    So informative! Thank you. I really love Dr. Idriss Major Fade Active Seal moisturizer-it has THD, brighteners and peptides. I switched from using l-ascorbic acid products and have found it to be more effective and less irritating at preventing hyperpigmentation plus it is a beautiful formula and relatively affordable. Hi Jodylynn, thanks for the great video. I love peels and my skin responds well when done consistently. I do wonder about whether it is worth it to get them if I have to go off of tretinoin two weeks out of each month. Do you find you can mix the two?

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      What do you mean by mix the two? It depends on your skin as far as what it can tolerate. However, after I'm done peeling I can use my Tretinoin. I only use my Tret 2x a week and t is fine for me to take a 1-week break. I have no problems. The results from the peel, to me, are definitely worth it!

      @@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn thank you so much for your reply. Sorry for being confusing. I was always told to stop retinol one week before and one week after a peel. That would leave only 2 weeks per month to use retinol. I think if I cut usage to maybe once or twice a week during “peel breaks” I wouldn’t have to go off it altogether. Hope this makes sense 🙂 thanks again!

    Good morning. I want to get into RF and am trying to decide between the amiro r3 and the Lumo. I have a nira laser , a nuface, and an LED mask. I am very torn between these 2. If you had to choose between them, who would win?

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I love the R3 because of you can do the under eye area but you can't do the nek with this device. The Lumo, you can do the neck but not the under eye area. They are both great devices. More advanced signs of aging, maybe the Lumo. My biggest fear with the Lumo is that the company got bought out, so I'm not sure of the future of those devices. Just a thought.

    Great video. Can you please tell me, because I’ve been using Makeup Artist’s Choice peels, how are these two brands different? (Platinum) As for my neck, I struggle with over the counter retinol, and I can’t use daily, more of once a month depending on the season. Have your tried Reveral brand for your neck? It isn’t available in Canada, but lots of great reviews.

      Hello my friend! I just saw your other message about you living in Canada when I was visiting the Falls. Where abouts do you live? We had a such a great time! The Makup Artists Choice Peels are different in that they don't have a TCA 7 percent which can be great for sensitive skin, the under eyes and a sensitive neck. What product have you been using from them? Have you tried a retinol alternative? I have not tried the Reveral brand. I need to write that down!

      @@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn I live in Toronto, so Niagara Falls is more beautiful to visit! I made a mistake when typing to you, the name brand for the neck, sold in USA is called Revision nectifirm. For many years, it would get good reviews. Thank you for pointing out that Platinum provide more gentle peel. With Makeup Artist’s Choice, I have used lactic acid, glycolic, and the lowest dosage of tca. I haven’t done peels in awhile, and eventually I will try the peels again, also, I decided not to make anymore purchases of at home devices this year. All your videos are tempting to want to buy another, but I agree with the consistency is the key.

      I love the QT+ and the Ziip, either is great. Actually the Myolift Mini is really the best as it is a more professional machine. However, it is time consuming. Either of those 3 are brillliant!

      @amy9864 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      👍 Grest Video! But I think the Foreo Microcurrent with its muscle stimulator CAN LIFT THE FACE! 😂(whatever it’s called, EMS?)
      I’m in my 60s and own many microcurrent machines, radio frequency machines, LED and Nira etc.
      But I am amazed at how many TH-camrs don’t give the l Foreo the credit it deserves for LIFTING jowls and turkey neck.
      It has done wonders for my jowls and for raising my cheeks and for my double chin and my neck… regular microcurrent could not produce these results!
      I love the Foreo ( the big Pink one), and I swear it keeps my cheeks and jowls from falling, and my neck chiseled!
      Microcurrent alone can help but not lift like this. ( Perhaps the biggest Myolift machine could do a similar job, in my opinion 🤷‍♀️).
      I start by turning on the muscle stimulation and lift my entire face to where I wanted to be! 😂
      I start by lifting my neck all the way up and hold. Then I chisel my jaw sideways until I get it nice and sharp.
      Then I begin by trying to lift my cheeks…. I go vertically up and I hold the Foreo right under the cheekbone pushing up the muscles that holding the fat pads.
      This lifts my cheeks, and also my jowls. Then I work my forehead up and try to lift my upper eyes…. I try not to stretch the upper eyelid too much because that can become very saggy after repeated stretching…. So focus more on the forehead and temple around the eyes if you want the lifted eye look.
      Then I follow with microcurrent for the benefit of the ATP that gives a nice glow and helps to build collagen.
      Another great thing is that it only requires 3-5 minutes. Although at my age, I use it for a good 15-20 minutes three or four times a week. But the results are more lasting than just the microcurrent alone.
