OMG! YES!! Oddy was the agitator in this whole situation. And Polyphemus became John Wick. Honestly cant blame him. Id be so mad. Which is really why i liked the last animatic you reviewed. The red glowing eyes of the crew made them look the part. It was like seeing things from Polyphemus's perspective. Holy crap i hadnt realized that. There are some insanely talented people who've been inspired by Epic.

You figured out the “quick thought” thing on your own! Nice!! Yes, the instrumental stopping / clock sound when Athena shows up is indeed time stopping/slowing, Athena and Odysseus having a conversation in a different flow of time from the world around them.
I love how intimidating the Cyclops can be in this, that just knowing there is more than 1 can send shivers down your spine after we easily lost 7 men to Polyphemus. And the voice is so good at giving that intimidating feeling.
Brother, please stop limiting your creative interpretations with 'I might be overthinking it' or 'I'm sure he didn't mean for it to be that deep' partly because most of the time you are guessing correctly and weren't overthinking it at all and partly because there are layers to this 'musical', Jorge put considerable thought into it and most of the time it very much IS that deep.

I really liked your ending commentary about rewriting history. If he did come in peace why poison the wine. If the cyclops let them go after drinkong the wine he would have died 🤔. The victor does rewrite history

@@martynbutler3059 he knew “it controls your mind and never lets you free”. He might of thought the cyclops was too big for it to take effect but couldn’t have known for sure
He spikes the wine before it's given to Polyphemus, as Odysseus literally says "he didn't notice I put Lotus in his wine". It wasn't spiked before that, the animatics just don't show the spiking part is all.
