Similar performance to my 2002 APG (around 230k). Absolutely love that car, actually that's my 3rd a3 8l. Fast, agile and everything is where it supposed to be.
@Ludwigvan The chassis is doing great, no rust points at all, and it's a very reliable car. I wouldn't recommend buying the 1.6 since the fuel economy it's really close and the 1.8 125ps performs better.
@Ludwigvan I had 8L and now 8P 1.6, for ride comfort 8P 2005 is much better and comfortable car , much more quiter inside and no wind noise around door trims , suspension is better top. The Engines are the same , and 102 HP in 1.6 A3 doesnt consumpt much around 6-7 l /100km. But didnt try 1.8 this should ne faster.
I have the same but automatic. 85.000 KM only. I see there's a lot of life left on mine as the one you're driving is still good @ 298.000 KM. Best regards from sunny Brazil
@@TopSpeedAutobahnGermany nice, at least the 400 one was 4 wheels drive, i always wished that mine A3 was quattro, because the first and second burn alot of gummy 😂
Maybe i am answering late, but i own one with 1.8 agn engine for over a year now. Parts are cheap, only problem is the fuel consumption plus the times where fuel prices are sooo high
@@robertsujan9726 totally agree, my 2002 is in a great shape, around 230k. Turbo is considered better because it's faster with almost the same fuel consumption but it doesn't mean that regular 1.8 is a bad engine. It's very reliable, quite fast and parts are cheap. And 1.8 in a good shape can smoke 1.8T in a bad shape. Mine can do 100 km/h in 9 sec, very close to many tired 150 HP 1.8 turbos on the roads.
that the automatik transmition better top speed had..i don't kmow.. it can be posible because surely has another gear speed ratio...but i still think that for These old car Generation the manual Transmission is the best choice

This one with 300.000km seems to be performing better than mine with 220.000km (facelift).
