My mom is deaf and taught me sign language as I was growing up and now I'm so proud to be able to teach my son sign language too. He's one and so far he can sign milk and yes :)

I think it would be better if signing was the same in every language. If everyone would learn it we had a language that everyone understands. But we still own our culture with our speaking language

It amazes me how a deaf person can still pronounce some words even when they have never heard words

I love this so much! My 2 year old is profoundly deaf and we sign in ASL with him. His first sign was cookie! 😂❤️

You both are so beautiful my heart is literally bursting with happiness at how caring and BRILLIANT your momma was when you were growing up I’m from the Bay Area started learning ASL 2 years ago as soon as I realized how valuable knowing sign language was I’ve always wondered why they don’t teach it regularly to all children not only to be able to communicate with a huge part of our country but you never know what could happen either hearing loss caused by accidents or someone in your family having that language already would save such a great deal of worry or confusion on communication barriers I love your videos can’t wait to se more lots of love and blessing from California

I’d like to teach my babies sign language because it seems like a brilliant way to get kids to communicate before they have the language skills to do so.

I honestly started to tear up watching you sign along with your book. It’s so cool to see people brought up in different ways and I love learning about other cultures. Once I have the money, I’m going to take ASL classes at my local college. I’m about to start core classes for nursing and I want to be able to communicate with more people. Your videos educate and inspire me everyday ❤️

Aww wow these clips are so precious! To see the first clip of you struggling to blow out your candles and then the second clip of you older blowing them out with such ease literally just made my heart melt! You’ve gave me such an insight into how it is to be deaf and these things like blowing out a candle I never really thought how that could be hard for someone and is took for granted but I’m glad you’re giving us all an insight. Lovely content and such a lovely girl too! I never go out of my way to write a comment but I thought you should know that I’m enjoying your videos and I’m so glad your Siri video has blown up and has got you the recognition you very much deserve!! Much love ❤️❤️

Wow what a great video! Your mom was so great for realizing she had to stay ahead of you with language and doing her best to learn BSL. I wish all families with Deaf kids did the same.

Love the baby clips!! What a cutie! 😍 Thank you both so much for doing a video like this! It's so helpful, and based on how fast you started signing, everyone should learn at least some! That's wonderful your whole family learned too ❤❤❤
