It’s really intriguing that the Pyro Throne was only established after Xbalanque defeated the Pyro Dragon Sovereign. This means that the Primordial One didn’t manage to defeat all the Sovereigns. Was the Pyro Sovereign too strong or did it flee from the Primordial One?
Probably few died and others went beneath the seas etc. Like hydro dragon was died and to avoid his birth, shade of life created egeria from heart of primodial sea. Only after her death, he was born. Also werent ppl saying that pyro sovereign killed shade of death ? (One of shade of primodial). So pyro soverign is kinda strong. I wonder if nebuleng is dragon king of 7 dragons or if he was one of the 7 dragon who was powerful and others called him king. Hoyo need to clarify this.
My interpretation of murals in the world quest is that the original sovereign was defeated and the throne was established prior but the dragons came back later and killed one of the 4 shades and burned the "silver tree" in Natlan. Presumably regaining the authority in the process.
Genshin : so turns out there's this extremely technologically advanced civilization that was there before humans that was thriving until a higher power came and reduced it all to ashes and now all we have is poorly understood ruins and very few records and living things. Also there's a giant tree with all the information in the world. And an ensemble of different material and immaterial worlds somehow connected to each other and sometimes they switch. Honkai: first time?
When Ashikai theorizes: master crafted theory video When I theorize: *the abyss is repelled by raw elemental energy**slimes have raw elemental energy* WHY DON’T WE JUST TAKE ALL THE SLIMES AND SHOVE THEM INTO THE ABYSS
It's nice when the game actually remembers somekind of ability a character did a long time ago. makes the traveler less generic MC by further emphasizing their unique powers
i wish they'd remember it sooner. like i was so excited the game remembered its own words but i find it very convenient how the traveler just suddenly remember it can purify things with abyssal energy right now of all places
Something I've been thinking about is the fact that the Travelers were observed before arriving to Teyvat and that they might even arrived because people wished on them as stars... So maybe Lumine arriving to Natlan was one of the pieces of the plan and why the Archon had to travel 500 years forward, that besides the accumulation of memories of the 6 heroes. So when Mavuika told the traveler that she knows more about them that they can possibly anticipate, maybe she knows that Khaenria was observing them..... Or even she met the other sibling... There's a lot to unpack in this chapter of the story, and it fits since in the next phase in Sneznaya we are probably going to hear about the nature of the heavenly principles and the plan against them, knowing more about the abyss and the role of the twins in the story seem fitting... But who knows, theory-crafting is not my forte , I love it but I'm way to lazy to do all the work and sometimes I can anticipate stuff but it's like 50/50.
With all the emphasis this patch on how elemental energy is the best way to combat the Abyss and Traveller being nearly immune to the Abyss, and elemental energy being the original power of the ancient dragons and the Traveler being able to control elements in a way no one else can, we don't seem to be beating the "The Twins are actually dragons from old Teyvat" allegations in Natlan. "Makes you wonder what a Celestial Nail even is" OH SHIT. If Celestial Nails are made out of the collective consciousnesses of people (seelies? dragons? vision bearers?), used by Celestia without their consent.... ;.;
Worth noting: Mavuika DIED. When she “placed her life into the sacred flame” it burned away her original body. She came back bc presumably the previous archon before her current life revived her before dying themself. And bc all the archons following her likely have some of her memories, similar to how ancient name bearers have memories of past bearers. So the archon 500 years after she offed herself would know to revive her just in time. Also if she’s IN the sacred flame and not in the night kingdom, then she can be revived without her consciousness being washed away into the overall night kingdom. I say this bc she came back as a regular person and was selected as Archon again due to her great strength. Also this does indeed mean it may he possible to revive Xbalanque. If he did the same thing as Mavuika, then her plan might just be to revive him somehow. (Maybe to sacrifice the collective ancient names to give him enough power to defeat the abyss in the night kingdom once and for all. Bc all those ancient names carry a TON of memories, which translate to a ton of elemental energy.
I don't think Chasca is the Flower Feather Clan Hero, because if she was then Mavuika wouldn't have told the group about the plan. Mavuika made it very clear that she does know who the heroes are, but she needs them to discover the true meaning of their name and their mission for themselves. If it was Chasca, Mavuika wouldn't have said anything or waited for when she wasn't present. I think it's going to be Ifa- the Saurian vet who has only been mentioned in NPC dialogue and the Natlan character's voice lines. He's explicitly stated to be from the Flower Feather Clan and at this point we know that a character has to be playable or plot important if multiple characters mention them. Unless they bring up someone else, it's likely going to be him.
There's no certain way for Chasca to conclude that she's one of the heroes, thus I doubt it's an issue for Mavuika to talk about it infront of Chasca. That would only be possible if Chasca were to be the only ancient name bearer in her tribe, but we do know that there can be more than one ancient name bearers in each tribe. Mavuika doesn't specify that the hero of Flower-feather clan is Chasca, and the ambiguity of it should not harm the opportunity for Chasca to discover the meaning of her ancient name.
that'll be kinda rare considering that Genshin PVs use the characters related to the AQ, but Natlan seems to be the kryptonite for pattern seekers so it may be possible.
@@turtleismyreligion879 I still think, going by Mavuika's character, that she wouldn't take that risk. Otherwise, why not be just as ambiguous with everyone else to at least have them be aware. It just doesn't seem like a smart move to have Chasca even be aware that the plan exists, given how serious Mavuika takes having her people find their own inner flame. Of course I am open to being wrong and that Hoyo really is going to play this as straight as possible. I just am open to the possibility that they're going to throw in a few big twists in Natlan. PS: I was also going to consider the fact that Chasca's original tribe isn't known because she was raised in the wild for a majority of her formative years. But I don't think Natlan's lore would be so strict that blood will determine such a thing (in other words- if the Wayob recognize her as part of the Feather clan, then she is part of the Feather clan.)
@@pinkraven7043 the thing is chasca was raised by the Qucasaurs, and they are the representatives of the flower-feather clan/anemo-using saurians (meaning they use and live off phlogiston in some capacity). No one is really as close to them as she is, to the point where she’s almost one of them in a large capacity (such as the temperment she has being portrayed to us in the quest being similar to that of a territorial or aggressive animal at times) because of that environment.
Natlan is so different in just how it FUNCTIONS that combined with the complete lack of travellors or even really mention of it anywhere else in the world, this nation feels like its not in Teyvat at all in a way? Like, its not a secret that the Archon is a lineage of humans inheriting the legacy, so why did NOBODY bring it up when everything with Furina came out? It should be common knowledge everywhere in Teyvat bc plenty of tourists travel TO Natlan and that seems like a helluva thing to be able to tell everyone when you get home! Same with "most of their warriors know what death is like and are totally casual about it bc they just come back" and "it turns out there used to be dragons ruling the world and human civilisations functioned around them but theres no sign left anywhere but Natlan" and so on, its made this nation feel like its in some sort of pocket dimension where only people like Neuvilette and Furina can actually remember anything about Natlan bc of gnosis privilege or something, and to the rest of Teyvat Natlan...exists, and something stops them thinking any further than that I hope its intentional, like, there IS a consequence for them apparently not being properly connected to Irminsul (since they dont have proper Leylines aka Irminsul's roots, could that mean that the world's memory doesnt have a proper grasp of this nation and everyone in it, like a faulty version of Wanderer's situation?) and Hoyo is playing the long game, but even if it is it doesnt change the fact that the actual experience of playing the game leaves you weirdly jarred when you step out of Natlan and remember all the interconnected storytelling of Teyvat functioning as a whole instead of just isolated areas that makes it feel alive as a world. Its like Natlan is missing out on something crucial to the Genshin experience Am i making any sense 😅
Wayob's are actually referred to as Collective Consciousnesses in book you find as part of Hidden Exploration Objective "Miracles of the Dreamseeker Priest" - you can find it on wiki if you don't want to look around Natlan, although it's interesting one.
Finally people can stop speculating if the flower feather clan is the pyro tribe or the anemo tribe now that ashikai has come and said that it's meant to be the anemo tribe, it makes no sense to have a dedicated pyro tribe when all of the tribes are using the power of pyro through the archon and the sacred flame
@@bisayafascist5725 consider that Natlan's main color scheme is red and green, with anything scared flame or phlogiston related being red+green, everything from the grainfruit to the long-necked rhinos
@@bisayafascist5725anemo really dont have a color scheme on them and can be any color it want. all the Anemo characters have different color schemes such as Wanderer is blue and white, Heizou is white and golden brown, Xianyun is mostly Black, Faruzan has like a pastel light blue/teal blue etc. so Flower Feather Clan could be any color coz air can be Hot, Cold, or Warm.
Im once again reminded that Askikai should be a voice actor for anime. Definitely has the right voice. Also, the lore part is neat, since. You know. Thats why we're here. To add to that, the idea of Phlogiston (the scientific name was also Phlogiston) was actually pulled from an 18th century scientific theory explained as "the principle of fire". Which explains a lot in Natlan.
I'm just stoked for what the Traveler gets as an ancient name because that's gonna be so telling for how the story will go. My personal hope is that it involves something like "weaving", "one who lays", "connection", or "founder" because that could indicate that Traveler could help achieve the same event that was attempted with the Loom of Fate, creating new leylines for Natlan. I think the construction of new leylines would be a good way to end the need for the Pyro Archon and use the stored memories of the Night Kingdom to give these unique shapes. Essentially, I'm hoping that the end result of Natlan takes inspiration from the Nazca Lines in the real world
Your myths are really cool! Mexico was the cradle of a lot of civillisations with their own cultures and stories, you should be very proud to share these traditions^^
I feel like even though natlan is supposed to be inspired by civilizations around the ring of fire it is also somewhat inspired dy ancient Greece mualani going into the kingdom of the dead to rescue someone dear to her, kinda like Orpheus. That dragon with the name I won't bother with stealing the phlogiston and giving it to the humans is kinda like what prometheus. In general the focus on human heros and their exploits and how people in natlan prove their valor in the stadium which is designed kinda like an amphitheater
So, hear me out. If Natlan isn't connected to the rest of Teyvat's ley lines, does that mean the people here might actually remember certain things like tales of Greater Lord Rukkhadevata? Especially since they border Sumeru.
I don’t know how relevant this is for what Phlogiston is in the lore of Genshin, but a TH-cam channel called Chemistorian made a recent video about the history of the theory of Phlogiston and how it lead to the discovery of oxygen.
About the Wayob, in Maya, Wayob is the plural form of Uay (or way, pronounced why). Hyv probably named them “Wayob” because they are a collective consciousness, multiple Uay in one.
This reminds me a lot of the "Abyss" in Mage The Awakening, it's a realm of magic that is anti-reality kinda, like a donut hole, the hole of a donut is a empty space, but the concept of donut holes as a product gives a real physical form to something empty and non-existant. Anyway, one of the main concepts of the campaign I was in was, "Only with everything, can you defeat nothing." Feels fitting for Mavuika's plan.
the way I actually paused and said "shut up🤯" out loud when you mentioned the leyline outcrop colors = celestial nails. Never noticed that!! Great video as always
22:05 Bad news, he have a companion who is a relic of an ancient time that caught Enjou's attention, and he want Kinich dead so he can take him over In story telling wise, it make Kinich goes to the "this is bad" character red flag tier, below the big 3: Albedo, Lisa and Childe
I was watching your simulanka video as I started the archon quest and hearing you talk about how the traveler might be more of a ‘witness’ to the world’s events rather than the true hero while not getting to participate in the tournament was a really interesting overlap. I thought they were going to pull some black magic “able to control the phlogiston” or something to make them eligible so it was really satisfying to see that pan out.
Her talking about “thoughts can become things (and vice versa)” reminds me of two things: mass and energy being the same thing expressed different ways and Destiny 2’s plotline. In Destiny, light and dark were seen as two opposites. An objective good and an objective bad (more literally though we've come to find out that the Light has dominion over the physical world and creates things while the Darkness lives in mental space and can utilize memory). A few years ago they were finally recognized as two sides of the same coin. Necessary for balance. Under that context, it slowly stopped being taboo for people to use the powers of the darkness. The Final Shape was actually pretty focused on tearing down ALL barriers between the two. This came in the form of Prismatic. The Guardian can use not only the three elements of the light at the same time, but the current two of the dark as well (rather than being attuned to one of the 5 separately like the Traveler in Genshin is or how the Guardian is the rest of the time). Maybe we’ll see the Traveler using powers from the abyss at some point (maybe after the Cryo Archon shenanigans). This also raises the idea that there could be an abyss equivalent to the elemental powers. In Destiny the flavors of space magic interact with their own concepts from physics, the light can come in the form of Solar (fire/ energy), Arc (lighting/ electromagnetism), and Void (This is debatable but its usually cited as gravity). In contrast, you have the Darkness with (so far) Stasis (Ice/ a reduction in entropy) which runs opposite to solar in both color and function and Strand (taps into another layer of reality made of the the connections between all living things) which runs similarly to Arc (but opposite in color) as electrons are the fundamental particles of electromagnetism. Electrons are also elementary particles. Elementary particles are (theorized to be) made up of “strings” which is seen as string theory. This is funny given strand is represented by ropes and strings and a lot of verbs around it focus on “weaving” and “severing” things. The layer of reality revealed by it and which interact with to use strand is called the weave and everything. All of that is to say: Maybe we will see some abyss variants of the elements. The antiparticles to the particles of the physical elements. Every electron needs its positron right?
10:35 I feel like it might be easier to find them because the ancient names act like an address, you can "search up" the ancient name and find the current bearer.
I love this video! I’m so hype for future Natlan theories especially Capitano plz explain what the hell was that “you heard something from here didn’t you” line 😭
i have a theory that at the end of the game every quest item that we gathered through the story quests will be consumed just like what the pyro archon did with the items of the ancient bearers.
This video actually helped clear up so much information for me, because so many different names we're mentioned at similar times during quests and lore in the game that they made me think certain names were referring to the same people I had it in my mind Xablanque was the person with sage of stolen flame not that someone came before and Xablanque inherited a prophecy where he became Archon One thing I do want to point out though is just a random not heavily supported theory I had about Natlan that being the Obsidian Monuments and Amulets actually being fossilized separated remains of the Pyro Sovereign purely because of the feather like shape and because I didn't understand what a Wayob was yet, this could just be nothing or maybe it could be something to think about but I thought I'd share it either way Can't wait for when we get into the real theories though
Great video as usual! But seriously, what are the chances that Xbalanque would actually be a playable character? I'm so desperate to know at this point help-
We might only speculate as in maybe he will be brought back by Mavuika by the Ode of Resurrection. You can also go and "dig" some more on your own on other sites, but until we get a confirmation, nothing is clear.
just from a marketing standpoint probably zero considering mavuika is showcased as the 'archon' for natlan just like furina was for fontaine and nahida is for sumeru. Bringing back another pyro archon would be pointless and just downplay the current one. The pyro sovereign is more likely
@Ashikai theres a theory that i want to share that i think you might find interesting. what if capitano is xblanque? before his fight with mavuika he says that it falls to him to create new rules for natlan. we know that the rules for natlan, as in normal people becoming archons was originally created by xblanque. so why would capitano say that the job of creating new rules falls to him specifically? unless he was the one who made the first rules. theres also the fact that after the battle with mavuika, we saw a weird wound on his chest. it wasnt as if he was burned rather he had fire within him. this would make sense if he was entombed in sacred flame. another detail is mavuika is kind of shocked after the battle because she sensed something unusual from him. we also saw xblanque talk about nuvi. but if you think about it, xblanque died way before nuvi even existed since nuvi only came alive 500 years ago. well, capitano also says that the oath from 500 years ago remains unfulfilled. but how would he know about it? maybe it was because he also time traveled like mavuika but not to the present day. instead he traveled from the start of the human-saurian civilization 500 years ago because he predicted or heard of a prophecy of the cataclysm. since then he has been working with the tsaritsa and preparing a plan of his own to fight the abyss. as for the cryo powers he has, those could easily be explained in one of two ways. 1. a cryo gnosis from the tsaritsa 2. a cryo vision since he might be from the masters of the night wind. we dont really know which tribe xblanque was from so this might be possible Anyway I hope you research this a little and see if it all connects
You absolutely have to revisit your world structure theory now. I've been doing some theorizing too using the information and ideas you've presented and I'm super excited to see what you come up with lol
Ashi Bait right here: I bet Deshret is behind it all. I bet he made the Wayob. I bet he’s secretly behind the night kingdom. I bet he knew Xbalanque. And I bet he’s key to the story somehow.
If you read Scions of the Blazing Sun description it states that Deshret contended against the Bright Sun but then fell to the earth like a meteorite, we still don't know if the Bright Sun is Xbalanque but it would be funny if it's him.
the night kingdom is a mix between Xibalba, the Kong cosmogram and Patakatifu. Patakatifu can be linked to the stadium which is also a temple wonder if she'll she this 🤔
the Kong cosmogram also explains how mavuika is able to retrieve souls and how she is the sun that never set's the little hint the dev's left in the live stream
Thanks for this kind of content. I've finally madr sense of it now..understanding the sacred flame a little more. Kinich's story quest supports ehat you said because in the ritual part, we use the sacred flame to erase those abyssal blob things or whatever they are properly called. I juat did that story yesterday.
@Ashikai I intentionally seek out and stay to the end of your videos - I wish I had the self discipline to read all the things and do extra research, but I don't. Your insights and theories always make me even more excited and in love with Teyvat. Thank you for your service, and don't worry about how long it takes to put your puzzle pieces together.
I'm so scared that they will decide to make Capitano Xbalanque, due to both of them being masked figures with dragon motifs, because that will be a bummer, but hopefully this isn't the case, hopefully 😅
What I do think, is that he's related to the Wayob in some type of way, in his fight with Mavuika he doesn't control ice per sé, he launched and summoned pillars of cold obsidian, the same obsidian that the wayob are made out of, maybe he's an obsidian gollem/wayob with a fragment of previous archons consciousness in him
ngl natlan feels like such a whole new world instead of just a part of teyvat. i get that every nations have their own uniqueness but natlan just feels otherworldly unique with the amount of things like the night kingdom, wayob, ancient names etc. lore-wise only, this is probably the most overwhelmed i've ever been going to a new nation in teyvat😂 i can't wait for snezhnaya (and khaenri'ah too but we already had a few key informations about khaenri'ah along traveler's journey that would help)
So every nation is an artifact,, huh? Like other than 2 boy chilling in a bathtub 5 feet apart (Anemo and Geo), every other archont is a female, and also have a wierd thing with a duplicate or sister or whatever. BUT It kinda falls perfectly into that theory about devs talking the inspiration for the artifacts. Entire story of Inazuma is about time. Netlan is about life. That makes me believe that Snezhnaya is represented by crown of Logos, What does it mean i have no idea, but it sounds cool.
Great video! :D When I read the artifact sets and the books from Natlan, I got the feeling that the advanced dragon civilization happened after the Primordial One defeated the dragons, and it survived up until Nibelung tried to defeat Celestia by using abyssal power... I don't think I have proof for this, but it was just the feeling i got while reading it...
I wonder if Traveler's forged ancient name will be Yacatecuhtli or Tezcatlipoca. I'm super curious about what name we'll get and if just by the memory of all our acts in Teyvat so far, our ancient name glows like crazy and makes the pyro sacred flame go turbo nitro.
talking about puzzle when the grand puzzle championship started today in Spain :D (I do wanna mention that looking at irl connections of different region folklore, there are lots of connections to be made as well, especially with egyptian, so I don't think you went on another tangent bringing in Sumeru desert world quests :D)
and the new quest of Kinich says that he(his ancient name) and Ajaw can have a piece of Xbalanque power, maybe the little minecraft chameleon has sort of use in future
Can't believe even ashikai missed the fact that we see the first depiction of nibelung.17:36 the black dragon is almost certainly nibelung and not the pyro sovereign, in the quest right after we see this mural we are greeted by a lore text in black background which heavily hinting the black dragon being nibelung coming back from beyond.
I'll assume that the 0:24 clip was an ad 🤣 Tsurumi Island also has some VERY Night Kingdom vibes and with the Thunderbird. There's also the "Mistress" The spirit Boatmen mentions might have ties to Ronova as well.
Tl;dw: ley lines are like Ethernet cables and the night kingdom it's like wifi. Wayobs and name bearers are like routers. Connection in Natlan is having interference. Memories are the internet.
YAYYY I've been waiting for a Natlan video let's gooo 🎉🎉 I wonder if Ashikai did Kinich's quest that dropped recently involving Enjou/Sanka because I felt a lot of foreshadowing in it, we'll see
I usually wait a bit and try to understand things a bit more, but this time, I felt it's okay. I'm still not sure I get how the Night Kingdom came to be (btw, the timestamp for the two worlds is invalid, I think it's 35, not 65). Because on one hand you theorize what leaked from the Ley Lines formed the Night Kingdom, but on the other, that the Night Kingdom is older... So either the Ley Lines roots growing in the Night Kingdom isn't right, or whatever leaked from the Ley Line, it leaked into an already existing Night Kingdom, but then I'm not sure what it created... Or maybe I understood something wrong, I don't know. And pointing out that the Traveler probably generate an annihilation reaction and it wasn't a purification ability makes so much sense. Big fan of that. Made my brain go click.
20:31 it depends if he was already dying it would be unlikely else he would only remain alive for a very short time. It worked for the current pyro archon because she was still young and had more life to live.
it is so frightening to know that every patch we learn more about how powerful celestia is and the feats Phanes has. homeboy not only slaughtered an entire nation of dragons but they also had some of the most advanced technology we’ve seen. celestia just sitting in the sky asleep, whew only time can tell what’ll happen when they awaken.
I really wanna see Bennett enter natlan end him losing all his bad luck. The theory that he is from natlan just works so well. With mualani talking about luck in her story quest I couldn't stop thinking about our pyro boy

Bc all those ancient names carry a TON of memories, which translate to a ton of elemental energy.
17:14 at this point this is your own Rick roll
It is 😂
I don't think Chasca is the Flower Feather Clan Hero, because if she was then Mavuika wouldn't have told the group about the plan.
She was in the teaser, so far, everyone who catched the ball seems to be the hero
Same with "most of their warriors know what death is like and are totally casual about it bc they just come back" and "it turns out there used to be dragons ruling the world and human civilisations functioned around them but theres no sign left anywhere but Natlan" and so on, its made this nation feel like its in some sort of pocket dimension where only people like Neuvilette and Furina can actually remember anything about Natlan bc of gnosis privilege or something, and to the rest of Teyvat Natlan...exists, and something stops them thinking any further than that
I hope its intentional, like, there IS a consequence for them apparently not being properly connected to Irminsul (since they dont have proper Leylines aka Irminsul's roots, could that mean that the world's memory doesnt have a proper grasp of this nation and everyone in it, like a faulty version of Wanderer's situation?) and Hoyo is playing the long game, but even if it is it doesnt change the fact that the actual experience of playing the game leaves you weirdly jarred when you step out of Natlan and remember all the interconnected storytelling of Teyvat functioning as a whole instead of just isolated areas that makes it feel alive as a world. Its like Natlan is missing out on something crucial to the Genshin experience
Am i making any sense 😅
oh yeah!
been waiting for this. Been a fan since the Wanderer character breakdown you released, even named him Shinji
i'm so ready for the ult deshret video you teased in your latest livestream (we moved to natlan but mentally i'm still with deshret's lore)
Wayob's are actually referred to as Collective Consciousnesses in book you find as part of Hidden Exploration Objective "Miracles of the Dreamseeker Priest" - you can find it on wiki if you don't want to look around Natlan, although it's interesting one.
Ashikai video jump scare
Finally people can stop speculating if the flower feather clan is the pyro tribe or the anemo tribe now that ashikai has come and said that it's meant to be the anemo tribe, it makes no sense to have a dedicated pyro tribe when all of the tribes are using the power of pyro through the archon and the sacred flame
kinda obvious from the get go but then again this community of ours is quite special in many ways
Yeah but why are they colored Red? Because it would be weird seeing red tribal warriors throwing green colored attacks.
@@bisayafascist5725 consider that Natlan's main color scheme is red and green, with anything scared flame or phlogiston related being red+green, everything from the grainfruit to the long-necked rhinos
I'm just gonna leave Heizou here and let's all think about that sometimes colors are just for aesthetic@@bisayafascist5725
It's not the autoplay, Ashikai. I am genuinely interested in everything Genshin you cook up.
Wow Pyro Sovereign and Xbalanque together like Ajaw and Kinich! I haven't thought of that! ;o
I needed this Ashikai video😅. Natlan's lore is very complex. I had doubts about many things.
Yay I've been waiting for a Natlan video from you!
Essentially, I'm hoping that the end result of Natlan takes inspiration from the Nazca Lines in the real world
As a mexican, I love hearing names of our ancient deities like Tlaloc in these new theory videos
First thing to do once Mavuika arrives is to check the "About" section regarding other Archons.
Natlan connect with teyvat’s leyline
The connection is just weak
9:34 Now that you mentioned it, the effects is almost the same as someone who lost a vision in Inazuma. I startingto see it connection.
I don’t know how relevant this is for what Phlogiston is in the lore of Genshin, but a TH-cam channel called Chemistorian made a recent video about the history of the theory of Phlogiston and how it lead to the discovery of oxygen.
So wind and fire 🤔
Hmm very suspicious
Abyss twin having the ability to basically weave new leylines and Natlan needing leylines is verrrry interesting right about now.
Great video as always
ok basically night kingdom is literally Plato's Hyperuranium (Place where ideas are)
I was WAITING refreshing your channel for a new video. Thank you queen ❤
Haha no I heard the end because I listened to the whole thing, no autoplay here! Thanks again for pulling all this info together!!
22:05
Bad news, he have a companion who is a relic of an ancient time that caught Enjou's attention, and he want Kinich dead so he can take him over
In story telling wise, it make Kinich goes to the "this is bad" character red flag tier, below the big 3: Albedo, Lisa and Childe
"I may have to fill in the gaps with some...Speculation"
And I am literally jumping for joy at that, please continue
“ASHIKAI, WE LOVE YOU!” we all cheer in unison
Has anyone thought about the fact that we have never seen Xiangling and the pyro archon in the same room?
XIANGLING OPPA
I love this video! I’m so hype for future Natlan theories especially Capitano plz explain what the hell was that “you heard something from here didn’t you” line 😭
i have a theory that at the end of the game every quest item that we gathered through the story quests will be consumed just like what the pyro archon did with the items of the ancient bearers.
This video actually helped clear up so much information for me, because so many different names we're mentioned at similar times during quests and lore in the game that they made me think certain names were referring to the same people I had it in my mind Xablanque was the person with sage of stolen flame not that someone came before and Xablanque inherited a prophecy where he became Archon
One thing I do want to point out though is just a random not heavily supported theory I had about Natlan that being the Obsidian Monuments and Amulets actually being fossilized separated remains of the Pyro Sovereign purely because of the feather like shape and because I didn't understand what a Wayob was yet, this could just be nothing or maybe it could be something to think about but I thought I'd share it either way
Can't wait for when we get into the real theories though
Surprised I made to the end? Of course I’ll watch it all. You favorite GenshinTuber
YUS I was so needing this video!! I was so lost about how Natlan's "stuff" related to the Teyvat systems we were familiar with from other regions
No autoplay, just a loyal subscriber
Great video as usual! But seriously, what are the chances that Xbalanque would actually be a playable character? I'm so desperate to know at this point help-
We might only speculate as in maybe he will be brought back by Mavuika by the Ode of Resurrection. You can also go and "dig" some more on your own on other sites, but until we get a confirmation, nothing is clear.
Some leakers said his model in 5.1 is very NPC-ish, and the possibility of him being playable is extremely low
between king deshret tier and ei dead friends tier of chances
just from a marketing standpoint probably zero considering mavuika is showcased as the 'archon' for natlan just like furina was for fontaine and nahida is for sumeru. Bringing back another pyro archon would be pointless and just downplay the current one. The pyro sovereign is more likely
He won’t be. All the leaks were false
The Pyro hero is gonna be us, the traveler
1. a cryo gnosis from the tsaritsa
2. a cryo vision since he might be from the masters of the night wind. we dont really know which tribe xblanque was from so this might be possible
Anyway I hope you research this a little and see if it all connects
Just in time! I was looking for a video to watch and here you are :)
Jokes on you Ashikai, I don't have autoplay on, I just enjoy your mad rambling theories
You absolutely have to revisit your world structure theory now. I've been doing some theorizing too using the information and ideas you've presented and I'm super excited to see what you come up with lol
Ashi Bait right here:
I bet Deshret is behind it all.
The Annihilation reaction makes so much sense after you explain and compared it to the fontaine mechanics that is ousia and pneuma.
Big Pog! Your theories are always amazing
No autoplay involved - I just enjoy your theories and lore explaining a lot!
the night kingdom is a mix between Xibalba, the Kong cosmogram and Patakatifu.
Yo why I never realized that gold is material and blue is memory in genshin kinda mindblown by that
I'm so scared that they will decide to make Capitano Xbalanque, due to both of them being masked figures with dragon motifs, because that will be a bummer, but hopefully this isn't the case, hopefully 😅
What I do think, is that he's related to the Wayob in some type of way, in his fight with Mavuika he doesn't control ice per sé, he launched and summoned pillars of cold obsidian, the same obsidian that the wayob are made out of, maybe he's an obsidian gollem/wayob with a fragment of previous archons consciousness in him
Another excellent video! Thanks for all your hard work!
Yay! Speculation to fill out the blanks! ;>
ngl natlan feels like such a whole new world instead of just a part of teyvat. i get that every nations have their own uniqueness but natlan just feels otherworldly unique with the amount of things like the night kingdom, wayob, ancient names etc. lore-wise only, this is probably the most overwhelmed i've ever been going to a new nation in teyvat😂
i can't wait for snezhnaya (and khaenri'ah too but we already had a few key informations about khaenri'ah along traveler's journey that would help)
Lore Queen is back! 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
That makes me believe that Snezhnaya is represented by crown of Logos,
What does it mean i have no idea, but it sounds cool.
Great video! :D
When I read the artifact sets and the books from Natlan, I got the feeling that the advanced dragon civilization happened after the Primordial One defeated the dragons, and it survived up until Nibelung tried to defeat Celestia by using abyssal power... I don't think I have proof for this, but it was just the feeling i got while reading it...
The funny thing about Ashikai's theories is people suddenly headcannon it despite all the disclaimers and the game itself not addressing the theory.
Love the thumbnail LMAO. Perfectly captures most of us trying to understand the lore 😭
Finally you came back!
3:43 And once again Hoyo shows why the Summer Events are Lore Relevant.
no autoplay, I just find everything you say intresting and don't want to miss any comments at the end :)
I needed this… thank you Ashikai
Can't believe even ashikai missed the fact that we see the first depiction of nibelung.17:36
the black dragon is almost certainly nibelung and not the pyro sovereign, in the quest right after we see this mural we are greeted by a lore text in black background which heavily hinting the black dragon being nibelung coming back from beyond.
Yey , Ashikai!
I hit like before the video starts. 😅 Looking forward every week☺️☺️☺️
So impressed by ur pronunciation in this one! I’m Mexican myself and even I struggle ;;
As always, SUPER great! Thanks
"Your immaterial reflection follows you"
why does this wording reminds me of that trailer about the twins walking with reflection
WOOH I've been patiently (IMPATIENTLY) waiting for this.
amazing video Ashikai
I'll assume that the 0:24 clip was an ad 🤣
Tsurumi Island also has some VERY Night Kingdom vibes and with the Thunderbird.
YAYYY I've been waiting for a Natlan video let's gooo 🎉🎉
I wonder if Ashikai did Kinich's quest that dropped recently involving Enjou/Sanka because I felt a lot of foreshadowing in it, we'll see
I usually wait a bit and try to understand things a bit more, but this time, I felt it's okay.
Wow i loved your theory at the end about possibly the future archon quest might be. Keep cooking Asikai🎉
