Timothy Corrigan opens his mouth and wonderful ideas pour out! You have created such a charmingly beautiful room in this space. Especially love the greens, the flowers and the bugs. Thank you, Homeworthy!
I enjoyed that! This gentleman combines what I like, classic elegance, joy&happiness, comfort, and good ergonomics. I would feel at home in that room, and in his company too. Thank you for this.
That silver botanical wallpaper is just exquisite! The room is indeed joyful but doesn't feel overly formal. I love those banquets by the fireplace. This is one of the best Kips Bay rooms I've ever seen. 😍
I appreciate his intention to create something stunning and his professionalism. A little too busy for my taste. I'm glad comfort was mentioned as it's high priority!
There’s a lot to enjoy here. The wallpaper is fabulous (I don’t like the picture on the wall but that’s just a personal preference). And it was quite surprising to hear him talking about performance fabrics. Good for him. I liked the cosy curtained nook by the fire particularly. I bet that’s lovely in the winter when the garden theme is less appealing.
Beautiful room, only two fhings i wasnt keen on were the abstract modern painting and the gold flowers in the tulipiere. The flowers are gorgeous but i think they & the vase work against each other, maybe a colour other than gold would be better for me.
Yeah, he chose a gorgeous wall paper and ruined it by placing that horrible painting to cover most of it up. That tulipiere is also totally wrong scale-wise and again, it's right in front of the beautiful fireplace. Two major blunders in an otherwise beautiful room.
It’s a stunningly beautiful room - even though it may not be your style, you can appreciate the elegance, the wonderful fabrics, and the architecture. I love putting in the banquettes to be able to use the space by the fireplace. The only items I didn’t like were the leaf shaped pieces hung on the drapery by the fireplace. Other than that, everything was fabulous.
He has an incredible eye for details. Plus, I have seen his beautiful L.A. home, and his elegant Paris apartment. Regrettably, the only way my children would ever be allow in this gorgeous “family room” would be on their respective engagement parties. And for only two hours tops.
TC is amazing! I love his personal homes. He is so approachable and teaches vs being a snob. Nothing we don't like about him! Big fan! What is the green velvet? Will you be posting more of the KIPPS BAY home?
Incredibly beautiful! Not overly decorated but ambrosia for the eyes. I’m crazy about bugs (not really live one’s!); and yours are used so artfully. My living room draperies are silk material covered with bugs 🐛 🐞 and I love them. Thanks for this wonderful tour!
What an amazing and inviting room. There is definitely lots of European elegance to the space. I love that it is always about comfort and livability for Timothy Corrigan. Thanks so much for sharing.
What a great design that Timothy Corrigan has accomplished. His narrative behind the various elements brought it to life. I hope whoever eventually buys the home appreciates his work and keeps it just as it is!
Overall not my favorite but I enjoy certain elements in this room. The silver leaf wallpaper is the chef’s kiss. Love the cozy banquet seating flanking the fireplace. Would love to snuggle and read a book on that bench.
Such a fun room. We picked up a very nice blue & white porcelain planter from Tony Duquette's estate sale here in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. So nice to see his golden flowers at 10:15.
I think the colors are fun and refreshing. Not too keen on the large white leaves on either side of the fireplace or the gold tulip base in front of the fireplace. Just my opinion but otherwise beautiful.
It’s beautiful, but, so often, as I think is the case here, “livable” for average folk is a whole lot further down the scale from the concept held by these designers to the rich and famous. I would be on my best “museum” or “showplace” behavior in that living room. Kicking my shoes off to eat popcorn and watch Shark Tank reruns as I do in my living room? Ummm, no.
Everything works except that painting. It kills the whole design. Could have worked better with a portrait or not artwork at all. The wallpaper is itself a piece of art.
That is a very ugly painting. The rest is good in a "we have too much money" way. I'm impressed to finally hear a designer speak about the importance of comfort.
People will say the most surprising things, @@susanseverance9683. I have an unconventionally bright shade of green on my walls and people often let me know they don't like it.
I usually appreciate Mr.Corrigan's work but this room doesn't please me, it seems like he couldn't make up his mind and poured every thing in it, rough furniture and sophisticated elements. Talking about comfort, for exemple the glass table might be a great occasion to hurt one' s knee when raising up from a white soga. The fabric on the wall with the lamps on it ? Too heavy, lack of délicatesse. And the round table with this big tall blue flower ... defies stability.
Too much. The wall paper, green sofas and centerpiece is way to loud and busy. I prefer the original look of the room. So much more charm and character..........
I admit it's beautiful, but planning your entire room based on a wallpaper? What if the owner want to change the wallpaper? Why would you cover a window? Other than privacy issue, I'm sure the owner would appreciate any source of natural light. And the tulip thing looks dangerous. What if it falls down while a child being near it?
In my eyes, no one is a better interiors magician. Some have more hype, but Corrigan is the best.
He actually approached the room sensibly. How refreshing.

I’m a fan of Timothy Corrigan. I knew the room would be fabulous!
Also has a little hint of Palm Beach which I like!! ⭐️

So glad he made the career switch. He’s got a fantastic eye and is so talented.

He’s one of my top favourite designers on this earth. Himself and Tony Duquette 💜
Truly exquisite. The balance between elegance/magnificence and comfort ❤❤ It's so inviting!
Love Timothy.....always amazing
Love the wallpaper. Hope that it is released commercially. Stunning!
I love him! His design is stunning! Reminds me sort of, of old Hollywood ❤❤❤❤❤
Homeworthy- please do a follow up video on Timothy Corrigan’s chateau renovation
Right! I’m glad you mentioned this !
I love the salmon colour
He is burning like a flame while sharing his vision, and I mostly like he is doing it so friendly and open👍
Very enjoyable episode. Thank You.
Timothy Corrigan never disappoints. Well done, Timothy!

This room makes me feel joyful, too!! Thank you, Timothy Corrigan, for creating such a wonderful room for all of us to learn from and enjoy!

Agreed!

Perfectly Splendid Room. Mr. Corrigan is truly a genius.
This felt like a master class and was so fun to watch!
I’m a fan of modern/contemporary design but this is nice
Cheers from San Diego California

If I had a mansion I’d hire Timothy Corrigan!

I love the green small sofa with Tassels
I’m looking forward to seeing this room Wednesday! Loved the tips Timothy gave.
What an amazing and inviting room. There is definitely lots of European elegance to the space. I love that it is always about comfort and livability for Timothy Corrigan. Thanks so much for sharing.
Not only is this transformation gorgeous, this whole video was super educational. I learned so much from him! Wow! Love it! Love it!

STUNNING! You are so talented.
Stunningly beautiful and I enjoyed the story of putting it together. Wow! It would be a fun room to live in.
Absolutely stunning and joyful !
This is lovely. So much better than the library. Pity about that room.

Oh my gosh lucky you! I’d die to have one!
loved it............!
Everything in the room is gorgeous
I just picked a green velvet to refurbish a heirloom sofa. I'm confident I made the right choice after seeing these green benches.
Beautiful silky wallpaper, lovely and joyful room. Thanks
Stunning.
Gorgeous room! It would have been nice if Mr. Corrigan mentioned the artist of the abstract landscape!
The only thing missing is the before picture , absolutely stunning room
BRAVO, maestro!
Beautiful house
Mr Corrigan, when will we get to see what you have done with your French chateau you purchased a few years ago?
He gives updates on his Instagram account.
@@jiminhart Thank you!
Gorgeous ❤
I love how he describes rooms as "successful".
I really like it !
💜 from Canada!
looking for a Bronfman/Fallis homeworthy episode
I think the colors are fun and refreshing. Not too keen on the large white leaves on either side of the fireplace or the gold tulip base in front of the fireplace. Just my opinion but otherwise beautiful.
I prefer the pink walls of the original room.
Ugh I was hooked until I heard "show house" again

This is the house Hannah Bronfman grew up in. Her mom is looking to sell it after Kips Bay is over.
Beautiful room, call it was is a Living room, not a Family room, that dresses it down!
Lol they thought it was "overwhelming" before...and now it's an overdesigned, super busy space
Greetings from California. Excellent videos. Happy Easter from our channel: Australian Parakeets Stars* Prince Alexander
The living room is nice but that abstract painting is just way too busy.
would of like to seen the guts of the entire building prior to the decorating.not just one room
Everything works except that painting. It kills the whole design. Could have worked better with a portrait or not artwork at all. The wallpaper is itself a piece of art.
🌈💝💐
That is a very ugly painting. The rest is good in a "we have too much money" way. I'm impressed to finally hear a designer speak about the importance of comfort.
😂 I thought the same thing about the painting.
Get rid of the modern painting, the big 'leaves' - and the snakes.
Too much. Far too much. Shame on such beautyful architecture. And the painting does NOT work with the wallpaper. Gaudy.
Call a spade a spade. That painting over the botanical wallpaper is a joke.
Before was lovely , just needed refresh ..looks very over done now ..almost tacky
wall paper is great bur picture on it is ugly.
Sorry but it’s gawdy
Yep, they try to make it seem like it was "too colorful" before lol
I wonder, would you say this if you walked into someone's house?
People will say the most surprising things, @@susanseverance9683. I have an unconventionally bright shade of green on my walls and people often let me know they don't like it.
@@susanseverance9683 hmm,I wonder.
Why do designers use so much fabric? Dust. Yuck.

oh come on...a room you can really live in? no. maybe the front half.
Too much. The wall paper, green sofas and centerpiece is way to loud and busy. I prefer the original look of the room. So much more charm and character..........

Amazing building, ugly interior.
