I had brain surgery for an Acoustic Neuroma years ago. So I use a smaller home unit daily to help compensate for my missing vestibular nerve, along with my walking. It has been a great addition. I am glad I found you guys.
Turn to Jesus He loves you, He is the healer of the body And savior of the soul, There is True Hope in Jesus, God protects Psalms 91, He is the God of miracles Acts 2:21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Jesus alone saves Trust Him with your salvation John 3:16 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 Moreover Brethren, i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you, which also ye have received, and with wherein ye stand By which also ye are saved, if you keep in memory what i preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain, For i delivered unto you first of all that which i also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures, Take care
I'm 72 with no cartilage in my knees and forward neck kyphosis. I bought a vibration plate to see if I can work out on it and if it will help improve my posture. This episode it 2 years old and the prices for plates have come down and more features are available. Hoping you will feature this technology again in more upcoming episodes especially for seniors. Thank you.
I know, I didn't know anything about these until recently and am 64 years old with arthritis Cafe sustained multiple injuries from motor vehicle accident. I am often 😅very stiff in the morning and thought this might help. I purchased a cheap unit for $46 including shipping from Walmart. I love it . I am on it all the time. If I wake up in the middle of the night and am achy, I get on it for however long that i want and stay there for however long. I really like when I turn it up to 99. I don't necessarily always do exercises but I try different poses, it really takes the stiffness out. It has allowed me to go to sleep so much easier. All you have to do is stand there and it's like someone is giving you a massage all over.
Hello Guys , To make a long story short ,I have L-5 S-1 spinal stenosis, Peripheral Neuropathy for 2 years, tried everything. I walk for about 30 minutes a day, wear supported shoes. I have a home gym, but have not been able to be consistent . I am 68 years old. I have increased my vitamin D-3 intake Per test as being low , my B-12 is fine . I just recently, purchased a older vibrating machine with holding rails . I am one week in on this and feel that this has improved my condition. I do this in the morning right after my coffee. I set my machine at 25 rather low impact and stand , The only thing that I do is ,but this may take practice is put my arms to my side and raise them up and down like jumping jax but keep my feet fiirmly on the pad..I also lean forward and backwards, side to side while gripping the rails, I don't bend my knees.this I do for 10 minutes. The last thing I do is set my machine to 20 and sit on it and with knees bent cross my legs like a yoga position , slightly lean forward, slightly lean to arch the back . I occasionally stretch my legs out and ,open them wide , close them , bend them ,variations to what feels good, for 10 minutes .This is a total of 20 minutes per day and ,I am feeling good results. The only med I take is Gabapentin 100mg 3 hrs before bedtime , I noticed that if I take it at bedtime ,I do become tired but unable to go to sleep & I never had any problem sleeping , so taking it earlier works for me.I do find that the duration and lower vibration number is key to my particular condition . Shake it up in moderation .
Definitely a plus for health and wellness, I have a ProLifeFitness Rumblex 4D Plus and it has a lifetime warranty it’s a great product, prices are more affordable in 2022! You can put a chair next to it for stability if needed, can sit in a chair with feet on it, the combination of applications is really unlimited, from beginner to advanced!
7:42 7:43 I just the same machine three days ago. I’m really liking it so far. I’m needing it for old people's problems and lymphoedema in my lower legs. I can already see a difference in my legs. Also my back has problems and I am keeping everything crossed is eases the pain.
Late to the game, but my Rumblex Plus is arriving today. I'm excited. I had a bad accident and then a shady physical therapist. Bob and Brad got me back in shape in about 6 months.
I have one of these machines, does not go side to side, but goes up and down. I sit on a chair, due to my weak leg. Has helped to slowly get me better, does the whole body, even while sitting👍
BONE DENSITY Recently saw video by a medical professional who does research re bones RE OSTEOPOROSIS and bone density. Vibration MUST BE 30 hz, OVER 33 hz NO EFFECT ON BONE. Minimum 2 minutes at 30 hz. Recommended 3 x 5 minute sessions/day with 3 or 4 hour gap at least between sessions. Also research found that to get spinal vibration NO BENDING OF KNEES or HIPS as stops vibration excitation travel from continuing through the spine such as to get desired effect on the bone.
I have one of these and have bad balance. I live alone and I put a chair backwards in front of it so I have something like a bar to steady myself with.
I’ve ordered one, I’m hoping it will help with my weak legs and balance. I’m planning on placing it by my kitchen bar so I can hang on it needed. You two was going crazy on that thing! 😂
someone had a brand new $3000 unit called euro body shaper out to the street with a free sign on it... i bought a power cordoff of ebay and its amazing... its like i won the lottery...feels amazing, really wakes you up..
What are your comments? I have a Schwinn AD2 air dyne bike but no longer want to sit down while using it. Now I am an open water swimmer. I have now angled the front part of my bike frame approximately one foot high so that I can lean on the handles WHILE I use my vibration plates to stand on, so that I can emulate swimming and stand up paddleboarding. It is excellent. I no longer have to use my kness (that I was told to replace both) rather I stand using my vibration plates while my upper body is engaged with me pushing/pulling my airdyne handles. Why didn't someone thing of this sooner? Now I can emulate boxing jabs and pulling back with the concentric/eccentric movements with my upper torso forcing me to tighten my core, glutes and hip flexors...... all the while engaging my lower body to maintain balance and stability while my whole body is getting vibrated on my 4D Advenour whole body vibration plate. The fitness industry is dead in the water charging over thousands of dollars, over$2,500 at a minimum to over $6,000 ALL FOR A PATHETIC MACHINE THAT TURNS LIKE THE PEDALS ON A BIKE when a STANDING airdyne bike is so much more flexible and superior. I am literally ready to remove my pedals on my airdyne bike because my legs already get a workout.......................from roller, inline, and ice skating. The feeling is like floating after I get off my plate and stop arm pedaling. My legs and entire body has been massages, while my upper body has just been challenged aerobically and anaerobically. The world is missing out on this and I will post a video of my workout before the end of summer.
I suspect you must have excellent balance and strength to use. I purchased a rebounder for about $100. I can do most of the same exercises. No vibration, but still helps the balance. But, I do appreciate that you guys show new technology.
I’ve read it may not be good, but I didn’t see that until I bought the plate. So I only use it like a couple minutes a day on the lowest speed. I can’t find any good info!!!
Lateral (side to side), &/or Oscillating, (pivotal, rocking, see-saw), don't compare to Lineal,(full platform & body at once up & down). Lineal simulates falling/jumping, which causes muscles to intensely contract in a protective reflex "landing".
Are you guys sure all the exercises you tried on this device are safe/won't cause issues for people? Just wondering if the shaking while lunging would make my knee hurt.
Hi there.. I had sent you a Tweet with a question about whether or not these vibrating exercise platforms were worth the money and the hype. THX for doing a program on this piece of equipment !! I had bought a device on Amazon for under a hundred dollars. However, it only vibrates back and forth.. It doesn't do the three movements that the 'Vitality' plate does. I CAN adjust the speed 1 to 100, . . I have not been using it too faithfully; but I may start using it more often now that you have given this a "thumbs up" !! Love U guys !! (I have been watching many of your programs since I have bad arthritis, shoulder and spine and hand/wrist issues !!) TY
Will you give the best type of vibration for osteoporosis please? I have read that there are 3 types of vibration. I also read that 30hz is recommended. Please give brands that are safe and work well. Please advise. Which machine are you using?
This is sold on Amazon for $525 (free shipping) Daiwa Felicity Fitness Vibration Platform Workout Machine Remote Control & Balance Straps Included Vitality Plate (all questions are answered there.)
The Daiwa Felicity Vitality_plate-849 is what I have. So glad I found your video! For what and when do I use the different modes (horizontal- combination- oscillation)? Why do they call the combo mode 3D? The manual (very lacking in information) says this machine goes to 60hz. I watched a video that said 80hz for 2 minutes is the way to build bone. Any thoughts on that? I get a new left hip in a few months. I want to use the Vitality Plate to get in shape for surgery. Thank you for the tip on using the bands as support. I had been using my cane on it's highest setting in front of the plate for support Your videos are SO HELPFUL! I have the Thermotex platinum infared pad you guys did a video on, also.
You can find that by going back to the top of this page and clicking on "Bob and Brad" and then the information page comes up and over on the right side is Search. Just put in BOSU and all the videos will come up. They have some going back 8 yrs. BOSU Ball: 10 Best Balance Exercises for Athlete & Post Rehabilitation. etc.
Expensive @$525.??? (The "Marodyne" is $3000.!!) Please discuss amplitude controversies re; various WBV ( Whole Body Vibration) equipment. Is "low amplitude" better?
It would be really great if you had a video telling how you felt the day and second day afterwards😉😉. I’d be curious how full-body it is just after your demo.
i bought one in 2022. best equipment ever. prices have come down alot in 4 years since video came out. i use it about 4 times a week. can feel my blood circulating after getting off. i love it i even feel like my legs especially my bones are more solid now. if you have a busy schedule just 10 minutes standing only is equivelant 30 minutes jogging. my heart rate elevates also.
Red flag: "...we strongly oppose using lateral oscillation, which we believe is harmful to the knee joint." And, around 30 Hz is generally used in studies and is considered more beneficial. I've had an oscillating WBV'er for several years, 15 Hz max. The new linear machine arrives tomorrow, up and down motion, 15-40 Hz. VT007, after looking and reading for a long time seems like a good one. Used incorrectly harm could result with these things. Educate yer self!😊
I stopped using my viberation plate, because I felt like I got worse after I was diagnosed with Ataxia. But my plate doesn't have a lower impact as I would like..
Dr Rubin of Harvard Medical School talks re the difference between WBV(whole body vibration) and LIV(low intensity vibration.) He's talking mainly re Osteoporosis. He describes the advantages of LIV over WBV. It looks like the vitality plate is WBV.
Hey guys Happy Thanksgiving! I found you on TH-cam due to a pinched nerve in my neck. I have been following you ever since. My neck is better but now my shoulders are in pain! As a pre- coronaviris excersize enthusiasts I am stuck at go! to the random neck and shoulder pain. Frustrating! Do you this machine would help get rid of the pain and allow me to excersize again? Thanks for all you do!
For a few seconds you exercise your hips. Then you fall off, break your hip and arm, and spend months in a wheelchair, then you do physical therapy to regain the strength to walk again, and in the end, you die. hehehehehehe
I'ts what you want for osteopinia! Use a rebounder too and less sitting. Get Algae Cal now! I don't work for them or anyone. I've researched all this and listened to experts. I've spoken to real people that have improved their bone density by 20% within 2 years! One lady was 77. We need to stop taking rocks that can block arteries, cause kidney stones etc... Algae Cal is plant derived. Please start now walking and sitting as little as possible. Get an inexpensive non computerized, non electric stepper. They are small, light and efficient. Start using hand weights and doing squats. Do you research too, if you haven't already. Good luck. Osteoporosis can be life threatening. Bad bone decrease stem cells and can even cause cancer and so much more. Stay away from milk and other dairy products, too much salt and caffeine. Sleep is important and to destress.
I was diagnosed with osteopenia 2 years ago. I bought a vibration plate from Amazon for $100 and started doing exercises on it. My last bone scan a couple months ago shows I no longer have osteopenia 🤗👍
He showed that it has very low levels, so I would guess a person starts at the lowest level. I'd think a person could use a Walker to hold on to if they needed more stability, as a Walker can be adjusted for height. (Like holding onto a ballet bar. LOL) I'm thinking put the Walker on the floor in front of the machine.
My husband has significant balance issues due to Meniere's and deconditioning. He set it up next to a solid surface. The Lifepro rumblex 4d has resistance bands attached to the machine. When i use it on the low settings, i feel as if i had a good brisk walk. I feel it is worth the money.
I figured out it'll take a year's worth of Planet Fitness Black Card membership to pay for my LifePro Rumblex 4D vibration plate which was on sale recently. Gas cost for my car was figured into it. The only reason I had the Black Card Membership was the vibration plate. Then I left PF even before 2020 with all its hassles. Exercising at home is easy enough for me, & now, with my own vibration plate I'll never have to pay gym membership again.

The match less-expensive machines don't do the crazy side to side vibrations but this one does. I think this one is supposed to have been the mother of all vibration boards and the other ones cheap knock-offs, but I'll take the cheap knockoffs that only cost $126 versus the $500 Vitality board!

What brand is the vitality plate you're showing here? I couldn't find it on the link above. Otherwise, what one do you recommend?
Twerking and flossing🤣☠️
Will it make disk compression worse?
I have a wobble board and it’s a great work out for any age or capability
Have seen various configurations offered on TV. Upon introspection there appears worthwhile>
Are you guys sure all the exercises you tried on this device are safe/won't cause issues for people? Just wondering if the shaking while lunging would make my knee hurt.

Is this okay for knee replacement or hip replacement?
A person who has any type of artificial joints or stents or implants should not use Vibration therapy, you risk dislodging them.

re; various WBV ( Whole Body Vibration) equipment. Is "low amplitude" better?
Would this be suitable for knee replacement therapy? Both knees?
No, I wouldn't use this for this in most cases.
Love you guys! And your info!
So is this good for circulation?
Is this ok if u have had knee replacements
Also, the sound is very very distorted
It would be really great if you had a video telling how you felt the day and second day afterwards😉😉. I’d be curious how full-body it is just after your demo.

I’ve read that people with degenerative disc disease should not use these plates. Do you agree?
Does it cause palpitations?
Is this ok for osteopinia?
Can you use vibration plate with kmee or hip replacements?
No
Twerking Brad! 😂
Like other commenters, I’m worried about usability for folks like me who struggle with balance just standing up. Who is this for?
Its for ppl who actually want to improve threir fitness levels.Anyone at almost any fitness level can use it.
How safe is the Hz on this model?
DUH thats because the machine is on
If I have bad kidneys can I still use this?
Advertising appears after 2 minutes. Me? I switched off.
may cause pain in legs for those with pad
I don't think so. I can't walk on a pier at the marina. No sea legs. Cant do this.
Did u even try?
You can safely stand on a vibrating machine like this with handles at planet fitness for $21 a month
And you can have it at home to use several times a day, when the urge hits. It is well worth the investment.
@@goodintentions1302 Also....Not ALL PFs have the Body Enhancer, the one closest to me does not.
Help with steroid myopathy ?

Moreover Brethren, i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you, which also ye have received, and with wherein ye stand
By which also ye are saved, if you keep in memory what i preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain,
For i delivered unto you first of all that which i also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures
And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures, Take care
There r much less expensive machines. You all r getting a cut of the price. Be honest.
The match less-expensive machines don't do the crazy side to side vibrations but this one does. I think this one is supposed to have been the mother of all vibration boards and the other ones cheap knock-offs, but I'll take the cheap knockoffs that only cost $126 versus the $500 Vitality board!
Cheap is not always better.
