My wife and I just bought the zero sugar ones the other day because we do Keto. Probably the best diet soda we have ever had. I hope this is a permanent thing, not limited edition. I like this way more than Dr Pepper. To me the Zero sugar one has tons of strawberry to me, but I'm really used to not having sugar for almost 2 years so maybe I don't taste the diet flavor that blocks the strawberry for you guys.
Just purchased two 12 packs of the zero sugar Strawberries and Cream as part of a 4 for 14 sale. Could not wait to break one open. Even at room temperature, really liked it. Tastes like a strawberry milkshake poured over regular Dr. Pepper to me.
Nice review I've tried this soda and I liked it I brought a few cans to work for my co-workers and my manager tried it and she liked it so much she wanted me to buy some more. My son tried it also with vanilla icecream and he said it taste like a strawberry smoothie.
This one surprised me!! I dont drink diet drinks at all, I mostly drink zevia but this flavor intrigued me and curiosity was getting the better of me So i tried it yesterday and oh my goodness its my new favorite 😍 I went and bought a 12 pack and going back tommorow again to take advantage of the 3 for $15 at frys (kroger) SUPER glad its permanent! I just find it funny how I ended up loving this when I didn't expect to 😅
what I found interesting is when I had the zero sugar version from the 12 pack , I taste the Dr Pepper then the strawberry and the cream, but the next day I had another can of it and it was totally different it had barely tasted like strawberry and creams. Maybe its varies depending on how they bottled it

Wow. One of those rare times I tried a pop/soda flavor before you guys posted your review. Normally I don't find a flavor until like a week or two after you guys post your review. I thought the Strawberry Dr. Pepper was okay. Prefer regular/plain Dr. Pepper and Dr. Pepper Dark Berry more. Maybe even the Cherry Dr. Pepper, which I think I need to retry since it's been years since I last had it. I'm a little mad at myself for not doing research on the Strawberry Dr. Pepper before going out to find it and try it. From what I read, it's a new permanent flavor and not some limited time flavor. I thought it was limited time since the label and even the stands in stores screams Valentine's Day. The little strawberries on the label almost look like hearts if you don't stare at it, and then pink is another popular Valentine's Day color. And when you mix the pink with the red of the strawberries, it's almost Valentine's Day themed. But the flavor is permanent from what I read. I'm a little upset that they made the Strawberry Dr. Pepper permanent and not Dark Berry. As I said, I liked the Dark Berry more. But it would've been nice to know the flavor is going to be permanent ahead of time and that I should've done research first. I wouldn't have rushed out to get it and made such a big deal trying to track it down. But nowadays, not many new pop/soda flavors are permanent. About 90% of the time they are limited time/seasonal (seasonal like Summer, Halloween, and Christmas). So I just assumed the Strawberry Dr. Pepper was limited time/seasonal (for Valentine's Day).
Yay! So glad you found it. I have a friend who works at my local Kroger and confirmed that they have several pallets full there. I’m picking it up tomorrow!
@@TamiDunn Update: ALL of the regular has sold out. I checked that Kroger and two Walmarts. Finally I found it at an obscurely located Dollar General. The zero sugar was everywhere though.

Don't worry about not finding it right away. It is nice to be among the first, but the flavor is permanent. It won't go anywhere unless Dr. Pepper decides to discontinue it. But that probably won't happen for a couple years. So there is still plenty of time to try it. It's probably hard to find at the moment since it's new and everyone wants to try it/be the first, or maybe stores are still trying to get it in stock/on the shelves since the delivery trucks haven't reached them yet. But the flavor is permanent, so you'll eventually be able to find it.
I think the zero sugar version (the only one I can drink, as I am diabetic) is WAY too sweet, zero sugar not withstanding. I couldn't detect any of the traditional Dr. Pepper flavor, just the strawberries and cream. I bought it expecting to like it, as I am a huge Dr. Pepper Cherry Zero fan, but no. I love Cherry Zero because it has plenty of Dr. Pepper taste with just a pleasant hint of cherry; this new flavor hits with a strawberry sledge hammer. I gave it a fair trial, too. I was fortunate enough to find someone who really likes it and was willing to buy the remaining eight cans from the 12 pack I bought for $3. Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream definitely misses the mark, for me. (And I remember Dr. Pepper's chocolate cherry from the late 90s, and liked it.)
Now I need to buy the zero sugar to see if I can tell if it is strawberry. I can’t justify the regular. I am like you Tami, I don’t want to drink my calories. Great review.

I have a theory as to what is wrong with dr pepper zero sugar version of strawberry and cream i think the issue is that original dr pepper is cherry flavored and that cherry flavor of original dr pepper over takes the flavor of the strawberry and cream flavor that combined with the taste of the artificial sweetener isn't a good combination but is fine in the full sugar version because in the full sugar version the strawberry and cream flavor isn't competing with the original flavor of cherry dr pepper and the flavor of the artificial sweetener
I've had no luck finding the zero sugar one in Vegas anywhere, but after watching Kevin's reaction I'm not so eager to keep looking for a whole 12 pack of it now lol.. Thanks for the heads up!

Idk if you guys ever seen the scientific comparisons between zero sugar soda and full sugar soda, but zero sugar soda is actually worse for you overall. Idk if you've ever looked up the reasons why, but it's really interesting to see
If you remember the creme saver candies that to me is what the Zero tastes like to me but they don't taste like the strawberry it tastes like the raspberry ones

Found mine for about $2 at a Casey's gas station, along with the new Peep flavored Pepsi. I love the new Dr Pepper but I find the new Pepsi to be disgusting!🤢
What's interesting though is that they do make that extra flavor (aka the 24th flavor) stand out and stuff. Plus they overall mix well with the already 23 flavors. There is some Dr. Pepper flavors I like more, but I haven't found any of them to be disgusting.

I would try this despite not liking Dr. Pepper too much but if the flavor can mask the underlining Dr. Pepper taste, then just maybe!
The regular does mask the original flavor.
