The man's biggest virtue was loyalty. He never wanted to leave Cleveland under any circumstances. Any other player would give everything to play for Peyton. Thomas deserved a ring, even just one playoff game. Still, the man loved Cleveland and stuck to his team. That's loyalty.

I personally played at Tivy. I know you have to go over the coaches head. Yes, there needs to be a play for everyone else ; however, when you have a quarterback like Manziel, you have to let him shine in his own way. That is something the Browns never did.

I wonder how NFL personnel and players cope with sleep deprivation? If a Quaterback is there from 6am to 11pm there is no way he would get his 8 hours and I always though sleep is vital to an athlete's performance?

Joe Thomas has that "classic white boy" hair cut.

It's sad that offensive lineman aren't given a higher profile. Sounds like those guys have one of the hardest jobs in the league.

The O Line is why all those RBs and QBs get all that attention, Jerome Bettis was known to regularly give his O Line Rolex watches and 5 star dinners

I'd say Manziel needed more commitment than most quarterbacks of his built. His failure in the NFL is that he couldn't out-athlete linebackers or safeties. He needed to become a real quarterback, and he probably wasn't willing to put in the time to strengthen the cerebral part of his game to make up for the deficiencies in physical ability.

There's only 32 full-time NFL quarterbacks in the world. Fuck yeah, that is a serious ass position to hold.
