So a lot of zoos give their big cats pet dogs. Famously, a lot of cheetahs have pet Golden Retrievers. I assume that’s the relationship with this corgi and tiger.

The Corgi likely wouldn't but I'm going to bet they grew up together and that isn't a rare encounter they likely have slept together and possibly even eat side by side. You couldn't get away with it now but just a few blocks from downtown here where I live an older man had two lions in his backyard brother and sisters they were orphaned when their mother was killed by a poacher and his son was being a missionary in the area adopted them and sent them home to his parents who changed them to a tree in the backyard no more than a mile from the building where the city council met.

Tigers are intelligent and often playful…when well fed and well kept. Obviously you’re never completely safe with a tiger, but with enough care and a sated appetite it’s possible to get the risk down to manageable levels. EDIT: Professional care, I should specify. Trying to own a tiger as a pet is a fast track to death, whether for you or the tiger.

Judging from its size, I'd say that's a Sumatran tiger, and Google says they can weigh anywhere from 200-300 lbs. To us, that's not much, but to that little booger, he's getting squished.

It's interesting to see different species that grow up together when they start out very small and attach themselves to each other. Over time the bond can grow.
Well if they're two mammals this is easier, after all there's nothing which makes your empathize with "members of your own specie" you generally just empathize with whatever is similar to you. As opposite to reptiles which generally see other being as food or threat, especially if it's similar to them.

I saw a very odd friendship it was very touching and fun to watch so I'm sure you would enjoy it if you can find it it was a dog who went to the harbor everyday to meet his best friend a dolphin who is always they're waiting for him and what was real funny was as he gets close he get so excited he can't contain himself and leaves his owner behind heading for the pier at a dead Sprint. Tigers are intelligent and often playful…when well fed and well kept. Obviously you’re never completely safe with a tiger, but with enough care and a sated appetite it’s possible to get the risk down to manageable levels.

Tigers are like the only species with a favourable matchup against almost everyone and everything.
Except for a Grizly bear. Idk what can take a full grown bear like that head on. The claws on those mofos alone.. they're just as fast too once they get up to speed. I think they climb trees? Judging from its size, I'd say that's a Sumatran tiger, and Google says they can weigh anywhere from 200-300 lbs. To us, that's not much, but to that little booger, he's getting squished.
