I'm 21! And I remember these old men, khulu Sithole, Tims, Thodhlana and crew coming to my house singing by the veranda. My mother would carry them in her Mazda B1800, travel and sing with them. I also knew Mam Dorothy very well...she used to Stay with us whenever she was in the country. She would always tell me about life in Sophiatown and all. George Salimu and my mother were in the Submarine Band in the mid 2000s, sang in bulawayo clubs and etc. All I can say is I can count myself lucky to have been raised by these legends! And many other influential people from politicians to musicians
Awesome, life well lived doing what they loved best, the city must find ways of honoring its residents that have enriched other people's lives in one ways o the other... 🙏
A really informative account siyabonga🙏🏾🤝🏾

AWESOME! I didn't know the group was still performing. I thought they had retired. Why hasn't Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA) recognised them??
BAA should definetely recognise them. They are after all named after the City itself. The Cool Crooners of Bulawayo
