I actually think the drinks out of a can taste best but the issue is you can’t reseal a can and I rarely drink an entire can of soda in one sitting so the cans tend to go flat on me.
I like being able to screw the cap on too!

Same here. If I happen to have a can of soda I actually pour it into a bottle and keep it in the fridge, it'll last me a few days that way and is a nice treat 👍🏼
I blame the sun tan lotion companies, they should have never scented the lotion like coconut 🤣

One other thing I will add the Dr Pepper label says coconut cream but you don't really get a creamy texture. Adding some Coffee-Mate coconut creamer or a little bit of the new dirty soda creamer from Coffee-Mate gives it a really nice creamy finish! But you only need to add a little as you already have plenty of coconut flavor in the soda! 😊
I tried the ‘zero’ version the other day and as a “true blue Texan” Dr.Pepper is a must. That said, I liked it, but it's an acquired taste.

I am so glad you reviewed this so fast. When I read about this, the first thing I thought...suntan oil. I still shudder from the Mountain Dew Baja Flash from 2021, which was pineapple-coconut but tasted like the suntan oil smells. It's weird-I drink Sugar Free Dr. Pepper in the blue can or 32oz blue label bottle. It was my favorite soda along with lemon-flavored Pepsi Light and Tab(I still really miss Tab). Over the years though, they changed the formula and flavor so much with the name change to Diet dr. Pepper, I find it absolutely undrinkable. I don't like Dr. Pepper but I loved the Dr Pepper Vanilla Float soda from 2014 thru 2016 and I love the new Strawberries & Cream Dr. Pepper. Out Walmart has the Zero Sugar in bottles, but not the full sugar, yet. I like buying a 20oz bottle to try before committing to a 12pk. Since you both dink Zero Sugar regularly, I trust your thoughts on them. I've given up most Full Sugar sodas outside of an occasional Limited-Edition flavor not available in Zero Sugar, so I am more interested in the ZS Coconut Cream Dr. Pepper. Thank you so much. I absolutely love the Zero Sugar Spiced Coke.
I’m neutral on it (I tried the regular version). I am a coconut person too. I thought it was good, but I don’t think I would buy a 12-pack of it and drink it all the time (although it’s a limited time flavor). Luckily I found the 20oz at Meijer, so I don’t have eleven other cans sitting around. I can see the coconut dessert thing since when I tried it, it reminded me of an Almond Joy (I love those). Oh and this is one of those rare times I tried it before you guys posted a video/review on it. I tried it back on April 17th. Usually you guys get your reviews out for things (mainly pop/soda flavors) like a couple weeks to a month or two before I finally start seeing it in the stores in my area. And it seems like a lot of stores are breaking release date on this Dr. Pepper. It’s not supposed to officially release until April 29th. But I tried it almost two weeks before its release date and you guys got your review up a few days before the release date. Plus I’m sure the stores in my area had it out a few days before I found it/tried it. So much for release dates.

I actually like this a lot. I drank a can of the regular at the same time that you guys were drinking it in the video. I like that you can taste the coconut but still taste the Dr Pepper at the same time. That wasn't really the case with the strawberries and cream and some of their other flavors where all you tasted was the flavoring.
I did not get a suntan lotion vibe at all. A soda that I did get that from was the Mountain Dew flash in a yellow can that came out a summer or two ago. That had so much coconut in it it hit you over the head literally like a coconut would. This soda was done much better than that. I will say though that Kevin is right as far as vanilla Dr Pepper and cherry and other flavorings being too subtle to cover the taste of Dr Pepper making them taste basically like regular Dr Pepper.
Kevin has drank many of these now. He’s still really enjoying it.

Is the Dr Pepper taste muted in the Zero Sugar just as much in the regular? I don’t like Dr Pepper, but very curious because I like coconut! Hmmm. Great review.
Kevin has drank quite a few of the zero sugar now. He says the coconut is the strongest flavor, but it does go really well with the Dr Pepper flavor that is there.

I am 65 years old and a Dr Pepper girl since my teens. I make Dirty Dr Pepper from time to time and love it!!! Dr Pepper, coconut creamer and sometimes a splash of lime...so good!! I want to give this a try to see what it taste like. Thank you for the review.

I’m not a coconut fan but love to try anything new. I don’t drink my calories either 😊 the sprite cherry lime was a disappointment. There is a Pepsi peach and Pepsi lime out too.
I'm SO glad it didn't taste like sun tan lotion 😊😊 I was nervous when I seen the post on Facebook. After watching this video, I was like Ok, Tami & Kevin like it, it's safe now 😂

I prefer carbonated drinks from a can, and non-carbonated drinks from a bottle.
I don't drink soda so I wouldn't try this, but if I get any kind of drink I end up not liking or something, personally I try to just suck it up and finish it, even if I bought more than one. (Unless it literally makes me wanna hurl, then I dump it... I'm looking at you Jalapeno Strawberry Reign...)
And that goes for food too... It's too expensive not to 😭
Interesting. I smelled a great coconut but tasted watered down dr pepper. My coworker said he tasted only coconut with no dr pepper!

It’s about the same caffeine content. I did the math lol. Sometimes the zero sugar has more.
Its soo good but hard to find in eastern pa. ( Poconos)
Curiosity is going to get me to buy and try it along with the flavor of coconut.

To me, the zero sugar is better than the “full flavor”. The original is a little too bold for me. I pop mine in the freeze for an hour or so at a time for a slushee treat.

They made it for the dirty soda trend add heavy whipping cream or a dash of creamer vanilla or original and add a splash of lime juice add bang a Dirty soda!
