    Please don't use essential oils on your TP rolls. It goes through the cardboard into the paper. Most, if not all, essential oils aren't safe to use/contact lady bits. It's a good way to give yourself chemical burn or open you up for infections (because potential pH changes)

    Tip: before putting the paper towel soaked in bleach, on the molding strip, soak a paper towel with any type of vinegar, for 4 hours. I use apple cider vinegar. Mold is a fungus, and vinegar is a fungicide. Bleach only whitens the black, or any colored mold, where as the vinegar kills the mold.

    The black light hack is great. This also works if you have kids who don't always wash their hands well enough, and flip the light switch in the bathroom when they leave. With the light off, shine the black light on the switch, door handle, sink or any other surface. Just a bonus, you can use it to find pee stains from your pets as well. If you smell animal urine, but can't quite find it, try this. At night, shut all your lights off and begin at one end of the house and shine the black light on every surface. Corners of closets, under the bed, or along the baseboards are especially prone.

      I just clean them the way I WISH other people would clean AirBnB and hotel bathrooms! I don't want to see the previous guests pube hair ANYWHERE! And the base of the toilet better not have dust and hairs and dirt built up on it and clean under the rim of the toilet, for goodness sake! And last but not least, clean the mirror and then use your cloth with window cleaner on it to shine all the faucets, handles, spouts, etc. Makes a difference for the overall look of the bathroom. Shiny looks cleaner, always! And it only takes like 2 minutes!

    No need to tuck the fitted sheet inside itself if you’re putting the set away....fold the fitted (the same way as shown) and flat sheets to the same size and place inside the pillow case and fold the pillowcase flap underneath. The entire set is folded and put away together, looks much neater when put away and is easier to grab.

      It also works to fold your flat sheet in a square and place in the middle as you complete the fitted sheet so they are folded together. Typically I put one pillow case folded on top of the flat sheet that is folded inside the fitted sheet, fold, put in the 2nd pillow case and voila an entire bed change is neatly folded and all together. Hello, thank you for your channel. I would urge you not to use Tide Powder - or any other laundry detergent - for household cleaning. It contains enzymes which are meant for cleaning clothing in the closed washing machine system. They are not meant for mopping your floor and going into the air for you and your children to breathe. This can lead to enzyme sensitization and even eventual asthma. Please take this seriously, and if you would like confirmation, please call Consumer Support at any of the detergent manufacturers. • @qveenissac
    @qveenissac 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I have a better hack than toilet cleaner for grout!Plus, NO BLEACH!
    The grout in my apt was SO gross and the seal had long worn off so I was constantly scrubbing it bc the white would get dingy so fast. I'd scrub it w bleach so much I was wearing away the grout. Tried the toilet cleaner trick but it takes forever to wipe up and you don't want kids or pets touching the residue on counters or floors!
    The alternative is mixing hydrogen peroxide and baking soda (ya I thought the same this bs isn't going to work) and smear it into your grout lines. Actually what I do now is just sprinkle some baking soda w a teaspoon, use the spoon back to push it in the grout lines and spray hydrogen peroxide over top. I've done both thy both work. The important part is to LET IT DRY! Not only does this disinfect but it whitens/brightens (even my tan floor grout) BEYOND BELIEF. I was using a heavy duty stiff grout brush before w/ bleach and a lottt of elbow grease. With the H2O2+baking soda, once dry rehydrate it with water (I like to use more H2O2) and a light scrub w a reg toothbrush is all you need. Wipe away and be amazed. Even if you leave a trace it's not a chemical like bleach. Def seal your grout after you do this and you'll save yourself a lot of time cleaning later.

      Also I’ve been doing a faster method of my orig hydrogen peroxide/baking soda hack-just sprinkle some baking soda all over and spray w H2O2 (most nozzles fit right in the bottle). Using a scrub brush, brush into grout lines (no need to scrub you’re just getting it over/into the grout). Let dry…this is when the magic happen! Spray again w water (or more H2O2 for extra cleaning power), scrub to loosen w/ a scrub or toothbrush and wipe w/ a clean rag. Much more efficient and uses less product than my orig method.

    The fabric softener in a spray bottle thing is very bad to do, it's waxy so it draws dust and aerosolized fabric softener is a breathing problem, especially eith kids and pets, it's not meant to be sprayed in the air or onto a cloth because it's then airborne

    My carpenter friend said grout goes bad over time no matter what you do and needs replaced. No way around that. Just pull out/replace. If mirror is fogging put fan on. If it doesn't disappear, do a fan check. 1 sheet of tp throw it up towards fan. If it falls. Bad fan. 1st clean it really well, try again. If it falls, replace fan. I was taught two very important things about bleach :
    1. NEVER mix bleach with another product. If your product is acidic it makes a toxic fumes. Which you breath in and your kids breath and your pets... Don't do it.
    2. Bleach kills bacteria when diluted with COLD water. The colder the better. We put hot or warm water with soap to help with oily stuff, but really putting warm or hot water with bleach makes it ineffective.
    Also, so many hacks use baking soda and vinegar together because it makes a nice foamy thing and you think that stuff is doing something. In reality you are putting an acid on a base wich turn the whole thing neutral. Like water. Basically you are using 2 very useful products and turning them into water. Just use really hot water, add vinegar with dish soap to degrease, it is more effective. Maybe less nice to look at on TH-cam though
