Belarus and Kazakhstan would instantly identify him at the border and have Russian border control detain him. Since Georgia and Azerbaijan have the enormous wall of Caucasus Mountains, he could really only cross at two points, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, both Russian occupied zones. Arctic Ocean to the North, Siberia and Pacific to the East. East Ukraine is a warzone occupied by Russian Forces. His only chances would be Finland and Mongolia but he would have to travel UNDETECTED through some of the coldest regions north of St. Petersburg to get to Finland or cross the endless expanse of Siberia to get into Mongolia where he would have even more distance to travel. He could try North Korea or China (Two totalitarian military/police states that hate America though).

I don’t understand why people leave the comfort of of the USA to go live in a foreign country. When the slightest misstep could land you in prison with no rights. America is far from perfect. It amazes me how most people would prefer to be here, yet love to turn around and talk smack about her. America rocks!

The answer is simple! There are way too many idiots in the USA who do not appreciate what the USA gives them in reality! This person is not the only US citizen trapped in fascist Rushka. There are three more behind bars in Russia. Two of those are political prisoners held as hostages by Putin's regime!
