I died.....could have easily PG'd and been find.

@@Kiryu414 hi there! Looks pretty good and it really takes the style of V Thavas/V Lambros overall. This is another direction that players can still rely on. I do have some thoughts/suggestions. 1. Is Algos the D series or V series? I'm assuming D series since it's a better ride target and great for ride down plays. 2. Do you run into bricking with having enough RGs to rest? If so, I'd recommend the Stoicheia G2 Prodpollen. 3. Have you considered the Stoicheia Order called Frozen Resentment? It can help with consistency on finding combo pieces early on, especially if you need Resters on your Turn 3. 4. Have you considered the new G1 promo, Unseenable Dragon? It can even help defensively if you do Ride down plays too.

@@chrislinge8595 there's a G Reboot server that has custom cards. If that's something that interests you, I recommend checking it out for yourself. I think even they do lore too. It's pretty cool to see people get creative.

@@PYMTCGgoodness yep revival cards are always welcomed in AqF. To an extent, the Sea Strike Enlargluv is a "revival" card too. Just goes to hand, which you can then call the card. Keep me posted.

@@CommanderJaime I agree and I wanna run more enlargluv since I’m into High Synergy cards and high synergy situations. 1 spiritual condensation, habitat or Diantha then Call enlargluv, SB1 call a different G2/3. 1 card makes 2 attackers is just amazing.

@@CommanderJaime It depends on what I have available. As a minimum, I will have 1 unit to re-stand due to Genovious call skill. Usually, I try to have a Repress strike so I can give all triggers to him. Combining that with a few Pursuits/Coral/Nerissa should be enough to win assuming your opponent doesn´t honoly or something like that. Having Miltiadis in hand assures me that I can draw as much as I want to defend myself and then have something to counterattack. (pray that your opponent doesn´t OT)

@@TheLiamBris thanks for sharing. Yeah I feel that is the best case scenario. Coral Assault and Pursuit also shine more on that turn. It's like a mini Furiargus turn too.

Very well thought out and explained. Thank you for taking the time for your feedback. Yes, there's a part of me that wishes we didn't have to rely on a BW RG. The Tetra-boil is a great alternative without having to worry so much about it, but it is weaker like you said. Yep that's the other generic alternative G3s that can help as RGs or VG use cases. Outside of BAL turns, we are still susceptible to disruptive plays. The one alternative is to go wider to be less susceptible to it. I've considered Ruler Thavas as a permanent heart on Turn 4+. Although, we'll be limited to 2 Accel circles (unless we go into Furiargus). Perhaps we can still lean on that and make our Alexandros turns much more impactful. Such as having a 2nd Unseenable Dragon to flip G Zone cards faster. Or Stoicheia cards like Ideal Far Away, Nectar, Lyuoka, etc.

You can if you like to. I mainly rely on Beragios since eventually you'll see him. You can also use the 2nd copy of Tetra too as a RG. Sea Strike and retrieve the 2nd Tetra as well. It's more of an optional play if you have it. Feel free to tweak it to your preference.
