Troppo bella!
The best song on what is an outstanding album. It’s quite upsetting watching their most recent live performances knowing they never got anywhere near the recognition, the fame or the fortune they so very much deserved, but most of all for the sheer pleasure and indulgence that I experienced and quality that still endures through their music.
when a class band like the adventures are relatively unknown it makes you wonder about the rubbish people listen to today! what happened to the music industry?very sad
Well i hang my head in shame as ive only heard Broken Land a few times .... this band should be in my head every minure of every day as they are fabulous
How the hell this album wasn’t one of the biggest selling albums in the world at the time of release still amazes me to this day … absolutely EPIC and deserved to be heard by so many more people than those that were lucky enough to hear it … brilliant band and Terry Sharpe’s vocals are amazing ❤
I still play this album its a classic , these supported Tears For Fears at the Manchester Apollo in the early 80's and I enjoyed these better than the main act :)
What a great song!!!...apparently did no have to deserved recognition at the moment.Blissful people who, like me, still remember it and can listen to it from time to time, because this makes us happy and pays homage to the band.
Yes, the blue coloured liquid in the middle of the lifebouy! The best song on what is an outstanding album. Saw them when they were a support act to Fleetwod Mac,at the NEC. I thou ght they were great and bought this CD the next day.I was a vynil junky and this was my first ever CD purchase.
OMG. This track is *so* great! Really! Haven't heard it in the last 25+ years or so. Got the entire album on vinyl, - well...this might be the "excuse" to get that goddamned turntable.
just read that this stopped getting played on the radio as it was released at the same time the piper alpha disaster happened in july 88 such a brilliant song as well
Such an amazing song & the album this is from is incredible too - every song is lovely and no duff tracks, unlike so many other albums! My copy of it went AWOL and I was gutted! I just ordered another copy (extended) from Amazon... Can't wait to get it. It's so endlessly listenable & my ears will be delighted!!
One of the best albums that grows on you the more you listen.
take me back to these days please!

51 of age today and it still gives me the emotion of those years back in the ‘80s. I have to look back in the past to find the music I really like!
If this song was released today, most current artists would run and hide in shame of what they produce and awe of what came before them!!
I never stopped loving this song.
it's so underrated
Fantastic Band and Song
In 1984 This Song in Italy Was The Soundtrack of Soap Opera
Febbre D 'Amore
Fever of Love

And another thing you can hear clearly the words they are singing back then unlike now where you can barely make out what they are saying.
The music industry is dead and that's why I come on to TH-cam to listen to great music like this particularly the 70s and 80s.
One of the best Bands ever
Decades later and I'm still loving their songs :-P
yep me too
Julie Carter class Julie 🙏
To see

All their albums were great...in their own way. They were a fantastic band I agree!
Dave Robson good for him to change genre. his punk genre did not work.
I had forgotten what a wonderful song this is..
Oh My God! I found this song!!!!

Hark at this masterpiece… how could this of never of been a huge hit …
You don't use 'of' like that. try this "how could this never have been a huge hit?" :)

Me too. I walked out half way through Fleetwood Mac as they sounded rubbish compared to The Adventures. I've been a massive fan ever since.
Loved this song playing in the car when l did my first job after school 1990. I'll never forget those days.
this song did huge things in Australia...as did the whole album
96FM in WA loved it. I'm surprised it wasn't huge worldwide.
Very popular in Ireland. Around the same time as INXS and Midnight Oil I think.
Great video! Thanks for share !
