    About the colonialism bit, even Nehru stated that the first fifty years of British rule was positive for most Indians, getting rid some of the cruelty and lack of fair legal codes of traditional Indian society like the arbitrary authority of Raj princelings. The problem was they didn't know when to leave,

    Actually isn’t it supposed to be pronounced “Deen” and not “Din”? In the poem it rhymes with “green”.
