The Speed 400 is an awesome bike. I’ve taken it for a 450km plus trip to the Great Ocean Road & the Otways National Park - & it was so quick, nimble & easy to ride, even at highway speeds. I’d recommend it to anyone looking in this category. There’s a long wait for these Speed 400s in Australia, they’re very popular!
Until they dropped the new 1200 RS, I thought the 400 kinda outclassed the bigger CC versions in looks. If I lived in the city I'd definitely consider one as a daily commuter. On a different note, I think it's so smart that you have a tiered licensing system. In the U.S. you take a 2 day course and then you can get whatever you want and never have to take a course again. That's how you get 18 year old kids riding liter bikes with virtually no experience or an older but novice rider getting an 800 LBS cruiser when they can barely turn a corner in a parking lot.
Looks like a good option for 2A, be nice to see how it does on an NS Hwy ride. Getting popular as a city bike in the UK and for old Ang Moh Uncles who want a lighter MC for a short Kopitiam ride.
Love this review! Was considering getting one in SG as well! Somewhat unrelated, but could yall also review the QJMotor SRV300 as well? Can't find many local reviews on this and I think it just came into SG. Seems like a great 2A cruiser alternative to a royal enfield
I like that we have variety in the 2A category, but somehow they dont design them for power anymore. Why S4 has been popular is due to its versatile in-line 4, useful in Spore road and also enough power for touring up-north. Now 2A, or 2B bikes are usually a downsize version of their bigger "brother" with the bigger CC. No doubt the design is much better, but single cylinder, or small bore twins wont have to oompf like the older 400cc in-line 4s.
Haha definitely there’s a bunch of legendary bikes, but the cafe styled motorcycles available were quite limiting unless we go back to the time when the “retro bikes” are still made brand new in factories 😂
Correction on the license. You can take your 2A/2 TP test one year from the passing date of your previous class 2B/2A. So lessons for 2A can actually start one day after you pass 2B. 😂😂😂
Nice bike, but how is it compares to Super 4? 🤔 I can relate the high costs on the super 4 maintenance. I had S4 V1. It was a great class 2A bike but it come with hight cost maintenance. 😢
Riding this is definitely way more chill, both in terms of the power of the machine and also the mindset. Riding the s4 I kept wanting to chiong, but riding the speed 400 made me slow down and enjoy the ride. The speed 400 is also a lot lighter and torqier than the s4. Go for a test ride honestly, then you’ll know what you like and what you miss!
@tri333ple thanks. The service is every 16k, which makes it more economical. Having said that, it is a hard sell for class 2 holders as Mah selling 2023 kawasaki 650 at 14k before COE.

That sounds amazing, would imagine with some 50/50 tires it would ride amazingly through the unsealed roads through Forest. Thanks for sharing buddy!
Hi pls do a review on the fantic caballero 125 rally. I try to check in youtube but there no proper reviews on this bike

Can you make a review on Moto Guzzi v7 and the Bonneville t120😁
I'm stuck between 2 bikes 😂
Love the review! what is that glove ure wearing?
Hey buddy, it’s the Klim Rambler gloves in tan!
Loves how Jake provides a different take on how reviews are done on the channel, but what I wanna know is where is the location of the cafe?
Chye Seng Huat Harware Cafe at Tyrwhitt Rd
Coffee made by PPP, probably one of the OG cafes in SG
@@gunjamed93 thanks thanks!!
Thanks buddy! Yepp it’s definitely a place to hang they have great coffee there!
6:04 I felt uncomfortable when you lifted both hands off the bar 😭
You forgot about the cbr400, rvf, drz… omg I’m old! 😂
Could you do a “everyday” review of the 450mt? I know it’s coming…
Had to be a rider in the 90s-00s to mention those

sounds so good !!
New one cost around 24k SGD🤌
Walaoweh
Yamaha SR 400 with supertrapp still the best.
Z400 easily gets overlooked :(
If only it has higher torque 🤔
Dream bike!
The OBU so bulky omg
Fugly as hell. More so on cafe racers and cruiser; so jarring!
“The future of my generation feels numb” 😅
Get super 4
S4 never die
hahaha well this is made by indians so it surely will be designed like one.
It's designed by Triumph UK
A stupid comment from a Fool

Think this only applies to CDC... SSDC and BBDC, i doubt that's possible
Not sure if it’s a school thing, I got all my licenses at SSDC, and could only sign up a year after pass date! -Jake
@@dinouzairabdullah7513are you serious? When did they implement this at CDC?
@@R8lattecan verify for cdc its true! got my 2a there
