- all the work on the bike ive done myself paint seat fenders etc... hope yall in enjoy the weather in texas is cloudly but ill get it in the sun so you can see the metal flakes.. thanks for the comments....

I know you posted this video a long time ago but I was wondering if that front fender bolted right up or if you had to customize it?
Haven't seen any replies to the comments regarding the apes. I'm picking up a 2001 Volusia this weekend and I have some 12" apes ready to go on, but I was wondering if there's enough slack in the stock cables and stuff that will pull out so I don't have to buy all new cables and extend wiring and such.

i put a desperato rear fender on my bike its just like ur, and i lowered my bike do u have issues with that fender hittn the ground mine likes to do it

I have an 01. looking to get apes but I was thinking around 8 or 9 inch. how hard was the swap? will I need cable extensions? and where do you get your parts if you don't mind me asking.
I have an 04 myself. You can go up to 12" without switching anything and use the stock wires and cables. It's not that hard to do. Just an afternoon should do it.

@@txmade4271 if I remember currently, (bc it's been 10 years) I believe that they were Khrome Werks from Ebay. Roughly about $50 bucks, a few hours and some elbow grease should do ya.
